Bought a large 24 piece set at a store that looked gorgeous with black and wooden handles. After a couple months we started noticing black paint smudges on our kitchen towels and even on our dining chairs. Turns out the exterior coating of the pans isn't durable enough and flakes off easily. No receipt left and ended up having to toss the whole set.

Total waste of money. The nonstick coating works okay at first but the bottoms turn gray. You can't get the sides clean no matter what. Mine look filthy even right after washing. Tossed out my first frying pan because it looked so gross and I'm about ready to throw out the rest. Don't buy.

Got a 21 piece set for the holidays. Followed all the instructions carefully and hand washed everything with dish soap. Tried to boil water in one of the small pots and the plastic coating started peeling off. Only had them two weeks. This is the worst cookware I've ever purchased. Save your money and skip it.

Ordered the complete set with cooking utensils for my induction cooktop from abroad and I absolutely adore them. They shipped quickly and arrived well protected, look fantastic and weigh less than expected. They clean up nicely and perform great both on the stovetop and in the oven. Couldn't be happier with the recommendation.

Purchased a cookware set from the brand's website for fifty dollars and haven't received it after a month. I've emailed their support repeatedly but keep getting asked to wait. The most recent message said my email wasn't even able to be delivered.

I purchased a couple of these pans from a regular store and they're fantastic. Decided to buy a full set so I tried ordering from the official website several times. Every order shows a confirmation page promising shipment within 24 hours but nothing actually gets sent. At least I haven't been charged, so that's something. Customer service keeps telling me they'll escalate it to another team but nobody ever follows up and the problem never gets fixed. So frustrating when a company seems determined not to take your money.

These pans have a solid nonstick finish that makes food slide right off and cleanup is quick. They're surprisingly light and easy to maneuver. The build quality holds up well. The ceramic coating is safe with no harmful chemicals, perfect if you care about what you cook with.

It's been a month since I placed my order and still no cookware. I've sent multiple emails to their support team but they keep ignoring me.

UPDATE: The company reconsidered after I left this review and sent out a replacement, so I'm bumping my rating up to 3 stars. I purchased a Carote pan and after a few uses the handle broke off from the pan itself. I contacted their support team asking about getting a replacement handle and after a few back and forth messages where I sent photos, they responded that their warranty only covers manufacturing defects, and they don't cover damage from normal use or handling, like a handle snapping while using it. Apparently just using the pan normally and the handle detaching while gripping it doesn't qualify for a replacement according to them. You'd think there had to be a manufacturing issue to begin with for the handle to break. Any legitimate company would simply send a replacement handle. Not impressed. Would avoid if possible.

Received an ivory set for the holidays and my initial excitement faded quickly. After less than 3 months of use they're scratched, stained, and pulling out of the dishwasher covered in a gray and black residue that's staining my cabinets. I wipe it off but it appears again after every wash. It seems to be coming from something in the handles, lids, or pan bottoms. The residue is concerning to me so I'm going to replace this set with one I trust.

Got a beige cookware set as a wedding gift and it's already in rough shape. After just a year of normal use it looks burnt and heavily stained, though things got noticeably worse starting around the six month mark. I'm holding onto my current set and delaying buying replacements because I'm hesitant about getting the same brand again.

We got a white set with bamboo handles and lids. After about five weeks of cooking the lower portion of the handles that face the flame got scorched and looked terrible. The insides of the white pans also got heavily stained. It's actually a beautiful set visually but has real design problems because the handles sit so low they catch fire on our gas range, and the staining is severe even when you're cautious. I contacted support and they quickly offered to replace it and sent a new set in three days, which arrived as promised. I'm giving three stars because their customer service response was surprisingly good, but I won't buy again. The product just doesn't hold up.

Ordered two Carote cookware sets through a retailer and when they arrived, one came packaged properly and the other showed up without any handles. I reached out to the seller who connected me with the manufacturer. After exchanging several emails where I provided photos of the unboxed set and specified I needed 2 handles, the communication basically went nowhere. Two weeks passed without hearing anything, so I followed up asking for an update. The response asked me to clarify how many handles I needed, even though I'd already explained this multiple times with evidence. At that point I decided it wasn't worth the hassle and sent both sets back.

I've been really impressed with how these pans perform. The small frying pan was so good I bought the larger one with a lid next. I went with the nonstick option in white granite that's PFOA free and works on any cooktop type, then added the large saute pan with a lid. Considering getting the full set. They have a high end appearance, cook beautifully, no harmful chemicals in the coating, need almost no oil, and nothing sticks. While they can't go in the dishwasher, they clean so effortlessly by hand that it's not an issue. Really happy with them.
