Don't Order a GIFT CARD!

Please, I am begging everyone not to purchase from Alo! I just wanted a $200 eGift card for my daughter for Christmas. I waited until the last minute because this should be very easy right? WRONG! They repeatedly canceled my egift card orders- I have $600 pending in my checking account...and still no egift card! Please, just do not order an egift card!! The customer service person I spoke with said this is an issue with my bank, but now I am finding out Alo has a history of doing this. Just do not order a gift card please! Save your sanity and time!

Frustrating and Embarrassing Experience

We purchased 4 gift cards totaling $400 for our clients. While the cards were eventually activated, it took an unreasonable amount of work on our end to get there. What should have been a simple, thoughtful gesture turned into a stressful and embarrassing ordeal.Customer service was slow and unhelpful. We had to repeatedly follow up because promised callbacks never happened, and we could never get the issue escalated to management. After all that effort, the only resolution offered was 10% off a future order — which feels insulting given the time, frustration, and embarrassment we endured.Bottom line: The cards were finally activated, but the process was a disaster. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and no meaningful resolution. We will not be ordering again!

I am so disappointed with my online…

I am so disappointed with my online purchase from aloyoga.com. I live out of state from the Lynnfield, MA store. I drove an hour to pick it up the item and it was not there. I was told it is in DC! Two days before Christmas. There was no indication that the item was not in stock in the store when I made the purchase. I chose "Pick Up" at checkout. It was not a "Ship to Store" purchase and nothing indicated it was not in stock. I wouldn't have ordered it if it was not in stock, and I wouldn't have wasted 2 hours driving down and back to not get it. Two days before Christmas. They couldn't cancel my order since they didn't have the item yet. The manager showed me the computer screen and there was no option to cancel it, so I don't blame her, but do better ALO. I went to my car and chatted with an ALO customer support specialist, and they told me the same thing. For the amount of money you charge for your clothes, you should have an online purchasing system that doesn't screw over your customers. Weird that they could charge my credit card without having the item in their hand, but they couldn't cancel it/refund my money without it. (This is not bashing the staff btw--this is ALO's issue of not giving their staff options and trust to properly handle customer issues. They were limited by the poorly designed software.)

Placed an order for a fleece, six weeks later the item has still not arrived. When I have contacted them by email / customer service and live chat they do not reply. Shocking customer service. Do not buy from them online.

Advice

Advice: Do Not BuyI’ve been an Alo Customer for a few years and never experienced any issues with customer service. But as the years have passed, I have come to accept that the quality of their products is quite horrible given the price point. The colors fade and the materials loose their shape. I am not a daily athletic-leisure person and take my Alo to the cleaners or wash on cold gentle cycle and line dry. I questioned myself at first, but I recently purchased espresso brown Accolade pieces and both are terribly faded after just a few cleanings. This is unacceptable, especially for the price point. I will not be buying anything else. Disappointed!

I would like to give them a ZERO!! CROOKS!!…

I would like to give them the zero they deserve for deceptive practices. I purchased a gift card via AMEX. Have evidence of the purchase. Recipient tries to use the card and it has a zero balance. Store says there’s nothing they can do. Upon research this is a common practice. They need to be investigated for recognizing unearned revenue in these transactions. They are some crooks!!

Customer service ghosts customers who complain

I purchased a number of items during the Alo Yoga sale. They each arrived in a piecemeal manner and over this time my husband was involved in a devastating cycle accident. When it came around to wrapping my Xmas gifts, i realised that a sweatshirt i had paid for was never delivered. I contacted Alo Yoga to explain and they never replied..I then had to re-purchase the sweatshirt and was invited to say how the company had managed my order. I re-iterated my frustration at having to re- purchase an item that had never arrived and again - ghosted. Disgusting

I think "Con service" is more accurate…

I think "Con service" is more accurate name for Alo customer service! One item went missing after over thousands in purchases. I had to spend long phone calls with an Alo agent, who understood the situation but could't make the decision, had to wait for her supervisor to make a decision, who was nowhere to find. Then she ridiculously ask me to go back the email rout, to solve the issue. Didn't she know I called because email doesn't work, i got "1-2 business days" and no answers. It is like you give birth to a baby, baby got a health problem, Dr can't solve the baby's problem, then suggest to put the baby back to mom's womb. Tell me this is not a joke! Alo doesn't care about the customer's interest after making the purchase, they try to delay delay and delay to solve any issues that are not of benefit them. So I made decision today, I am not going to go through this headache again, I am going to return all of my orders and won't see them again. After all, their products are over-priced, low class, bad taste and poor service.

Ordered two items for my daughter for…

Ordered two items for my daughter for Christmas. One item has been received. Only way to contact via chat it’s the week before Christmas item coming from America to the Uk provided evidence to be told will review in 48hr. Sat in a virtual queue to speak to a not existent advisor to raise a complaint to try and get item shipped defy. Will never offer agin from this brand disappointed does not even cut it.
