For something less than a pound, that's nuts. It'd help if more items were available on Amazon. I won't order here with shipping that expensive.

My experience with Steambow has been really solid. I'm loving the M10 and they ship pretty quick. I browse their site regularly to check out new stuff. The product and service have both been good. Recently grabbed some extra strings for my 75 pound and 120 Magnum limbs, picked up their new Red Dot sight, and ordered a set of 30 heavy steel Bodkin bolts. I'd tell anyone getting into crossbows to check them out, whether it's for security, sport, or hunting. These compact repeating crossbows have tons of cool features and versatility. Just gave my buddy an AR-6 Stinger II compact crossbow pistol as a gift. He loves it and can't wait to use it more. I let him try it out on a target and also showed him my M10 for comparison. It was cool seeing him get excited about it. Hoping we can hunt together someday at our local club. These Steambow crossbows would be perfect for that.

I've never experienced this kind of support from any business. I was blown away and felt confident about my whole purchase with the extras. This company really stands behind what they sell with warranties and backing. I reached out to another company called Gogun before this to ask about products, and they gave me a short answer then vanished. They weren't helpful and only cared about closing sales, not answering questions. Steambow is the real deal when it comes to service, reliability, quality and gear.
