Wanted to check out the famous onion rings so I hit up the brand new location in the Jacksonville area. I don't usually order burgers at places like this since I prefer mine medium rare and they won't do that. Paid over $5 for the onion rings, $5 for well-done fries, and $3.50 for a soda - total was $14.25. The fries were solid, basically on par with Five Guys pricing and quality. The onion rings were battered rather than breaded and decent but not outstanding for what I paid. The pricing here is really steep and honestly I think they're going to struggle more than Five Guys because the value just isn't there. This appears to be some kind of private investment venture, but the food doesn't justify what they're charging. Walking around at lunch watching young employees, I couldn't help but wonder how they could afford to eat here regularly - it just doesn't add up financially.
BurgerFI serves up excellent burgers, chicken sandwiches, and onion rings in a great atmosphere. Alan who took our order was super personable and made us feel valued. Leslie brought everything out and both guys made sure to check on us a couple times. The strawberry shakes were fantastic too. We're coming back next month when we're in town again!
The burger bun was drowning in sauce, lettuce felt rubbery, fries were soggy broken bits that were limp and cold. The chicken tenders lacked crispness and the coating inside wasn't cooked right.
Walked in when the place was empty and stood around for 5 minutes waiting for someone to help me. Saw staff duck away when they noticed me. When a girl finally came over she looked annoyed. Found out they were out of honey mustard and would be slow with the haystack onions if they made them. Got some sweet tea but it looked like they hadn't brewed any all day - sweet or regular. One ice machine is broken and they need to refill the Coke. The menu board had dirty fingerprints all over it. Young workers eventually appeared, some from the front looking at their phones, others coming from the bathroom, and a couple from the back. Watched someone drop something while cooking my burger and pick it back up while glancing to see if I noticed. Staff had earbuds in, looked unpresentable, and generally seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else. Everyone kept going in and out staring at their phones instead of being engaged.
Basma really took care of me and made my visit one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant. She had genuine energy and a positive attitude that totally brightened my day, plus the food was excellent.
Hands down the worst experience I've had anywhere. Ordered food and they forgot to give me my fries. When I went back to tell them, they wouldn't refund me or provide the fries - basically said tough luck. Would steer clear of this place.
Visited the Delray location late in the evening and the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The veggie burgers are delicious, and Jessica was wonderful when I came back for another one. The manager's energy was pretty intense though - maybe ease up on the great team members you've got since they seem to really care about doing a good job!
The Pinecrest location was disappointing from start to finish. The ordering process was a hassle and the cashier seemed checked out - made an error but I tipped him anyway. Also not thrilled they're asking for tips at the register. The burger patties were tough and rubbery, almost impossible to bite through. Won't be back.
Went to the Lake Mary spot and had a really frustrating experience. Showed up at 8:32pm when they close at 9 and ordered food to eat there. About ten minutes in, staff came over saying we had to leave because closing time was coming. The manager was apparently out getting supplies because they were low on items. They wouldn't let us stay inside and told us to either eat outside in the rain or take it to go. Called the manager and eventually got told we could stay until 9:10, but the whole situation was handled poorly from the start. As we were leaving at 9:10 and putting our trash away, one of the employees made a really rude gesture at us through the car window. Very disappointed.
The quality of the food is solid, but I've had issues twice now where onion rings weren't in my bag. Tried calling the location to report it but nobody picked up. Would've really appreciated them sending a coupon to make up for those missing items.

Skip the Boca Raton location near Glades Road - our burgers came out cold and the replacements were wrong. Staff had bad attitudes and honestly the place doesn't seem like it'll last.
