Happiest Baby Reviews
Happiest Baby products have received overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, rated 1.0 out of 5 by 23 reviewers. The primary complaints center on aggressive subscription pricing models that lock basic features behind paywalls after purchase, with customers reporting unexpected $20 to $30 monthly fees for functions previously included. Additional serious concerns include poor customer service experiences, defective or refurbished units failing to perform, slow or unfulfilled replacement shipments, and inflexible return policies that shoppers describe as insensitive to their circumstances.
While some reviewers acknowledge that the products themselves function well when working properly and that others have reported positive sleep outcomes, the overwhelming majority of feedback focuses on feeling deceived by pricing practices, abandoned by customer support when issues arise, and frustrated by what they characterize as unethical business practices. The pricing model particularly frustrates customers who made significant upfront investments (ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars) only to face unexpected subscription requirements to maintain basic functionality.
The product itself is solid IF you can access all the features. I loved using it with my baby and adjusting settings through the app to track sleep. Then I updated the app and suddenly I need to pay $20 monthly just to use basic functions like the weaning mode. The subscription pricing is way too high and this feels like a bait and switch. We probably wouldn't have spent this much on such an expensive bed if we'd known we'd need an unaffordable subscription. Now I have a pricey bassinet I regret buying.
Terrible customer service. They argued with me about the swaddle size they provided for my 7 day old, even though he clearly didn't fit. They promised me a large size that never showed up. It's been a week and apparently it hasn't even shipped. I'm renting this for just one month at $350 a month and they treat new moms like this. They should be ashamed of how they're treating mothers during recovery. Very disappointed.
You shouldn't be selling refurbished or used units if your product can't handle being used by multiple babies. I paid $900 for what's basically a brick, and their customer support is absolutely insulting.
Bought a $2k snoo because we needed it. Used it perfectly fine with our first kid, but now they've locked all the basic features behind a $30 monthly premium subscription that we can't afford. This is completely unethical. They changed the terms on us and made the product useless. Cannot trust this company.
Several people I know said the SNOO helped their kids sleep great, so when I saw a sale for a 6 month rental at 30% off, we jumped on it to save money since that's about how long we'd need it anyway. It was cheaper than renting month to month at $150. Things fell apart when our child hated it and screamed constantly in the snoo. We requested a return hoping to get back the almost $700 we paid, and it was well within the 30 day window. Customer service even told me we'd get a refund as long as we returned it within 30 days. The refund processed but a month went by with no money. Turns out the refund policy only applies if you buy the snoo outright, not if you rent it, even if it doesn't work for your baby. We can't get a refund now either since we shipped it back. I strongly do not recommend this company because unless you're willing to drop $1500 plus on a new one, you're going to lose $700 plus even if the product doesn't work for your family.
I read about a content creator who experienced the unexpected loss of her child and this company actually requested she return the bassinet because she couldn't create content promoting them anymore. A brand centered on babies should have given this grieving mother time to process her loss before demanding the product back. It's disgusting that a baby company would handle such a tragedy this way. I've never bought from them and I'm spreading the word to friends and family to avoid this overpriced company entirely.
Terrible company with terrible service. A mom received a bassinet for her baby who was stillborn. This company harassed this poor woman to return their product. Do not buy from them. Support companies that care about all mothers, especially those who are grieving.
This is an absolutely vile company. They actually sent a grieving mother who lost her baby a request to return the bassinet. Do not buy from them. Check social media to see all the posts and comments about this. They're going viral for all the wrong reasons.
They deserve zero stars for how cruelly they treated a grieving mother. This is inexcusable.
They emailed a grieving mom asking her to send back the crib. This company is awful.
This baby company doesn't care about their customers. They sent a bassinet to a new mom for her to create promotional content. Then her baby unexpectedly passed away. Know what they did less than a week later? Demanded she return the crib since she couldn't make content anymore. This is evil.
This company asked a mother who lost her baby to return the bassinet. Absolutely heartless. Do not support them.
