What Shoppers Say About Fluance Speakers
Fluance Speakers has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with a 1.2 rating based on 5 reviews. The primary complaints center on product reliability issues, with customers reporting speakers developing audio distortion and whining sounds, subwoofers failing within months, and defective units. Beyond product quality, shoppers have experienced significant frustration with customer service, including unresponsive support teams, lengthy replacement processes that involve repeated troubleshooting steps, lack of transparency about import duties and fees at checkout, billing system glitches that result in cancelled orders without proper notification, and inflexible warranty policies that refuse coverage for recalled items with known defects.
Shippers have also reported inadequate packaging for replacement parts, with items arriving unprotected and damaged. Customers describe feeling left without recourse when problems arise, as the company appears slow to respond to inquiries or take responsibility for systemic issues like product recalls. The consistent theme across reviews is a pattern of poor quality control, unresponsive support, and practices that leave buyers bearing the financial burden for the company's failures.

Sorted by: Most recentGot a pair of Ai41 speakers back in October 2022. Fast forward to mid-2023 and they started acting up with this loud whine and distorted audio. Fluance did eventually replace them, but only after making me try a bunch of troubleshooting steps like swapping cables and connectors multiple times. The whole process took weeks. Well, the replacement set failed the same way just recently, which is still under two years but just barely outside their coverage window. We went through all the same troubleshooting again and even did a factory reset, nothing worked. Since I'm just outside the warranty period, they basically told me to find a repair shop or buy new speakers. As a customer, I can't recommend this company. They make you jump through endless hoops and their support team has absolutely zero flexibility, even when you're just slightly past the warranty date.
Word to the wise: if you're ordering a stylus replacement from Fluance, don't expect it to arrive safely. Mine came in a plastic mailer with zero protection, the cover was off, and the whole thing was just bouncing around inside. For the price of this item, that's completely unacceptable and frankly sloppy. I've seen other people online mention the same problem happening to them. Save yourself the hassle and buy your stylus elsewhere from a retailer that actually knows how to pack fragile items properly.
Terrible experience with this company. I bought a turntable through a marketplace and the checkout never said anything about import duties, showing zero cost for them. Then when my order landed, I was hit with an extra $150 charge on top of the $225 purchase price and $112 shipping. Their support team won't respond to my emails, and the one reply I got felt like it came from an automated bot. It's been two weeks and I still don't have my item. Based on the policy, I should get a refund for this delay but they're not budging. I called the retailer and found out Fluance has tons of complaints against them as a seller. All in all, I'm out around $500 for something I never even received. Steer clear of this company.
I placed an order for speakers and got a confirmation number right away. About 12 days later, I noticed my payment method was showing a temporary authorization hold. I reached out to customer service to ask what was going on. The next day they responded saying there was a glitch in their billing system and they'd cancelled my order, but nobody bothered to tell me directly and my payment service never flagged anything either. I've purchased from them in the past, but this kind of experience means I'm done shopping with them.
Bought a DB12 subwoofer that stopped working after just a couple months. When I reached out for help, the company refused to replace it since I was a few days outside the warranty window. Then it turns out they issued a recall on this exact model because of a defect, which was probably what caused mine to fail. I contacted them again thinking this would change things, but they still wouldn't help me out because I'd already sent the unit back. This is really frustrating. If the product wasn't defective, they wouldn't have done a recall in the first place.
