Premier Yarns really stands out as the top spot online for fantastic prices on excellent quality yarn and super fast shipping. This was my first time ordering from them and I was blown away by the quality of everything in my package and how quickly it arrived at my door. All the items are beautifully made and look amazing. I went ahead and placed a second order and I'm expecting it to show up any day now. They really know how to get orders out the door without any delays.

A lot of other companies use UPS or FedEx, which come with built-in coverage up to a hundred dollars or more. Premier Yarns uses a different shipping method that puts all the risk squarely on you, no matter how expensive your order is. Porch theft is everywhere now and completely predictable. Asking customers to eat a ninety-dollar loss with zero options for help just doesn't match what most retailers do nowadays. They could fix this by partnering with carriers that have automatic insurance, insuring orders above a certain amount automatically, or offering signature required delivery for bigger purchases. Until that happens, just know that if someone takes your package, you're completely out of luck with this company.

I purchased a granny diagonal stripe throw through Mary Maxim, though it was actually a Premier Yarn product. The way the photos showed it draped made it impossible to really understand what the finished size and shape would actually look like, which felt deliberately unclear. Right from the start I ran into an issue where one corner wasn't at a proper ninety degree angle. Their support team brushed off my concern, and the final result turned out to be a lopsided, unattractive piece. I tried blocking it back to shape but nothing worked. On top of that, I was let down by their customer service when asking questions about the instructions. They insisted there couldn't possibly be any errors in the pattern. Apparently they think it's totally normal for something to come out looking like this mess. The instructor also acted annoyed when helping me, complaining that the pattern was free, even though it was included as part of the kit I paid for. This whole thing was a total letdown. I won't be ordering from either company ever again.

If you look at their site, every single yarn line somehow has five-star ratings, which is laughable considering I wouldn't even use some of their products for a random street dog's blanket. I contacted their support team about these concerns and got pretty rude treatment in return. So I escalated to the CEO, who was polite but insisted I ship back my used skeins. I sent photos instead, and he simply disappeared. A month later, I tried placing another order and they rejected it the same day, saying I was the one who canceled. When I asked for clarification on that claim, they never properly explained themselves.

Premier Yarns is truly an awesome place to get your yarn. The quality is great and the pricing is really fair. I'd definitely recommend them to other crafters. As someone who has been crocheting for years, I know the difference between quality yarn and stuff that just doesn't cut it. And I can confidently say their yarn is quality! My order was canceled but the money never came back. I accidentally placed an order through Facebook around mid-December and quickly canceled it that same day using Facebook as well. I got confirmation that the cancellation went through. The order obviously never shipped out. But my card got charged and I still haven't seen a refund! After waiting a week, I sent an email to their customer service team on the 26th of December and got nothing back except an automatic response. They completely ignored their own stated refund window of three to five business days and they never actually answered my message. I'd give them one star across the board, but to be fair, my other order came through correctly and arrived fine. Still, I'm really disappointed with how they handled this situation.
