B&Q Return & Refund policy is pretty clear and straightforward! Most items can be returned in their original condition within 90 days as long as you have the original receipt, order confirmation, or sales invoice. 

You can bring items bought in-store or through Click + Collect back to any B&Q store.

However, some things can't be returned. This includes products that were cut or made to a specific size for you, as well as items that can’t be resold for health or hygiene reasons if their packaging has been opened. 

Also, perishable goods like plants or turf can only be returned if they are faulty.

If you bought an item online directly from B&Q, you can either return it to a store or, for a fee of up to £50.00, arrange for them to collect it from your home. For items bought from a B&Q Verified Seller, you must contact the seller directly to arrange the return.

You can buy your items online and pick them up at your nearest store. The best thing here is your order can be ready in as little as 15 minutes

To collect, just bring your order confirmation QR code or number. If you've ordered something with age restrictions, remember to bring your ID and be the one to pick it up.

Even if you buy from a B&Q Verified Seller, you can still use this service, though it might take a little longer. If you change your mind and don’t pick up your order, B&Q will automatically return and refund it after 7 days, making the process completely worry-free.

This company are a disgrace. TOO BIG TO CARE

This company are a disgrace.They said on their web site that what we orderd would be delivered two days before Christmas.Then two days before christmas we were informed it wouldn't be delivered until two days after Christmas. We needed it for Christmas so we sent an email to cancel the item. The reply we got was that it was out of their hands, they wouldn't cancel the order and recall the item as it was now the problem of the third party carrier they chose to use. When we emailed them again to tell them we didn't purchase the item from the third party carrier they chose to use, and it wasn't the third party carrier who told us it would be delivered before Christmas, and it wasn't the third party carrier we had spent our money with, they just ignored the email. So now we are going to be stuck with an item we no longer need and will cost too much to return because I have no doubt they won't pay the return cost. So from our experience do not purchase from B&Q because they just don't care about customer servce. There are plenty of other companies out their who will treat you a lot better and take responsibilty for what they sell you, and not just try and pass it on to a third party once they have your money. B&Q TOO BIG TO CARE.B&Q don't make commitments you cannot keep.

Item late with no apology!

Bought a last minute Christmas present on the 19th of December. The website stated 1-3 days delivery so I was fairly confident it would be recieved in time. I received absolutely no correspondence after ordering, and after locating the information I found an update that stated delivery would be upto the 29th of December,certainly not 1-3 days. I completely understand the delivery times over Christmas,but when I reached out to email to ask what was happening they said if I didn't want the item because it was late to refuse delivery. No apology or empathy,I will be sticking with amazon next time!

B and q

Bought a impact drill of b and q through one of there preferred sellers for £29 when it came I tried it out and it was a bag of rubbish it was a cheap Chinese copy of a Makita supposedly rated at 520 nm anyhow I sent it back and got a full refund then I recived an email from bnq asking if I wanted to leave a review on the impact gun which I did now they won’t publish it because it because I left a review like this so they’ll only publish a review if it’s to there favour

No refund

Bought digital Card online to make a purchase when I went back online a few of the products were now unavailable so I tried install and on telephone with customer services but it looks like that B&Q Don don’t like giving customers their money back they hide behind up. paragraph in their teams and conditions which say no refund on gift cards and digital online cards. If they wanted to give customers their money back it’s a matter of a few buttons and probably scanning a barcode but no B&Q will not give you a refund and your money back.

Miserable Experience

I bought 114 quids worth of paint. With in 2 hours I returned to ask for refund as it was the wrong paint and I click and collected the right paint. Unfortunately I had mislaid my receipt. Despite being able to show my credit card payment 2 hours early and the payment for the new paint staff insisted I could only have a credit note. Whilst I acknowledge it was my fault I didn't have a receipt I could show I'd made payment. I now have a credit note for 114 for a store I don't ever want to shop at again. Thanks for treating me like a professional shoplifter and displaying no common sense what so ever.

Honestly avoid this company at all cost

I never thought a company this big could totally ruin Christmas but they have for my family. They failed to process and deliver an oven needed for Christmas, there agents sent neighbours details and lied about delivery and to top this multiple attempts to sort the issue were transfered to the south Africa call centre who were inept and rude. The outcome is a whole family desperately trying to find alternative arrangements on Christmas eve and no consideration from b&q.

B&Q acting like they aren’t involved in a sale from their own website

Went to the B&Q website to buy privacy film. Bought it and they sent tinted instead of clear. Am trying to get a return and refund and have spent literally weeks in negotiations firstly with B&Q who’s staff don’t seem to be able to read an email, and now they are involving me in negotiations with their sub-contractor and say it’s up to them if I can get a return or not!B&Q are acting like they are not involved in the sale and I bought it from some random shop onlineFeel very cheated by B&Q and shocked at the poor communication and lack of care Apparently we have to wait for the subcontractor get get back with THEIR decision! Great way to spend Christmas

Ok if not on display..

This is for 2x chipboard white shelves 2m long. Staff happy to help at Clacton, had my order ready to collect. Only down side really with click and collect, is they never seem to pick out the best ones which is understandable I guess as they are dealing with lots of requests. However, had I have went to store, I would have made sure the shelves were perfect before buying them. They were ok for the money and did what I wanted them for, which was in a cupboard. If they were on display however their not finished well on the edges...beware.
