About Calm

Calm is a streaming platform that offers meditation, sleep stories, music, and wellness content designed to help users manage stress and improve mental health. Shoppers seek promo codes and discounts for Calm to reduce the cost of subscription plans, making premium wellness content more affordable.

How to Use a Calm Promo Code

  1. Visit calm.com and browse the subscription options or pricing page to identify the plan that fits your needs.
  2. Select your desired subscription plan and proceed to the checkout page.
  3. Look for a field labeled promo code, discount code, or similar during the payment step and enter your code if you have one.
  4. Complete your payment information and review the discount applied before finalizing your purchase.
  5. Check your email for a confirmation receipt that includes your subscription details and access instructions.

Promo Code Not Working? Try This

  • Expired codes will not work at checkout; verify the code's expiration date before attempting to use it.
  • Some codes may be restricted to new subscribers only, so check the terms to confirm you qualify.
  • Ensure you are entering the code exactly as shown, including any numbers or capital letters, since codes are case-sensitive.
  • If a code applies only to annual plans, attempting to use it on a monthly subscription will cause it to fail.
  • Codes may have usage limits; if the maximum redemptions have been reached, the code will no longer be valid.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again if a valid code is being rejected at checkout.

Calm Savings Hacks

Check for annual plan discounts

Annual subscriptions typically offer better per-month rates than monthly plans. Compare the total cost of a yearly commitment against monthly billing to see the potential savings.

Monitor RetailCoupons for rotating offers

Calm runs periodic promotions through affiliate channels. Check the offers list at the top of this page regularly and return often, as new discounts are added when they become available.

Look for free trial periods

Many streaming services, including wellness platforms, offer introductory trial access. Review the store's current offers to see if a trial period is available before you commit to a paid plan.

Stack codes with billing cycles

If Calm offers both a sign-up discount and seasonal promotions, timing your subscription start during a sale period can maximize your savings on the first billing cycle.

Calm Shipping Policy

Calm is a digital streaming service, so there is no physical shipping involved. Access to your subscription and all content is typically available immediately after purchase, allowing you to start using the app or website right away.

Calm Returns & Refund Policy

Return policies for subscription services differ from physical products. Most streaming platforms do not offer refunds after a billing cycle has been charged, so review the store's terms and your subscription start date before completing your purchase. If you have concerns about charges, contact the store's customer support team.

Shoppers report serious issues with Calm's billing and account access. The most frequent complaints involve unwanted charges after cancellation, auto-renewal despite cancellation confirmation, refund denials, and inability to access purchased premium features. Multiple reviewers describe the cancellation process as deliberately difficult and note that customer service responses are slow or unhelpful, with some reporting charges of significant amounts (44 pounds mentioned) without service delivery.

A smaller number of positive reviews exist, though specific praise is outweighed by widespread frustration. Negative reviewers commonly note that free alternatives like YouTube offer similar content without the hassle and billing issues. The signup process itself is cited as cumbersome, requiring form completion and payment entry upfront, which reviewers say contradicts the app's stated purpose of promoting calm and relaxation.

Their cancellation process is designed to rip you off. I cancelled my free trial within hours and got confirmation by email. Days later they text me at four in the morning saying my yearly subscription is confirmed, like cancelling the trial doesn't matter. This company is asking for a lawsuit.

Margaret C.Apr 1, 2026

Horrible experience. It auto-renewed even though I cancelled and there's no way to get a refund through their website. I wish I'd read the reviews before trying the week long trial. The content isn't that great anyway. You could honestly find better stuff on YouTube for free. Skip it.

Got a yearly subscription and made an account (which was annoying). The app tells me I have a free account. Logging out and back in didn't fix anything. The chatbot was completely unhelpful and just said someone would email me back eventually. Wish I'd checked the reviews first. I'm going to ask for my money back and if they won't do it, I'm disputing it with my card company. It's ridiculous that an app called Calm actually makes you frustrated.

Janet K.Mar 17, 2026

I'm trying to get some sleep and a friend suggests this app. But signing up for it? That's the opposite of calming. I've got to fill out all these forms, create passwords, and dig out my credit card. Not happening.

Amanda S.Mar 10, 2026

Disaster. They charged me 44 pounds but I can't get in. No active subscriptions anywhere. I had to block them through my bank.

Michael J.Mar 5, 2026

Purchased premium through Instagram on Feb 9th but can't access any of the premium features. It's now March 5th and still zero response, just an automated reply that says they're busy. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Helen Z.Feb 18, 2026

The meditation sessions and Sleep Stories are really good. But navigating the app is clunky and hard to figure out. There are no instructions anywhere on how to use it. And their customer service for billing questions or content questions is basically nonexistent. Also there's no info about the EMDR or binaural beats audio, like how it works or when to use it. These are big problems.

Jason F.Feb 12, 2026

I really dislike this app. I signed up for a one month plan and it wasn't properly connected to my free version. They kept charging me without helping me link to the paid plan. I can't even locate where my paid subscription is to cancel it. This is the worst customer service I've experienced.

Thomas G.Feb 12, 2026

I can't stand this app. I signed up for a month and it never connected to my free account. They started charging me without even helping me connect to the paid plan. I can't even figure out where my paid subscription is so I can stop it. The customer service is the worst.

Christopher A.Feb 10, 2026

I signed up and they charged me. When I try to log in, I get messages that I don't have a subscription. I contact support and get a reply saying they're dealing with a bunch of problems. Then nothing. I'm reporting this to my credit card company because it's a scam.

Kevin P.Feb 10, 2026

Signed up and they took my payment. Then I try to log in and get messages saying I don't have an active subscription. I reach out to them and get a response saying they're slammed with other issues. Nothing happens after that. I'm reporting this to my credit card company because honestly, this feels like fraud.

Nicole E.Feb 9, 2026

Bought it late one night through Instagram. They took my money but never actually gave me the service. I've asked four times to cancel and get a refund. All I get are emails saying they'll look into it, but nothing ever happens. Can't even find how to cancel, so they keep charging me. Would not recommend at all.

Patricia D.Feb 6, 2026

The irony is almost funny. This app is supposed to help you chill out but their awful customer service does the exact opposite. You get charged way too much and nobody responds to your messages for ages. I'm finished with them. Try a different option.

Michelle R.Feb 6, 2026

Talk about ironic. An app designed to help you relax but their customer service is basically nonexistent. They'll overcharge you and you'll be waiting weeks to hear back from anyone. I'm done with them. Go with something else.

Karen V.Feb 1, 2026

They renewed my annual subscription even though I'd already cancelled it. The billing page clearly said the subscription expired ten days before they charged me.
