Living Social USA Savings Hacks
LivingSocial offers exclusive discounts for selected members. Create or log into an account to unlock additional savings on top of promotional codes where permitted by the store.
Vacation packages and group event tickets often have per-person pricing hidden in the fine print. Always calculate the final per-person cost after applying your code to ensure you are getting the best value.
Experiential deals frequently have blackout dates or limited availability windows. Apply your promo code right away during the booking window that works for your schedule rather than waiting.
Vouchers and event tickets have specific redemption terms and expiration dates that differ from standard returns. Review all conditions and read customer reviews on the specific deal before completing your purchase to avoid disappointment.
Living Social USA Shipping Policy
LivingSocial deals are primarily digital vouchers and electronic tickets rather than physical products. Delivery typically occurs via email immediately after purchase or within a few hours, allowing you to access your voucher or ticket promptly.
Living Social USA Returns & Refund Policy
Return and refund policies for vacation packages and event tickets vary significantly based on the specific vendor and deal terms. Always review the detailed terms and conditions listed with each deal, as many experiential purchases have strict cancellation windows or may be non-refundable.

Living Social USA Reviews
Living Social USA is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 21 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. Reviewers report persistent customer service failures, including complete unresponsiveness to emails and messages, unresponsive vendor partners who fail to show up for services, and difficulty obtaining refunds. Additionally, shoppers cite restrictive return windows that don't account for shipping delays, technical errors that result in duplicate charges, and a general lack of accessible contact methods (no phone number or chat support).
The small number of positive reviews suggests some shoppers have had acceptable experiences, but these are vastly outnumbered by complaints describing what reviewers characterize as scam-like practices. Common issues include payment problems, vendor no-shows on contracted services, and an inability to reach customer service for resolution. Given the overwhelming pattern of unresolved complaints and lack of company responsiveness, potential shoppers should weigh these concerns carefully before making purchases.
Skip this site. I've tried contacting them through messaging and sent 8 emails with zero responses. I paid for goods worth $18 and got nothing. This company is basically stealing from people.
Got a voucher for house power washing back in March 2020 with an appointment set for May 5th. The person never showed up even after confirming the day before. We rescheduled three more times and he kept no-showing, plus he wouldn't answer calls or texts. One day he texted saying he'd come on May 18th, but that was an overcast day with rain in the forecast and he was a no-show again without even trying to reschedule. I asked them for my money back but keep getting the runaround.
Don't waste your money here. I wanted to return a jacket but they said the three day window had closed. They took a week just to ship it to me, so how was I supposed to figure out if it would work before that window ended?
There's literally NO WAY to get in touch with them. Super frustrating when something goes wrong on their end, which it did.
Starting to feel like this place is scamming people. Last week their 20% discount code wouldn't work so I bought the deal anyway since it was late. Called the next day and after 15 minutes on the phone plus three separate holds, they said they'd refund me $38. Then the call dropped. Checked my PayPal and never got the money. Contacted them again and they claimed in their notes that I hung up, which is completely false. Even if the line dropped, they had all the information they needed after our conversation. Not doing business with them anymore. Going with the competitor that rhymes with a different coupon site. Way more trustworthy.
When I tried to buy tickets, their system gave an error saying the transaction didn't work and told me to call customer service. Except there's no phone number or chat option anywhere on the site. I tried ordering again a couple times and got errors both times. A few minutes later I get confirmations for three separate orders. All three charged me. There's no way to contact them easily but when I did reach someone, they refused to refund any of it, claiming the tickets are non refundable. This was clearly their system's fault, not mine.
This is a scam. Got an email about a Black Friday iPad deal and wanted to get one for our kid. When I logged in, each size option showed sold out or got more expensive. Then because of a glitch during Black Friday, I got charged THREE DIFFERENT TIMES across three different days. They billed me for three iPads and three protection plans. Getting them on the phone is a nightmare. Finally reached someone and explained obviously I didn't want three if I'd wanted them I would've changed the quantity. They asked if there was a glitch, I said yes. Three days later they claim they found nothing wrong. Apple products aren't cheap and this caused my bank account to go seriously negative. They refused to help even though I've been with them for years. They're running a scam and don't care about customers when problems show up.
Their refund policy printed on the voucher says you get money back if the merchant closes. The business on our voucher shut down. We called and got told absolutely not. Even when we pointed out what the policy says, they refused. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.
They're okay, nothing terrible. They've got some decent deals and work well with other coupon platforms. I've gotten some good local offers from them. My advice though is to skip their travel and product sections because those tend to be overpriced.
The 'Ultimate Date Night' package they're selling is misleading. It was promoted as a $124 deal where you get movie tickets and restaurant vouchers for $100, but what they don't tell you is the restaurant component only works at specific places and not how you'd expect. You get a $100 restaurant card but can only use small portions at each location. Some places only let you use $5 of the credit when you spend $15. The one I went to required spending $50 just to use $25 of credit. So you're really looking at spending another $100 across multiple restaurants just to use that card. Plus my voucher was only good for 60 days and I travel, so it was impossible to get through all the restaurants in time. They used to let me get refunds when issues came up, but now they're saying I should have read the fine print.
Not going to complain here. Actually had something unexpected happen today. Based on everything I've been reading, I expected the worst. But my issue got taken care of in a single call with genuine kindness and real professionalism. I've dealt with plenty of overseas customer service reps in the past who struggle with English, but this person was different. He was clear with his explanations, professional in how he handled things, and actually wanted to help. It was refreshing to have something positive to say about my experience. Thanks for making my day better.

Their 'Experience' deals are a terrible value. These require you to book with the vendor, but they oversell them so much that you can't get an appointment during the deal window. You're stuck either paying full price later or losing money. Stay away from any experience deal that needs scheduling.
Got a voucher for carpet cleaning that supposedly covered my area. Called to book and got told they don't service my location. Requested my money back but only got deal bucks as a credit. When I tried using the deal bucks to buy something cheaper than the credit amount, it kept asking for a credit card even though I already have a credit. Checked my card info and it's all current and fine. Tried with another card, same problem. Even tried PayPal, nope. Clearly something's broken on their end. Called their number and got connected to someone who just hung up on me. Called back asking for a supervisor and had to wait over an hour. Called again and got the same endless holding pattern. When someone finally picked up, they wanted my credit card details but said they can't issue refunds, only deal bucks. I'm out $45 and stuck.
I'm furious. Their support basically doesn't exist. I feel completely ripped off. Bought a voucher for golf instruction and when the instructor ended up traveling, they refused to give me my money back. They blamed me for not canceling within seven days as if it was my responsibility. Their reps are trained to make you feel guilty like the problem is yours when really they're the ones keeping your cash. It's unbelievable they're allowed to do this to so many customers.
