What Shoppers Say About Boka
Boka is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 20 shoppers, with the vast majority of reviews citing serious problems. The most frequent complaints center on unresponsive customer service, difficulty canceling subscriptions, and refusal to disclose product ingredient percentages (particularly nano-hydroxyapatite content in their toothpaste). Shoppers report being blocked from customer service interactions, receiving unwanted subscription shipments they cannot cancel, and receiving vague corporate responses to direct ingredient questions. Some reviewers also note dental or health issues after using the products.
A small number of satisfied customers report positive experiences with product quality and note that customer service replaced damaged items without issue. These reviewers appreciate the fluoride-free and SLS-free formulation. However, positive feedback is significantly outweighed by complaints about transparency, subscription management, and accessibility of customer support.

Sorted by: Most recentThis was a really bad experience. They made us wait 45 minutes before even taking our order, then almost two hours for the food to arrive. The steak was honestly one of the worst I've ever had. The whole service was pretty disappointing.
Don't buy from this company! I'd rate them zero if I could. I simply asked about their ingredient list and they blocked me from messaging. Never dealt with customer service this bad. Now I can't even return what I bought or get my money back because they won't talk to me. Complete scam!
Their customer service basically doesn't exist. It's nearly impossible to cancel a subscription with this company. The process they tell you about doesn't match what actually happens and I'm pretty sure they're not sending the password reset email like they claim. I've got three months of product I didn't want sitting around. Every month when it auto-renewed, I'd email to cancel. Never worked. Sent multiple cancellation requests that went nowhere. Finally just removed my credit card from the account - hopefully that does the trick since their system clearly won't.
Reached out asking what percentage of nano-hydroxyapatite their toothpaste actually contains - it's their main selling point after all. They refused to say, claiming trade secrets, and gave me corporate jargon instead. Other brands have no problem telling you they use 10% or more. The fact that they won't be straight up about this is a red flag. If transparency and actual effectiveness matter to you, look at companies that are honest about their ingredients.
I really wish I could love this brand more. Been using the mint flavor for four months through Amazon to avoid subscription hassles. My oral health has actually gotten worse though - got tonsil stones this week and never had that problem in my life, even with other brands. Pretty disappointed overall.
Really happy with this product. Got it specifically because it doesn't have fluoride or sodium lauryl sulfate. Usually buy the 3-pack and had one incident where 2 tubes arrived damaged, but they replaced the whole thing with a fresh 3-pack no questions asked. Customer service was great. My teeth are naturally sensitive and haven't had any issues since switching from major brands.
Worst experience ever! Used their toothpaste briefly then stopped. Found out I was being charged every quarter for almost 2 years on an auto-renewal I never signed up for, and the products never even arrived. I filed disputes with my credit card company and got those fraudulent charges reversed. Tried canceling via email (no phone support available) and they said it was done. Wrong again - got charged a few days later and two mint tubes showed up that I didn't order. Had to contact my bank again and return the toothpaste. Planning to report them if I see any more unauthorized transactions.
Honestly, I'd give zero stars if I could. I've been loyal for over 2 years because we genuinely love the toothpaste - no cavities since we switched. The problem is their customer service is absolutely terrible. No phone number, just robotic email responses that don't help. I placed an order and it's been stuck in a warehouse since late November with no movement. They blame holiday sales but come on. Last order also took forever and arrived damaged. I'm done. The dentist who recommended them is going to hear all about this.
Got their 3-pack and really didn't like 2 of the flavors. They wouldn't accept a return and offered me 10% off a different flavor instead, which was actually less than what's already on their website. They basically told me to just give it away. Total waste of money on my end.
Don't trust this company. Their products are mediocre, support is awful, and their business practices are sketchy. The electric toothbrush died after just a few uses. They asked me to return it, then said they couldn't figure out what the problem was and sent back the exact same broken brush. It barely worked and I eventually threw it out. They kept bugging me to write a positive review on their site. I gave them an honest review - it was balanced but mostly negative - and they never published it. They clearly curate reviews. Also blocked me on Instagram when I left a critical comment. Can't recommend them.
