About Princess Cruises
Princess Cruises offers cruise vacations and vacation packages to destinations worldwide. Shoppers seek promo codes and discounts to reduce the cost of cruise bookings, which represent significant travel investments. Using a coupon code at checkout can provide meaningful savings on these premium travel experiences.
How to Use a Princess Cruises Promo Code
- Visit princess.com and browse available cruise itineraries and vacation packages.
- Select your desired cruise or package and proceed to the booking page.
- Enter your promo code in the designated coupon field during the checkout process.
- Verify that the discount has been applied to your total before completing payment.
- Finish your purchase and confirm your booking details via email.
Promo Code Not Working? Try This
- The code may have expired or reached its usage limit, so check the offer details for validity dates before applying it.
- Some promo codes apply only to specific cruise destinations or travel dates, so verify eligibility requirements match your selection.
- The code might be restricted to new customers or returning customers only, so ensure your account type qualifies.
- Promotional codes cannot always be combined with other discounts, so review terms to confirm no conflicting offers are active.
- Entering the code with extra spaces or incorrect capitalization can prevent it from working, so type it carefully.
- Contact Princess Cruises customer service directly if a valid code still fails to apply during checkout.
Princess Cruises Savings Hacks
Booking your cruise further in advance often unlocks lower base fares, which you can then enhance with an applicable promo code for additional savings.
RetailCoupons.com currently lists 18 active offers for Princess Cruises, many with promo codes, so visiting frequently helps you catch time-limited deals before they expire.
Different promo codes apply to different voyage dates and cabin types, so reading the full terms ensures you select a code that maximizes savings on your specific cruise choice.
Applying a percentage discount promo code to your base fare, then purchasing cabin upgrades afterward, may result in better overall savings than bundling everything together.
Princess Cruises Shipping Policy
Princess Cruises does not charge shipping for cruise bookings since travel documents and onboarding information are delivered digitally or at embarkation. Vacation packages may include transportation arrangements such as flights or transfers, with delivery terms varying by package type and destination.
Princess Cruises Returns & Refund Policy
Cruise and vacation package cancellations are typically subject to Princess Cruises' cancellation policy, which varies based on how far in advance you cancel before your departure date. Review the specific terms at the time of booking, as policies may differ by cruise length, itinerary, and promotional rate type.

Princess Cruises Reviews
Princess Cruises receives sharply divided reviews that split almost evenly between highly satisfied long-term customers and deeply frustrated first-time or recent guests. Loyal customers who have cruised with Princess for a decade or more consistently praise the friendliness and helpfulness of staff members, noting that the company handles problems well when they arise. However, a significant portion of reviewers report serious issues with customer service, including unresponsive support channels, broken promises about paid upgrades like priority boarding, lack of empathy from the Captains Circle program, and difficulty obtaining medical documentation and filing claims. Common complaints center on slow response times, staff who seem indifferent to customer concerns, and the need to repeatedly submit the same information to resolve issues.
The most troubling pattern across negative reviews involves accessibility and disability accommodations, with at least one reviewer noting that customer service staff appeared dismissive when handling a case involving vision problems. Prospective cruisers should be aware that while Princess has a strong retention rate among loyal customers, the company appears to struggle significantly with onboarding new guests, honoring advertised perks, and providing responsive customer support when issues arise.
I wish I could give this zero stars. I paid extra for a reserve collection mini suite to celebrate a special occasion, and the website clearly promised priority boarding and disembarking. That turned out to be completely false. When we showed up at Southampton Terminal, I spent hours waiting around trying to get on the Sky Princess. After asking staff about it, they told me we didn't actually have priority boarding, even though I had the printed benefits right there in my hands. They basically told me to deal with it once I got on the ship. If you're considering the Reserve Collection mini suite, don't count on getting the early boarding they advertise. This was a huge letdown for my first Princess cruise and honestly needs to be fixed.
Really disappointed with the customer service I got from the UK Captains Circle program. The staff showed no empathy or understanding whatsoever, and they completely forgot the basics about putting the customer first. It was such a bad experience that I'm planning to use a different cruise line next time.
The service was absolutely terrible. Their customer support is basically nonexistent. We misplaced a bag in our cabin and filed a report, but heard nothing back for weeks. When they finally got back to us, they asked us to fill out the same form again. I'm a person with disabilities and have vision problems, and they seemed to be making light of my situation rather than actually helping.
We've cruised with Princess for the past ten years or so and have had wonderful experiences overall. Sure, sometimes things don't go perfectly, but the staff has always been friendly and willing to help fix problems. Special thanks to Ellie in Guest Relations who just recently helped us resolve several issues from our previous voyage. Ellie, you're absolutely wonderful and we can't thank you enough for your support.
We've been loyal Princess customers for about a decade and our time with them has been really solid overall. Of course, there are occasional hiccups, but their team has always come through with friendly service and quick solutions. Huge shout out to Ellie from the Guest Relations team who recently helped us work through some problems from our last trip. She went above and beyond and made things right. Ellie, you're absolutely fantastic and we really appreciate everything you did for us.
I contacted Princess before the holidays asking for medical documentation from something that happened during an event on a ship in July. They told me I needed to complete a post cruise form to get the records I needed for an insurance appeal that I'd already submitted before the holidays. When I called customer service, the rep basically said 'you'll get it when you get it.' I then emailed the VP of Guest Relations on January 6th and never heard back. I also tried reaching out to the company president the next week and either my email didn't go through or got blocked. We're running out of time to appeal the insurance company's decision. Princess doesn't seem to care about customers who've been with them for years. At this point I'm seriously questioning whether I'll cruise with them again.
I booked a Mexican Riviera cruise and paid the full amount back in November for a February departure. Out of nowhere, Princess called me up saying I didn't qualify for the promotion they had advertised (this was the first I was hearing about any problem). They tried to downgrade me from a balcony cabin to an inside cabin, which I absolutely refused. Princess charged my account in full without raising any red flags back in November. Now, just a month before we're supposed to board, they want to take away what I paid for. Is this something they're legally allowed to do?
I've taken a bunch of Princess cruises over the years and honestly they've been great every single time. The ships are spotless and you're always seeing crew members working to keep things clean. The staff is friendly, professional, and always courteous to guests. My cabin was comfortable and always kept neat and made up nicely. They've got loads of dining options including traditional restaurants, a buffet, a specialty pizza place called Alfredos, Crown Grill where they do excellent steaks, Sabatini's Italian restaurant, plus a cafe open around the clock. Bars and lounges are everywhere you look. The entertainment is diverse and really well done. I've sailed with Princess twenty-three times and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.
I've been on tons of Princess cruises and I really can't praise them enough. The ships are always super clean with crew members constantly tidying up throughout the day. Everyone who works for them is genuinely friendly, acts professionally, and treats you with respect. Our cabin was really nice, always made up and kept tidy. They have so many different places to eat including the traditional main dining rooms, the buffet, a specialty pizza joint called Alfredos, the Crown Grill for steaks, Sabatini's for Italian food, and an all-day cafe. There are also tons of bars and lounges scattered throughout the ship. The shows and activities are well done and really appeal to different tastes. I've done twenty-three cruises with Princess and I'd strongly encourage anyone to book with them.
I want to say thank you to Isabel at Princess Cruises for being so kind and understanding when I talked to her about a personal concern I had about my upcoming cruise. She really listened and helped put my mind at ease. We're so excited about the trip now.
We just got home from our first time cruising with Princess and it was absolutely perfect in every way. Our balcony cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The food and beverages throughout the week were wonderful. Every single crew member we met was helpful and had such a positive attitude. Would definitely suggest Princess to anyone thinking about a cruise vacation.
Our whole family had the time of our lives on the Enchanted Princess for a ten-day Canary Islands getaway. It was absolutely brilliant. Room service came to our cabin complimentary, which my teenage boy thought was cool, and we sat in hot tubs watching movies under the stars most evenings. The dining was seriously top notch with things like lobster and beef Wellington prepared at the highest level. Beyond the main dining rooms, the World Marketplace had tons of different options for people who like casual eating. They had an impressive selection of beverages behind the bar, and the Medallion system on the wrist beat carrying a card around. We splurged on the drinks package and felt like we got our money's worth. We liked it so much that we just booked the Sky Princess for a fourteen night cruise in spring 2022. Brilliant experience all around.
Had an amazing 13-day Caribbean experience on Caribbean Princess back in spring 2022. We stayed in a balcony cabin on the aft section and everything was fantastic. The meals were outstanding from start to finish, and the Medallion system worked perfectly once we got onboard and logged in with our cabin details. The crew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We didn't get to visit Princess Cays because of rough seas, but that's just how cruising goes sometimes. Definitely would love to sail with Princess again without hesitation. This was our first cruise with them and we're already planning the next one.
I wanted to give props to Jacob from the Southampton customer service team. I chatted with him earlier and he helped me fix a name mistake on my booking. He got everything sorted out really quickly, explained exactly what we'd need to bring to the terminal, and even gave us some helpful tips about one of our ports. He was super friendly and definitely gave us better service than the travel agency we originally booked through. Thanks so much Jacob.
I have to give Princess Cruises major credit for how they handled things. I had a transatlantic cruise booked for late April 2020 but it got cancelled due to the pandemic shutting everything down. Princess immediately refunded all my prepaid shore excursions and then gave me two options for getting my cruise fare back. I picked the second option, which meant a full refund plus an extra credit toward a future booking as compensation for the inconvenience. It took about twelve weeks, but I ended up getting my money back plus my travel insurance reimbursement covered. I understand the process took time because they were dealing with thousands of passengers all needing refunds at once. When you think about the size of their fleet and how many people that represents, it's a huge undertaking. Other major cruise lines like Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, and others only offered future cruise credits, not actual cash refunds. Princess actually gave customers real money back, which says a lot about their commitment to doing right by people. I've been on other cruise lines before, but honestly Princess treated us so much better that I'm going to stick with them.
