Would give zero stars if the system allowed it. The 8 by 10 prints came back looking awful. Both had that muddy appearance. The black and white one looked like it had been dipped in ink and the color one was dull with basically no depth to it. I provided them with images that were bright, clear and high resolution, and somehow they turned them into something that looked like a cheap office copier printout. I tried reaching out twice through their contact form and once via email. Got nothing back. No refund. No offer to redo them. Nothing. Don't bother, try somewhere else like Mpix.

Won't be ordering from them again. I placed an order three weeks back and still haven't received it. Tried to get answers about the delay but had to sit on hold for over forty-five minutes just to get someone to tell me what was going on. After that experience, I'm done. Our studio does millions in revenue yearly and works with tons of different printers, but Bay Photo won't be one of them anymore.

Really satisfied with their luster and metal options. I've ordered both luster prints and metal prints from this lab. They have great customer service and the products are definitely high quality.

Major regret joining their platform. I paid over three thousand dollars to build a storefront website specifically because they were the only fine art photo printing option available. Now I'm regretting it. I need to contact the platform company to see if I can get a refund since I can't sell low quality prints to customers who are paying one hundred dollars and up per piece. Nobody answered my questions for two weeks. Then a different rep finally responded, but only to say the first person had to send my questions to a tech department. Another two weeks of nothing. The print I got back is subpar. I have a professional printer in LA who handles my expensive work, and compared to theirs, this print is garbage. I tested eight prints of the same photo from different labs and theirs came in last place. When I asked what equipment they use, they said they use multiple printers. That's a problem because every printer produces different results. A Canon prints differently than an Epson. They refused to tell me which machine printed my test shot because they won't even check. The whole attitude was off.

Different sizes requested but all came the same. I specified different dimensions for a set of sixteen prints but instead got sixteen that were all identical in size, cropping out details I needed from the photos. My fine art large prints also had quality issues, including one that was cut slightly shorter than it should be so it won't work in my frame. Plus the entire batch has crease marks on them.

Got wrong sizes and damaged finished product. I requested different print dimensions for sixteen photos but received sixteen prints that were all cut to the same size. This cut off important parts of several images. Then my fine art prints had their own problems, with one being cut shorter than the other so it won't fit properly in my frame. To make matters worse, there are visible crease marks across multiple photos.

Used to be reliable, not anymore. Back in 2020 I had a great experience ordering prints from them. Decided to give them another shot and placed an order on June 9, 2023. After submitting it, I kept checking my account to see if anything was happening. Never heard a word from them. By September 12 I just went ahead and cancelled the whole thing since I wasn't going to wait any longer and figured I'd get the prints made elsewhere. Really disappointing how much things have changed with this company.

My entire order arrived damaged due to new packaging method. Used to be my favorite lab and I always came back to them. In the past if a print or two got damaged during shipment it was annoying but they'd reprint it quick and gave great customer support. This time they switched to sending everything rolled up in tubes instead of flat, and it destroyed all seventeen of my large format prints. They came creased and wrinkled from being jammed into the tube. This is unacceptable and I missed my deadline because of it. I'm looking for a different lab that actually cares about delivering prints in good shape. Professionals should look elsewhere. That said, I want to mention that after I complained, they handled it with really good customer service. While I've decided to go with another vendor moving forward, I do respect that they worked hard to make it right, and that's not something you see from every company these days.

Customer service doesn't want to help. Their support team seems unwilling to actually work with customers on problems. They clearly state their production timelines, but then when orders take longer than promised, sometimes way longer, and you contact them about it, they just say those times aren't guaranteed and there's nothing they can do about it. It's frustrating because the actual prints have been good quality, but this lack of accountability has caused us to let down our own customers who were counting on receiving their orders on time. That's not worth it to us.

Their support team is unhelpful and unprofessional. They blame customers instead of taking responsibility. Look at this exchange from their chat where the rep Annette C blamed me for the issue. She said I could call for help, then in the next message she claimed I must have accidentally ordered from the wrong store. Apparently I'm the problem, even though they're the ones making error after error.

Great experience with their large format canvas work. I had used them before so when I decided to get a 40 by 60 inch canvas luster print with a Wedge Float Frame, I went back to them. I sent in a sample first to see if it would pixelate at that size. They told me it would, so I used Topaz Gigapixel to improve the resolution and sent that file instead. The finished product is fantastic. They had it done within days and the packaging was top notch with plastic, then a custom cardboard box, then a wooden case that protected it perfectly. The color is beautiful and you can see sharp detail throughout even at this large size.

Been a repeat customer and they came through again. When I needed a big 40 by 60 inch canvas luster print with a Wedge Float Frame, I came back to them. Before committing, I sent over a sample photo to ask if there'd be pixelation issues at that size. They were honest and said yes, so I ran it through Topaz Gigapixel to upscale it and sent the improved version. I'm really happy with what arrived. They had it done in just a few days, wrapped it carefully in plastic, put it in a custom box, then packaged that whole thing in a wooden crate. Everything showed up without a scratch. The color reproduction is fantastic and the details are crisp, even with how large this print is.

Terrible results despite paying for rush shipping. I ordered three prints and paid extra for two-day delivery. It ended up taking almost two weeks to arrive. Two of them came out acceptable but the third one is just awful. The colors look washed out and the whole thing is way too dark. Until they make this right, I'm leaving this review up and finding another lab to use.

Printed wrong photo and refused to fix it. I ordered two metal prints, each supposed to be a different image. They printed the same photo on both. I called to complain about it and mentioned the quality was poor. The rep said they'd make one correctly. Three weeks later and still nothing. I spent a week making calls and sitting on hold just to be told they cancelled my order. No refund and no replacement either.

Getting support is nearly impossible. I had some calibration problems with my order and nobody ever called me back to work through them. On top of that, they seem to really fight against giving refunds even when you're unhappy with what you get. The prints they sent back to me were honestly pretty terrible. Not impressed at all with how they handle things.
