K&N Savings Hacks
Sign up for K&N's mailing list to receive exclusive subscriber offers, then combine them with seasonal promotions visible on RetailCoupons.com for maximum savings on bulk filter orders.
Since filters require regular replacement, buying multiple units or cases at once often triggers volume discounts that outpace single item promo codes.
K&N's offers rotate regularly through affiliate programs, so visiting this page often ensures you catch new deals before they expire.
When K&N runs free shipping promotions, time your larger filter purchases to maximize the savings across your entire cart.
K&N filters are vehicle and application specific, so double check part numbers and fitment details to avoid return hassles and ensure your discount applies to the correct product.
K&N Shipping Policy

Most home improvement and appliance retailers offer standard ground shipping, with expedited options available for an additional fee.
K&N Returns & Refund Policy
K&N's return process and eligibility depend on the product condition and original purchase date. Check the store's return policy page before or after purchase to understand the timeframe and any restocking fees that may apply to filters and related items.

K&N Reviews
K&N filters receive polarized reviews, with shoppers either highly satisfied or significantly disappointed. Those giving top ratings praise the company's customer service responsiveness and warranty support, citing representatives who are knowledgeable and helpful in resolving issues. Long-time customers appreciate the durability and longevity of the filters themselves, with some reporting products lasting over a decade with proper maintenance.
Negative reviews center on three main issues: manufacturing defects including loose plastic chunks and protruding metal wires inside filters that require manual removal before installation, unresponsive customer support through contact forms and email despite prompt phone service, and technical problems with the website that prevent orders from completing or discount codes from being applied. Several shoppers also reported inventory discrepancies, being charged for items listed as in stock that were later unavailable. The stark rating split suggests quality control and operational issues are deterring repeat business despite positive experiences with direct phone support.
Just bought a K&N air filter for my new Honda Monkey 125 and I'm really let down by the quality. There were chunks of leftover plastic sticking out from the injection molding process around the inside of the filter that I had to manually scrape off. I also found metal wires poking out that needed cutting. The plastic pieces were loose enough that they could've gotten sucked straight into my engine since they were on the intake side. The handle on this model snapped before I even installed it. I've bought K&N products before without any issues, but this one's quality control was terrible. Especially frustrating given what these filters cost. I'll eventually need to run it and hope it works fine, but I'm definitely not happy about it.
Called customer service on a Wednesday afternoon and Katherine picked up. Getting a warranty replacement has never been this simple with any product I've owned. I've been running K&N gear since I started driving two decades ago and this was my first problem. Thanks to Katherine's knowledge, helpfulness, and professionalism, I'm more committed to K&N than ever. Great service experience.
K&N's going to lose tons of customers if they keep ignoring contact forms and tech support emails on their site. I've sent three messages and haven't gotten a single response. I've bought from them for years but that's changing now. The CM1314 cylinder filter I purchased for my Can Am Spyder had excess rubber around the inside edge from the mold. I trimmed it down with a knife as close as I could get it. My worry was whether other rubber pieces could flake off inside the filter and get pulled into the engine, which would be really bad. I just wanted K&N to reassure me it wouldn't be an issue. Sent a message through their Contact Us page and waited over a week with nothing. Tried emailing their tech support address twice more and included photos, still nothing.
Ordered an air filter that showed as in stock and got charged right away. Radio silence for six days until I finally emailed to check on things. Their response was basically that they're swamped and would ship it whenever. Two days later a refund showed up with no explanation or follow-up message. Checked the website and saw it was marked out of stock. Still haven't heard a word from them about what went wrong.
The filters themselves are solid, but ordering from their website is a headache. There seem to be serious bugs with how the site functions. Shipping costs don't calculate during checkout so you can't actually complete your order. I see discounts available on their main site but can't use them because of all the technical problems. Ended up ordering through Amazon and skipping the deal.
They truly stand behind their products and I'm grateful for that. Called them with questions about warranty on an air filter from my used motorcycle. When I first got that bike in 2009, a K&N filter was the first thing I installed. Here we are in 2024 and the filter media finally started deteriorating. Every spring I've cleaned it for summer riding. Explained all this to them and they mailed me a replacement with absolutely no hassle. Best part is they paid for shipping too, which caught me off guard. I'm committed to using their filters exclusively going forward.
Been a loyal customer and plan to stay that way. Reached out about warranty coverage for an air filter on my motorcycle. I grabbed the bike used back in 2009 and immediately swapped in a K&N filter. Fast forward to 2024 and the filter media started breaking down. I've been cleaning it every spring before riding season without fail. When I called to explain the situation, they surprised me by sending a replacement with zero questions. They even covered shipping, which I totally didn't expect. K&N has earned my business for the long haul. These filters are all I'll be using from now on.
They shipped me the wrong size wiper blades and then want me to pay for return shipping. Won't be ordering from K&N anymore.
Hands down the worst customer service I've dealt with. Their only goal is grabbing your money and then they disappear when you actually need help. Not returning to K&N ever again.
Avoid this company at all costs. I've got hundreds of dollars tied up in my account after sending back two items over three months. Ordered a cabin filter and an intake but they shipped an air filter and intake instead. When the intake arrived it was defective and they acknowledged that too, plus it didn't fit right. I returned everything and my refund never came through. Their phone support can answer calls but can't actually fix anything.
Their customer service is nonexistent and they clearly don't care. You won't get responses to your inquiries.
Disappointed with how K&N has handled things recently. I've been using their oil filters, air filters, and intake systems for over a decade across multiple cars. Placed a new order with priority shipping but it sat unshipped for more than five business days. Had conversations with three different reps and couldn't get a straight answer about the delay. The only useful feedback was someone saying we messed up, it's going tomorrow. Look, I understand lots of companies are struggling to get back on track after the pandemic, but K&N clearly hasn't figured it out and nobody there seems interested in fixing it. I'm also worried this might be a sign of quality issues with their current products. In my view, customer service can make or break a company fast. When every interaction gives you the same runaround, that's a problem.
Spent a lot of money on an induction kit only to discover it had a major air leak in the piping. Tried getting help by emailing them four separate times and got absolutely nothing back. Reached out on social media too but my messages got deleted and ignored. Complete lack of response and support. Had to file a chargeback with my bank to recover my money.
K&N filters really do work. My truck was running rough during winter startups until my mechanic suggested trying K&N filters. With my pool cleaning business sometimes there's no time to let things warm up properly, but switching to these new filters made a huge difference. Definitely noticing the improvement. This is my go-to choice moving forward.
