We're regulars at the Papa John's near us and always have a great experience. It's conveniently located and has a nice atmosphere. The staff member who helped us last time was fantastic. He pulled up our info right away and already knew what we typically order. What a sharp guy. We got half the pizza with jalapenos and the other half loaded with mushrooms, tomato, onion, and olives plus jalapenos. He had it ready when we arrived and delivered it super fast. That was a thoughtful touch. The manager on duty was also excellent and really made us feel welcome. We really appreciate the great service we receive every time.

Never in my life have I experienced service this poor. Spent over twenty-five dollars on a pizza and left a tip. I have a small house with two big poodles that go absolutely crazy whenever someone walks up. The driver claimed she knocked hard and called me. That absolutely did not happen. My dogs bark at everything that moves. When I called the store, a man named Derek was combative, dismissive, and rude. He refused to apologize, offer any solutions, or take responsibility before hanging up on me. Here's the thing: why would I ignore a delivery when I spent that much money and tipped, especially while sitting in a house with two loud dogs announcing every delivery attempt? That makes zero sense. I contacted chat support, which was pointless. I called customer support and spent way too long on the phone trying to fix it, and they said a manager would reach out that day. I waited. Never got a call. Called back and they told me my case was already closed.

The young lady who helped me was really pleasant and personable.

I've seen their recent TV commercials multiple times and I'm really not impressed with how the workers look in those ads. It makes me question who's actually making the pizza when I order for my family. Not good at all.

Service was terrible at the Banbury location. I ordered around 7:23 PM and didn't get my food until almost 9 PM. The pizza was cold and tough when it finally arrived. The staff was really unhelpful when I tried to complain.

Ordered a meal here last evening and asked for no cheese on my pizza. It showed up with almost no toppings at all. The whole middle section had nothing on it. I asked for a manager and the employee who made it came to our table. I asked why my pizza was so bare and she claimed it's company policy to not put toppings in the center. I said I needed to speak to management. An assistant manager came over and told me the exact same thing. What a load of nonsense. I've never encountered anything this ridiculous. Your own pictures show pizzas completely covered in toppings. Why was mine almost empty? All we tasted was tomato and bread. He said sorry but his hands were tied due to policy. Very disappointed, Papa John's. Your team also needs better hygiene standards. This same employee was wiping down her area, sweeping the floor, and collecting debris in a pan. After that, she made someone else's pizza without ever washing her hands. Absolutely unacceptable. I've visited your restaurants at multiple locations.

I said, your marketing photos show pizzas loaded with toppings, so why is mine practically empty? We could only taste sauce and dough. He apologized but said there was nothing he could do because of policy. Really disappointing, Papa John's. Also, your staff needs food safety training. That same girl was cleaning her work area, sweeping, and collecting dirt in a dustpan. Then she went straight to making another customer's pizza without washing her hands. That's gross. I've eaten at several of your locations.

Got completely overcharged and cheated. Last night I ordered four pizzas using their website promotion for two large pizzas with single toppings for $22.99 each. Three pizzas had stuffed crust with the known upcharge of $4 per pizza, so I anticipated paying around $26.99 and $30.99 total. My actual charges were $32.16 and $42.16. Two were plain cheese, one pepperoni, one with mushrooms. Cheese comes standard on pizza so their argument about additional toppings doesn't make sense. Which one topping was worth an extra $12? My receipt shows the $42.16 went to the cheese and pepperoni pizzas. There's no way to justify this. They owe me $24 minimum before taxes, and we tipped extra because of the overcharge. This happened on Mother's Day when I wanted a break from cooking. They also didn't deliver the soda bottle I ordered, which was the last straw. I won't order from them again.

You'd think with so many terrible reviews on here, Papa John's would at least respond to some of them. But they don't seem to care. I've complained multiple times and corporate never forces the stores to fix anything. It's the same problems every single time. The location in one Georgia area is especially bad. They never cut the pizzas completely through, so I always have to finish the job myself. When I ask for extra sauce, they barely put any on. And they consistently overcook everything.

Just paid 30 euros for a 14 inch pizza and it was hands down the worst pie I've had in years, even worse than what they served in my school cafeteria. The ingredients were all chopped up and clearly the cheapest stuff they could find. The Italian sausage was absolutely inedible, my dog wouldn't even touch it. The only decent part was the crust. This owner needs to take a trip to Italy and figure out what real pizza is.

Stopped by a location on my way back and placed an order. When it came time to pay with cash, they said they quit accepting it. It started during the pandemic but apparently it's staying that way now.
