This is a complete rip off with hidden monthly billing. I went in to pick up a mug my kid wanted that isn't even dishwasher safe and seems questionable for health reasons. The person at the register mentioned a rewards club that would send emails about deals and upcoming specials. Before I knew it, they started billing me every month for a membership. The location I visited has since shut down. The charge started at eleven ninety nine monthly for the first couple times, then jumped to thirteen ninety nine. That's expensive for basically nothing.

The employees are rude, dismissive, and completely disrespectful across the board. Nobody knows how to handle basic responsibilities. No one has decent communication or people skills working there. Everything feels unprofessional and incompetent. Look at what shows up on the Better Business Bureau website to see for yourself. It's genuinely one of the worst operations around.

This place used to be the go to destination for movies and music. Now the stores mainly focus on selling collectibles and geek merchandise instead of functioning as actual video retailers. The film and music selection has gotten much smaller and worse. Check out what others say online about their return policies too. Skip the backstage membership entirely. The price isn't justified given how limited their catalog is these days. If you get it anyway, cancel before the free period finishes.

I contacted their customer service department about the unwanted charges, but they refused to issue a refund claiming it's in their policy. Even after I told them to stop, the charges kept hitting my bank account monthly. You will lose money if you join this program. Stay away!!

Extremely disappointed with the backstage pass subscription. I joined on Black Friday with the understanding that I could stop anytime before the holidays arrived. The sales rep told me I'd get the first month for free and just needed to ring them before that period ended to stop. When I called the customer service line about a week before the holidays to cancel, the representative pushed back hard, even suggesting they could lower my rate instead. After I refused again, she abruptly said she'd stop the service and ended the conversation with no confirmation or receipt. That should have been my warning sign. I still got charged twelve dollars at the end of December and again in January after supposedly canceling. When I phoned back today to handle it properly and cancel with verification, they still won't refund me. According to them, there's no record of my earlier cancellation call. Would I honestly make this up? Never had this issue before and won't forget it. They've lost my loyalty along with whoever manages their billing system. On top of that, the magazines they enrolled me in are also charging monthly fees. I've spent far more than I ever would have saved.
