YAY Images Reviews
What Shoppers Say About YAY Images
YAY Images is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 17 shoppers, with reviews sharply divided between five-star and one-star ratings. The primary complaint from negative reviewers centers on the company's partnership with Copytrack, a copyright enforcement service. One-star reviewers report receiving what they characterize as fraudulent or excessive copyright infringement notices and payment demands, even when they claim to have legitimate licenses obtained from the platform or competing stock image sites. Multiple reviewers describe the enforcement tactics as predatory, harassing, and potentially extortionate, with some noting that providing proof of legitimate licensing has not stopped the demands.
Positive reviews are present but not detailed in available excerpts. The stark rating distribution (65 percent five-star, 35 percent one-star, zero middle ratings) suggests sharply polarized customer experiences. Shoppers considering YAY Images should be aware of the documented concerns about copyright enforcement practices and the potential for legal demands, particularly if they plan to use images across multiple platforms or have existing licenses from other sources.

Sorted by: Most recentThis company operates in an utterly unethical way alongside copytrack. It's shocking they haven't faced legal action given how many people online report the same predatory tactics. They advertise images as free then pursue you for copyright violations afterward.
My recommendation is to steer clear of buying images or videos here. Their copytrack connection means you'll face constant threats and warnings regardless of whether your license is legit or not.
Over and over and over they keep sending fraudulent copyright notices. It's harassment plain and simple. Using copytrack to file bogus infringement claims and extort money is textbook scamming.
Got hit with a payment demand from Copytrack over an image I legally obtained through a separate platform (Envato in this case). Even after showing proof of my legitimate license, it's unclear whether Copytrack will respect that and back off. You've really damaged your company's credibility by partnering with what amounts to a copyright troll operation.
They're accusing us of unlicensed use of an image on our site, claiming it's been there since early 2021. The thing is, we bought that exact image back in 2013 from a different stock site. Want me to send an invoice for all the hours spent tracking down proof? My advice: skip this and go with alternatives like depositphotos or bigstockphotos instead.
This is a scam operation that sends out copyright demand letters asking for cash. Avoid it completely.
Haven't found a better site than this one. Images are sharp and deliver real value for what you pay.
Nice variety with helpful support staff. They're quick to answer when you reach out and the policies are laid out clearly.
