I'd go negative if I could! Do not let your young adult apply to the new Cold Stone location in Freehold, New Jersey. The owner is insulting, disrespectful, and mean to his employees. He's unhelpful and has terrible communication with his staff. Multiple workers have quit because of his behavior, and I've heard from other parents about how he mistreats people. He lost a hardworking, dedicated employee in my daughter and lost us as customers too.

Bought a large cake from the Fishkill location for a birthday party and found a long hair baked right into it when I went to eat my slice. It was disgusting and clearly fell in while they were making it. I paid a lot of money for a cake with someone's hair in it. I called customer service and left my information, but they never called me back. Total disappointment.

Got a shake and was disappointed. When I picked it up, it was basically flavored water. Not thick, not creamy, just thin and underwhelming.

Honestly, I'd give zero stars if I could. The North Canton location is absolutely terrible. The store is filthy, and I watched an employee literally licking her fingers while handling ice cream. We waited about 15 minutes while staff just stood around laughing instead of taking orders. When we asked what was taking so long, they got defensive and rude. A delivery driver came to pick up an order and they barely acknowledged him, then were just as nasty to him. Seriously, McDonald's ice cream beats whatever this place serves, hands down.

This was a shocking experience. I paid way too much money for just one scoop of ice cream, and when I questioned it, the staff were hostile and wouldn't listen. The place looked dirty and uninviting, which made the whole visit uncomfortable. I won't go back and definitely won't recommend it to friends. Find another spot and save your cash.

Terrible experience overall. The guy making my ice cream didn't have a beard net or hair net on, which was gross. His poor hygiene practices definitely affected my order. On top of that, the customer service was awful and the staff had a serious attitude problem.

Went to the Norton Shores location in Michigan and it was revolting. The glass case holding the ice cream had fingerprints all over it like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The display top was covered in grease and dust so thick you could write on it. The floor tiles were broken and there was a burnt smell throughout the store. The whole place felt gross and poorly managed. Three of us got sick after eating there that day, and it was the only place we all visited. I'm heading to the frozen yogurt shop across the street next time. This Cold Stone is just nasty.

I had an awful visit at this Cold Stone location. The staff member who took my order was rude and wouldn't give me a moment to decide what I wanted. She made me feel rushed and unwelcome. Things got worse when I asked for her name and she told me to leave the store, saying they didn't need customers like me. I was incredibly upset and embarrassed. Paying customers deserve to be treated with respect, period. The company really needs to improve their training because I won't be coming back and I'll be spending my money somewhere else.

My experience at this franchise was nothing short of awful. The staff member helping me was disrespectful and rude from the start. While I was deciding what to order, she yelled at me for taking too long and wasting their time. It went downhill fast. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it and actually kicked me out, saying they didn't want customers like me. I felt humiliated and disrespected just for trying to make a simple purchase. Cold Stone needs serious training on how their staff should treat paying customers with basic respect. I'm done going there.

I thought the outside of the cake would have buttercream, but instead it had this gross coating that leaves a nasty greasy feeling in your mouth. Plus, my cake melted in just 30 minutes even though it was 12 degrees outside. When I mentioned it, the employee said their cream naturally melts in 20 minutes, which doesn't help. Yeah, I made a mistake, but the gross taste made it inedible. I went back and the owner wasn't helpful at all. They wouldn't refund me but offered to swap it for a different cake. I'm not going to Cold Stone again. Honestly, the prices are already too high for what you get. This was supposed to be a special Valentine's Day gift for my husband, so that was really disappointing.

This ice cream is the absolute best! The creaminess is incredible and they really pile on the extra toppings on my Double Dutch. The servings are generous and honestly it's my favorite way to unwind after a stressful day.
