Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Savings Hacks
Review whether you qualify for corporate, military, or travel industry discounts that may combine with or exceed the standard promotional codes found on RetailCoupons.com.
Extended stays often unlock steeper per-night savings; compare the total cost of a longer booking against single nights to maximize your discount.
Millennium & Copthorne regularly releases regional offers tied to holidays and travel seasons; plan your trip around high-value promotional windows for maximum savings.
Look for vacation packages that include meals, activities, or credits rather than room-only deals, as these often provide better overall value than standalone room discounts.
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Shipping Policy
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels does not ship physical products; instead, shoppers book and pay for hotel accommodations and travel services online. Upon confirming your reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation and itinerary via email, which you present at check-in.
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Returns & Refund Policy
Hotel reservations typically cannot be returned in the traditional sense, but most properties offer cancellation policies that allow guests to modify or cancel bookings within specified timeframes for a full or partial refund. Review the cancellation terms associated with your specific rate and property before booking, as they vary by location and offer type.

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Reviews
Millennium & Copthorne Hotels receives polarized reviews, with shoppers either reporting severely negative experiences or praising exceptional staff service. The majority of negative reviews cite problems with room cleanliness and maintenance (cracked sinks, grimy windows, filthy gyms), unexpected checkout pressures, questionable charges for young children, missing promised amenities like complimentary breakfast despite paid bookings, and outdated facilities. However, a smaller group of five-star reviewers highlight outstanding staff performance as a reason to return, with specific praise for individual team members who provided memorable service.
The hotel chain appears to struggle with consistency across locations and fulfilling promotional promises. Guests report feeling shortchanged when advertised benefits (free breakfast, parking) disappear upon arrival, and membership program participants express frustration about receiving lower-quality rooms than standard bookings. The few enthusiastic reviews suggest that exceptional staff can create positive experiences, but this does not offset the widespread complaints about property conditions and operational issues that dominate the feedback.
My stay at their Chelsea Harbour location was absolutely terrible. Staff kept pushing us to leave right after 11am even though our reservation confirmation stated checkout was at noon. When we questioned it, the front desk just shrugged and said they weren't charging extra anyway. The rooms were filthy, with a cracked sink, windows so grimy you couldn't see through them, and a broken wardrobe. The pool area facilities weren't working. Breakfast was completely disorganized, missing forks and spoons, no coffee available, and they were rushing us out at 10:25. I requested a refund but they declined, insisting we misunderstood because while their email says 12 o'clock, their website apparently lists 11 somewhere. They're acting like broken furniture and dirty rooms are totally normal for them. If you think filthy rooms and broken fixtures are fine, go ahead and book. But if you have any sense at all, find somewhere else.
If you're thinking about joining their membership program to earn rewards, think twice. Don't build up all those points expecting nice rooms, because members end up getting stuck with substandard accommodations at Chelsea Harbour.
The rooms had just gotten a refresh, but our experience was far from good. We ordered a cot for the baby but it wasn't set up, and to make matters worse they charged us fifteen dollars for a child under one year old, which seemed unreasonable. The breakfast buffet was honestly pretty bad. There wasn't any fresh fruit unless we asked for it ourselves. The baked beans looked questionable, and the ham looked old and discolored already. Hot coffee wasn't even available at the buffet and we'd have to pay extra for decent coffee. Staff didn't clear away our used plates or refill our drinks. For forty-four dollars per person, this was way overpriced and totally unacceptable. You really start your day off right with a great breakfast, and this was the opposite. It feels like they're taking advantage of international and overseas travelers.
The team at the Aberdeen location absolutely crushed it for us. Mahi and Hannah were outstanding, and Abby kept things going all through the evening. This group of ladies at the Copthorne made our entire company's visit spectacular and memorable. We can't speak highly enough of them.
My daughter stayed at this hotel in Salford for a course, and it was a really disappointing experience. I had booked it online specifically because of a promotion that promised complimentary breakfast and parking to avoid her having to go out alone for meals. When she arrived, the breakfast offer had mysteriously vanished even though we'd already paid for it in full. The room itself was in rough shape - outdated and filthy, with dark hairs scattered across the bathroom tiles that definitely weren't hers. The TV kept switching on randomly throughout the night, which was incredibly frustrating. Room service was promoted on the TV but turned out to not exist. Dirty food trays sat in the hallway all day, visible from lunch until late afternoon, and the housekeeping staff just walked right past them without doing anything about it. Over her three-day stay, housekeeping never once entered her room to clean. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone at reception either. I reached out to the company through Facebook and got directed to the local manager's email, but never heard back. When I tried again through Facebook, still nothing. This place is terrible, and I'm really sorry my daughter didn't go with the Premier Inn instead.
What a letdown. The Copthorne in the West Midlands is situated in a decent neighborhood with a big shopping mall nearby, which was a plus. But the actual hotel felt stuck in the 1990s. The gym attached to the property was absolutely filthy with basically no restrooms available and no one working there. I looked it up online to lodge a complaint and found out there's another location near the airport that apparently has very different types of guests staying there.
I booked as a member at the Chelsea Football Club location and was really disappointed. The first red flag was the broken escalator going from the lobby up to reception, and there was a line of people waiting to check in. When we got to room 601, we were let down. The furniture had stains, the sink was cracked and discolored, the TV channels looked pixelated and fuzzy, the lighting was dim and uninviting, and there were no outlets or charging ports by the bed. We won't be coming back.
I was searching for somewhere nice in the Plymouth area to celebrate my cousin's 70th birthday, just one night in a room with twin beds. Parking was essential for us since we're both getting older and have mobility issues. The Copthorne seemed perfect based on the pictures and positive reviews on their site. I even bought travel insurance for extra peace of mind in case my cousin's health issues flared up. The parking being underground sounded convenient initially. Only after I completed the booking did they email to mention I should arrive early since parking is available first-come, first-served. I explained we couldn't get there any sooner due to other appointments and reiterated that we were elderly and disabled. They just repeated the first-come, first-served policy and mentioned other parking lots nearby. I was frustrated and asked to cancel and receive a full refund. Booking.com had recommended the insurance through Zurich, so I thought I was protected. But as we went back and forth, the Copthorne started contradicting themselves, claiming they'd actually promised us a guaranteed space and staff assistance with luggage.
I booked a single night at the Copthorne Tara in West London, but I made a careless error with the date and accidentally reserved it for the wrong night. I realized this mistake that same evening at 20:30 and immediately called the front desk to explain. The receptionist wasn't able to help but suggested emailing reservations and following up with a phone call the next morning, which I did. When I called reservations at 9am, the guy told me to contact the front desk instead. When I called the front desk back, they directed me to call reservations. This back and forth went on through multiple calls and even an in-person visit to the desk. Finally, they informed me they couldn't do anything because the company had already charged my card. I find it shocking that in 2024, nobody at this hotel can fix a simple date adjustment. It's clear the staff needs way more training on how to actually help customers with problems.
My wife and I are both people with disabilities, and my wife uses a wheelchair. We spent two nights here and it was an absolute travesty from start to finish. We had reserved a twin room on a lower floor months in advance, but when we checked in they suddenly upgraded us without asking. The first room they put us in was on the ninth floor, which didn't work for us. Once we finally got into a room, it was a double bedroom with no shower and wallpaper peeling off the walls everywhere. They moved us around a total of four different times, but never to the accessible room we originally booked. The hotel claimed to be fully booked with tourists. We never got an apology or any offer to make things right, and they just kept the four hundred pound charge. We absolutely won't return and honestly don't think anyone else should either. I've stayed in a lot of places and this has to rank among the absolute worst.
Do yourself a favor and skip the Copthorne Tara location in Kensington, London. Our room was absolutely dreadful, the staff wasn't helpful at all, and the place was nowhere near clean enough. The train noise coming through all night made sleeping nearly impossible. We were there for four nights with three people total and spent twelve hundred pounds on the worst hotel experience imaginable. Every single night was a nightmare, and nobody even attempted to make it right with any kind of compensation.
I'm there every single week and honestly have no complaints whatsoever. The staff treats us incredibly well and stays professional, especially since the new management team took over. The rooms are spacious with really comfortable beds, and the internet speed is fantastic. The continental breakfast buffet is always nicely laid out with good quality options to choose from.
You're paying way too much for what you actually get here. The rooms are gloomy and uncomfortable, with temperatures that swing from freezing to suffocating. The air conditioning is seriously broken and water damage is visible throughout.
We had a wonderful stay at the Manchester location with my significant other. While it's not fancy or upscale, it was exactly what we wanted. We've visited quite a few Millennium and Copthorne properties, and this one had the friendliest and most helpful service we've experienced across the whole chain.
We stayed at the Newcastle location back in May 2022 and had a really nice experience. The rooms overlook the Tyne and are quite pleasant, and the lobby is impressively spacious. What really stood out was how warm and welcoming all the staff were. Every single person was upbeat and friendly. The team is really top notch, and we want to give special praise to the F&B crew, including Chelsea, Paul, and Elizabeth, who went above and beyond. You guys are fantastic and keep doing what you're doing!
