Customer support can't help with basic issues. To use the scanning feature on my printer, I need to get software from their website. When I try to install it, the program insists my computer isn't connected to the internet, which is absurd because I successfully print wirelessly all the time. The website doesn't provide any way to reach an actual person who might solve this. So I'm stuck with a printer that can only print and no way to get the scanning function working.

I switched over from Hewlett Packard after being frustrated with their printer reliability despite only ever using their official products. The WorkForce appealed to me because it's one of the rare printers that can scan A3 size documents, which I needed for architectural work. Last week I had to scan nearly seven pounds of construction paperwork that was banged up, crinkled, and some pieces had been folded or stapled together. The printer handled it excellently. It's been a couple months since I brought it home in January and I'm genuinely pleased with how it's been performing.

The machine continuously leaves marks and stains on every printout. The paper also arrived bent and covered in imperfections. I've wasted countless sheets of paper, spent way too much on ink, invested way too much time, and lost too much money dealing with this. Definitely not recommended.

This thing constantly produces stained, smudged printouts. On top of that, the paper arrived already folded with multiple visible defects. I've gone through so much wasted paper, wasted ink, wasted hours, and wasted money trying to work with this machine. Would not recommend to anyone.

We own an Epson ET 1810 and it's incredibly unreliable. Some days it works fine, other days it just refuses to cooperate. There are stretches where it won't connect to the internet no matter what we try, and we end up spending hours troubleshooting. Their printer connection tool is basically useless and actually makes problems worse. I'm extremely frustrated with how much stress this device has caused me.

We bought this model thinking it would be a nice upgrade from our basic black and white printer. Really disappointed with how it turned out. On the plus side, the actual printed output looks nice and the ink does seem to go a long way. But the negatives far outweigh that one bright spot. There's a significant delay every time you send something to print, and then the actual printing process crawls along. You definitely can't print something and immediately grab it. Budget for a two to three minute wait minimum. The WiFi connectivity is another major headache. It drops the connection constantly and reconnecting is a pain. Sometimes you get an error saying the printer is busy, or it claims your password is wrong even after you've verified it multiple times. Occasionally you can just unplug it briefly and it'll reconnect on its own, but most of the time that doesn't work either. The WiFi issues don't make any sense given that we have top tier fiber speed internet plus two WiFi boosters, with one positioned right in the same room as the printer itself.

Picked up this model as an upgrade from our old black and white printer, thinking we'd get better results. Unfortunately, it's been a letdown. The printed pages themselves look good and the ink supply lasts decently long, but that's really where the positives end. The big problem is speed - when you hit print, there's a noticeable lag before it even starts, and then printing takes forever. You can't just send something and walk away expecting it back in seconds. Plan on waiting a couple minutes. Another annoying issue is the WiFi connection keeps dropping, and getting it back online is a nightmare. You'll either get told the printer is busy or that your password is wrong, even though you know you typed it correctly. Sometimes unplugging it for a bit helps, but not always. We've got excellent fiber internet and WiFi extenders throughout the space, including one right there in the office with the printer, so the connection problems don't make sense.

Why is plugging in a printer and printing one page such a challenge? There are constant connection problems and every single time I need to print something I end up reinstalling software and drivers. The ink costs are ridiculous too. Terrible piece of equipment that I regret buying.

This company is terrible. They pushed out a firmware update that made all my third party ink cartridges stop working. Complete garbage move by Epson.

Called customer support about an issue and ended up talking to nine different people who all asked me the same questions repeatedly. Each conversation required opening a new case, and nobody ever reviewed what the previous reps had already looked into. The support team seemed like they were in a far away location and I could barely understand what they were saying when they spoke. Their technical knowledge wasn't helpful either. After wasting two full days on this, I'm finished with Epson and their products altogether.

Epson's warranty replacement process sent me three different refurbished units over several months, each one failing with its own problem like WiFi troubles or connection errors. After pushing back, their customer relations team finally approved a brand new replacement on late November. The catch? They have zero inventory and no timeline for when stock might show up. They asked me to check back in mid-December. When I called, still no stock available. After spending an hour on the phone, they basically said the only option left is another refurbished unit, which I've already rejected multiple times because those keep failing on me. It looks like this model might be discontinued anyway. Since I need a working printer for my job, I've been stuck without functioning equipment despite being well within my warranty and doing everything Epson asked.
