Hopefully the store chain will eventually understand how much this partnership is actually damaging their brand perception given the consistent failures in the shopping and delivery process. My appointment today kept getting shifted. Originally booked for 4 PM, it got pushed another hour repeatedly throughout the afternoon. The end result was being rescheduled for the following day between 8-9 AM. Fingers crossed that works out. I'm going back to my previous store after this. They use their own cooled transportation and in-house workers, and their delivery track record is solid. Items arrive on schedule and problems are uncommon, though occasionally something arrives a little damaged which is fine. What's unacceptable to me is inconsistency.

Maybe someday that grocery chain will realize that working with this service is actually harming their public image because people keep running into problems with how orders are handled and delivered. Eventually they told me to expect it between 8-9 AM the following morning. We'll have to wait and see if that actually happens. This whole thing has made me decide to go back to my other grocery store. They operate with their own cooling trucks and dedicated employees, so delivery is always on schedule and problems are rare. Occasionally a loaf of bread might get a little beat up, but I can live with that. What I won't accept is unreliability.

They handle deliveries in-house with their own refrigerated vehicles and staff, which means they show up when they say they will. Sure, once in a while something gets squished, but that's not a big deal. What bothers me is when a service just isn't dependable.

My orders show up right when the app says they will. Really happy with how this works and I've told a bunch of people about it.
