Screwed up online order and lied about the resolution

I made an online order, and they advertised free next day shipping, when it came to checkout, I was asked to pay a $5 shipping charge. When the order arrived, they sent me a spray bottle instead of the spark plug grease I ordered. When I called back, they wanted me to use a gift card and make a 45 minute r/t drive to the store to pick it up, I declined, and they agreed to ship it out to me for the next day arrival. Two days later it never arrived, so I called back. The associate I spoke to had apparently issued the gift card instead of replacing the item like we talked about (there was no notification of a gift card in my email, so I couldn't have known about it or used it anyway). I needed the order quickly as I was going out of town, and they royally screwed this up, not to mention lied to me over the telephone (told me one thing and did another). Never going to use them again.

store 040 i placed an order online of 12 different items including fix a flat, oil, head light blubs ect. total $212.04. i placed the order around 3:30pm and they had the nerve to send the delivery person with just a receipt to tell me they refunded everything that they didn't have any of the items. how in the hell are they going to be out of oil and fix a flat makes no sense. then the refund was less than what i paid it was only for $192.15. they want to charge me delivery fee what was the point in sending a person with just the receipt.. noone will explain how they are out of oil and fix a flat give me a break and someone should have called me abut no having the product. i needed the fix a flat for my car to get it to the shop so they could change the tire.. this is my last time going to autozone..

Faith Broken for. $500 part

This company has been getting worse and worse as time move on. I ordered a part online for over $500, because the store couldn't help me figure out how to get it and told me that's how I had to go after offering me a discount code that didn't work online after I ordered online it gave me a shipping date a week out that was a month and a half ago. I've called the store multiple times. They can't help me although the team seems to be very friendly and helpful. There's nothing they can do because it's an online order. They gave me the number to call the regional team. I've left them two or three messages over a weeks time with no return call. I'm over $500 out of money. I have no idea how to get it back. The man's team won't return my call and my daughter has been without her car for over a month and a half with finals work and everything else that comes with being a teenager. This is more than ridiculous. Every time I look at the app it updates. My delivery time is a week away, but there's no tracking information and says it's not shipped. This is beyond ridiculous and unfortunately seems to be the trend. O'Reilly's has been a much better experience in every other aspect and has the part I need but being out $500 I'm holding out to hopefully get a return or response for somebody. I live in Chandler Arizona this team in my opinion is pathetic. There's no excuse to not return a customer's complaint in over a week after at least two or three calls look into other options. I highly advise it. I've been loyal this company for a long time.

I was sold a 3 year old”new” battery

I was sold a 3 year old”new” battery, mind you it only has an 18 month warranty! It lasted 7 days and I had to miss time from my job being late because of a dead battery! Not only that but the guy kept my battery caging, the thing that keeps it from bouncing around! I’m struggling and could barely afford a new battery and definitely can’t afford to miss work!

Autozone, not what it was.

Everytime i go to Autozone in the last couple of years customer service is wanting. Parts are not as good. I went to Grants NM Autozone to get a 2 ton engine hoist. So the employees help to load it but when i got home 56 miles frome the store, there was only one of the two boxes. Once i went back to town and got the second box. Duralasr 2 ton engine hoist, parts are not bent to fit the design and heavy duty washers are missing. Quality is going down. Sad since i been dealing with them for decades.

This is how customer service is done

Deanna B at the Autozone at 5055 E Tropicana has gone out of her way to help me. She ordered my replacement brake pads twice with no delivery from the hub. She ordered them a third time, Then, went to pick them up at that location so I can pick them up the next day at her location. Above and beyond great customer service!!!

Excellent Service!

I went to AutoZone at 1801 North Frazier, Conroe, Texas this morning to purchase a battery for my 2016 Chev Silverado 1500 FWD. David was the assigned technician who labored in very hot and humid conditions to remove my old battery and install a new replacement battery. It was a difficult task to remove the battery that is very snuggly secured with a crossbar and several attached bolts that are hard to get to. Lifting the battery out in that there was little to no easy access. David did a superb job and he refused to accept my cash tip. David represented the brand well. I made sure to let his manager know about David’s efforts on my behalf.
