Booked a dinner through the app for a really special occasion. It was our shared birthday. I paid a significant amount and tried contacting the host but couldn't reach her. We went to the address provided but couldn't locate the apartment or get through to the host. The dinner never happened and she never replied. Tried reaching the company but their hours don't include evenings or weekends, which doesn't work when most events happen then. Sent complaint emails that went unanswered until finally getting a vague response. Two weeks later I got my money back but no real apology or goodwill offer like a credit. The platform doesn't deliver on its promises.

Ate at a breakfast spot in the station area and was really disappointed. The coffee was terrible and the scrambled eggs with salmon were poor quality for 24 dollars. Not worth the price at all. Plenty of other better options in that location.

This company operates way too close to dishonest practices. First time I tried them, I booked a host who cancelled within minutes, which okay, could happen. But they charged my card and said the refund would take 10 days. Then I booked another host immediately and the same thing happened. They took payment again and promised another 10 day refund. This is risky for customers because they could gradually drain your card with multiple cancellations and return payments super slowly. Definitely proceed with caution.

Got charged twice when an event was cancelled by the host. Can't get the company to respond to emails. Their stated protection plan doesn't actually work because there's no way to file a claim.

The star ratings are particularly confusing because the orange colors are nearly identical, making it hard to tell a five star from a one star rating. Why not make it as obvious as other popular sites do? When I filter by a specific date, I get events that are sold out or don't match my requested date. The map feature isn't helpful. Search results are unclear where they appear. Why would a London search show dinners in other areas? The blue pop up saying bookings auto confirm is pointless when the dinner is already fully booked. Maybe the experiences are worthwhile, but I'm not confident I'll even get to that stage with this frustrating website.

Everyone should check this out because it's the best app for finding local people and having dinner with them. Giving them top marks for such an awesome concept!
