Fathead Savings Hacks

Fathead Reviews
Fathead is rated 1.3 out of 5 by 6 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing significant dissatisfaction. The most consistent complaints center on poor customer service, particularly slow or unresponsive email communication, which appears to be the only contact method available. Shoppers report receiving custom orders with substantial quality issues including color chipping, bleeding lines, smudges, and incorrect designs. Multiple reviewers describe misleading claims about custom proofs and difficulty obtaining shipping information or explanations about delays, with some orders taking three and a half weeks or longer without status updates.
The few positive mentions focus on the website's ease of use for placing orders, though even satisfied aspects are overshadowed by fulfillment and support failures. Shoppers report that when quality problems occur, Fathead offers only gift cards rather than meaningful resolutions. While the company markets itself as US-based manufacturing, reviewers indicate this positioning has contributed to disappointment given the service gaps. Notably, no five-star reviews were submitted, and only one three-star review acknowledged any redeeming qualities.
One star feels like I'm being too nice. You're basically dealing with automated responses instead of actual people, which just creates endless frustrating loops. To make matters worse, my order arrived completely wrong.
The customer service here left a lot to be desired. Our prints came back with quality issues like chipped color areas, bleeding lines, and dark smudges on white parts. When we tried to resolve it, they basically said tough luck and offered a gift card instead. We ordered a simple logo with text underneath, but they printed the words in a white box rather than as separate letters. That's not what our original file showed at all. After sending six separate emails asking for solutions, they wouldn't budge. The only thing they'd give us was store credit, but honestly the quality was so poor we didn't want to order from them again. This might work fine for a one-time party decoration, but if you need something that'll look good on your wall for years, go somewhere else. I'd suggest finding a real printing shop that actually stands behind their work.
I have to say the same thing everyone else is saying: skip Fathead for custom work. They made it sound like custom orders automatically get a proof, but then said that wasn't the case after I got my order. More importantly, the fact that they looked at what they printed and thought it was acceptable is baffling. I should've checked third party reviews first, so I share some blame here. But I'm definitely not going back.
Their customer service is a nightmare! I really wanted to support a US-based manufacturer, but I'm regretting that decision. Placed an order over three weeks ago for 15 custom pieces for a volleyball team event, and I can't get any shipping information or responses to my emails. Email is literally the only way to contact them. At this point I'm seriously considering canceling and fighting for my refund of over $400. I won't be coming back to them.
We're past three and a half weeks and my custom items still haven't shown up. They won't even tell me whether they'll arrive before my event. Really disappointed, especially since they market themselves as made in the USA.
The website made it easy to place my order, which was nice. But I paid extra for faster shipping and nine days later the order still showed as unfulfilled. I reached out to their support team. Update from a few days later: they got back to me and offered a refund. Update again: I finally got my Fathead product, though by then I really needed it sooner. The good news is they did refund me and sent an apology.
