Aeroflow Breastpumps has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from shoppers, with a 1.3 rating based on 8 reviews. The primary complaint centers on insurance coverage misrepresentation: multiple customers report being assured that their insurance would fully cover breast pumps, only to receive unexpected bills weeks or months later after the company shipped items without verifying coverage first. Customers also cite poor follow-up communication, difficulty reaching representatives, refusal to accept returns of unopened items, and unresponsive customer service when issues arise. One reviewer reported being sent to debt collection over a disputed charge.

The few operational issues mentioned include delayed or missing replacement part shipments and lack of inventory for certain pump models. Shoppers express frustration that the company appears to ship first and verify insurance coverage afterward, shifting financial responsibility to customers when claims are denied. No positive aspects of the shopping experience were highlighted in available reviews.

The company promised my insurance would pay for the items, shipped everything to me, and then charged me when the insurance declined. They never actually checked my coverage before sending anything out, and now want me to cover their error. I offered to send back the unopened items but was told I had to pay for return shipping myself. I spent over a month going back and forth via email just asking for a simple prepaid label so I could return it all. Instead of just sending a label that would cost a few bucks, they wasted time having me email back and forth while refusing to help. Really poor handling of the situation. Go with another company if you can. At this point I honestly wouldn't even feel safe sending items back myself since they might claim they never got them.

Had a terrible time dealing with this company. They assured me my insurance would cover a breast pump and sent one out, but I later got slapped with a $200 bill for something I thought was completely covered. When I wouldn't pay, they turned me over to a debt collector. I won't be ordering from them again.

They said they'd send free replacement parts after a couple months, so I canceled an order with another brand. It's been almost three weeks now and nothing has shipped. When I reach out to their customer service team, they basically shrug and say they only have replacement pumps for other brands, not this one, and they're out of stock anyway. That's an awfully long time to be out of a particular item.

I applied for a breast pump back in January and spent months calling just to follow up, being told my representative would get back to me, which never happened. Then in March while I was dealing with preterm labor, I found out my insurance stopped covering pumps unless the baby is in the NICU or there's a medical reason. I get that insurance changes are out of their control, but I'm really let down by how Aeroflow handled things. My pump was cleared to ship in December but the company and my representative didn't respond to me or move quickly, which held everything up for three months. We could have had it already if they'd just done their job when they were supposed to. When I expressed this frustration to my representative, she completely ignored my messages. Won't be going through them again.

The customer service here is really bad. I got the Elvie through them thinking I'd mostly breastfeed and only pump occasionally at work. From day one I had to call just to follow up on things. Then my baby came early at 33 weeks, and everything changed with my pumping situation. My pump arrived the day I went into labor. When I called to swap it out, I've literally had to call every single day just to move things forward. They promise to get back to you and don't follow through. Even their managers just read from a script and aren't actually helpful. If your insurance gives you options, go somewhere else.

They told me I could get a breast pump covered free by my insurance. They shipped it out and then two months later I got a bill. I'm confused because they specifically said it was free. They're not being straight with people. Definitely wouldn't suggest them to anyone.

This company has been absolutely awful as a new mom trying to get supplies. Getting the pump was fine, but ordering supplies every month has been a nightmare. They told me I could reorder storage bags every 30 days, but whenever I place an order at the 30-day point, they delay it by over two weeks. That pushes everything back and I end up running out of bags before my new shipment arrives, forcing me to buy them at the store myself. This happens constantly. The final straw came recently when I ordered bags and didn't receive them until late August. My shipment arrived in early September with breast pump parts I never ordered in the wrong size that I can't use. When I called to return these parts that were their mistake, I was told I had to pay for return shipping. Why would I pay to ship back something you messed up? This shouldn't be my cost.

Other companies offering insurance-covered breast pumps are way more friendly and helpful than these folks. When my pump arrived with an issue, they basically turned their back and sent me straight to the manufacturer without any real support. I tried reaching out to the manufacturer like they told me to but couldn't get anywhere, so I contacted them again only to get a generic response about contacting the pump company directly. Zero effort to help. On top of that, they advertise you can get 300 milk storage bags through insurance, meaning it's paid for, except they won't let you choose the brand. They claim they just send whatever they have in stock. Right now that's the Motif brand. That feels sketchy to me since they get paid either way. Feels like they have no incentive to give you what you actually want.
