I'm a huge fan of Oroton bags and have quite a few in my collection, but my recent experience trying to return an item was awful. When I tried to exchange a bag I'd purchased for over $220 because the color wasn't right, the staff refused and wouldn't work with me. The team there was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Now I'm stuck with something I'm not happy with and it's frustrating that they wouldn't help out a loyal customer.

I've made multiple purchases from Oroton, both shopping in their stores and ordering online. Their online shopping experience has been fantastic - items arrived quickly and the products are exactly what I expected. Really satisfied with how they handle everything.

I've shopped at Oroton for years as a loyal customer, but I'm done after my latest experience. I spent $400 on a handbag that started deteriorating after just over a year of light use. The handle piping started coming apart, which shouldn't happen with a product at this price point, especially in an area that gets frequent contact. I've owned $30 bags that lasted longer. When I reached out to their support team, they basically told me it was normal wear and tear and suggested I pay out of pocket to have it repaired by someone else. A brand that touts quality craftsmanship should stand behind their work. What really bothered me is that Oroton doesn't publish warranty information - they say they evaluate each situation individually, which is clearly just how they avoid responsibility. The quality has definitely gone downhill. Don't waste your money here.

Be careful with their fine print and leather quality. During Black Friday in 2024, I grabbed some sale items but the shirts didn't fit right - the photos made it hard to see that there were slits on the sides showing skin, especially when tucked in. When I tried to return them, they said no refunds on sale items, only exchanges. Even for an exchange they refused because the products were back at regular price. I was shocked - I order from other retailers all the time during sales and returns are no problem. I was forced to keep them and buy other stuff I didn't really want. I also got a black leather clutch with a wrist strap and the craftsmanship is awful. You can see exposed glue inside near the zipper. It won't last. For the price I paid, I've seen much better quality for a fraction of the cost. Their customer service was nasty and condescending. Avoid this company.

I'm very disappointed with the belt I purchased. After just a couple months, the coating started peeling off and now it looks terrible and isn't wearable. When I contacted the company, they said their warranty period had already ended and weren't able to help. This was an important purchase for me and I expected better durability from a belt at that price. I won't be buying from them again.

Worst customer experience ever with them. I ordered two items and one came back as out of stock. They just refunded that one item without asking if I wanted to exchange it for something else, swap it for a different item, or cancel the whole order. I'd used a promotional code on the purchase and now I can't use it again since it got wasted because of their inventory problem. Their support team doesn't seem to have any process in place to actually help customers when something goes wrong. Their online shopping is basically a scam. There are way better alternatives out there like Coach, Kate Spade, and others that are pricier but give you actual customer support. Don't recommend buying from them.

Wish I'd looked at reviews first before ordering online. I bought 6 items and right away 2 got refunded because they weren't available - who's managing their inventory? The four that showed up were okay, but 2 of them came in a completely different shade than what I saw on the website. I spent forever chatting with customer service trying to explain this. They offered a refund but said I'd have to pay for return shipping, which costs way more than the refund itself. Their website inventory is a mess and they're making customers pay to fix their mistakes. Skip the online store.

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered a beautiful black leather crossbody bag late at night and it was on my doorstep by 9 the next morning, just two days later, all the way from Sydney to here. The bag looks exactly like the pictures and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Great job on the fast shipping!

They're playing games with prices. I was in the store and saw a bag marked down with a sticker on it. I went home to think about it and decided to go back the next day when they had an additional 40% off sale going. But when I returned, they'd stripped all the old markdown stickers and put the bag back at full price. Shows you exactly what kind of business practices they use. Won't shop there again.

Terrible experience ordering online. I purchased a handbag for around $320 and got an order confirmation, but then they emailed saying it was out of stock - even though they'd already charged me. Days kept going by and no refund. Nine days later and still nothing. This is dishonest and I'm really concerned about whether I'll actually get my money back.

I don't shop there super often because of the price, maybe grabbing a few things every couple years, but every single thing I've bought from them has been great. Nothing I've purchased has disappointed me and I actually use everything I get.

I've visited the local store multiple times and the staff there are wonderful - they really go out of their way to help. The manager and team were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The linen pieces I picked up are beautiful and I also grabbed a couple of leather bags that have held up great. I'll definitely be shopping there again.

I ordered a bag and two pairs of earrings online with 2-day delivery guaranteed. They didn't arrive on time and the company never reached out to explain or even respond to my emails. The site kept saying the order was awaiting fulfillment. I emailed multiple times with no reply. Then one pair of earrings showed as out of stock, so I asked them to help me modify the order to get two pairs instead of one. Still nothing. I tried calling and got voicemail, then finally got an email response about their issues with receiving my messages instead of addressing my actual delivery and order problems. I sent them copies of all my emails asking why they weren't dealing with my concerns, and that got ignored too. Eventually they did contact me and worked out a solution that works, so at least there's that. The whole process was frustrating but the final outcome was acceptable. Starting as a really negative situation, it did get resolved in the end.

Products are really good quality and the sale prices were great. Shipping was super fast too.
