I'm obsessed with the gorgeous sky blue color of the Takara shine leggings and the sizes run true for the matching sports bra and off-shoulder sweatshirt. Unfortunately that's where the positives stop. I don't really think this line qualifies as actual sportswear and I can say for sure it has zero practical use. It looks super cute but doesn't function as activewear at all. And here's the thing, you can see right through the fabric. I tried with different undergarments and nothing works. Without anything underneath you're basically exposed. Plus there are no pockets anywhere. Not a single one, not even for a key. That's just embarrassing. So I've got a cute $300 piece that only works as loungewear for watching movies at home. Can't even wear it on the treadmill. The color is stunning though, that part gets all the stars, but the functionality gets a big zero. The waist band does provide some light control which adds one star. Would be perfect if there was at least one small pocket.

I'm really surprised by all the negative reviews. I've shopped here about 3 or 4 times and returned stuff almost every time without any problems. Refunds come through immediately and returns are completely free. I'm obsessed with their Melt collection. The clothing quality is great and I'll definitely keep buying. Haven't had a single issue.

Really disappointed with this experience. I ordered leggings that were supposed to be white but they came in way more pink. After I returned them, they charged me a shipping fee that wasn't mentioned on the website. The site said returns were free but they wouldn't refund the shipping cost I had to pay. I won't be ordering from them again. Total scam.

I'm genuinely confused why this company is still in business. I was about to make a purchase but decided to check out the reviews first, and wow, nobody has anything positive to say. It sounds like getting your money back after returning items is nearly impossible. This reminds me of what Fashion Nova used to be like before they got hit with legal action and finally cleaned things up. Why would any company try to pull this on hardworking customers? The excuses just keep piling up whenever someone asks where their refund is. And there was that whole data breach situation that some customers brought up, but the company ignored those complaints while responding to everything else. Please be careful with this place. Don't waste your money with this company. I ordered two pairs of biker shorts and leggings. My order took 8 days to show up, and when it did, one pair of blue shorts had a stain. They also sent me a sports bra with the same print as the leggings, but not the actual leggings. I called to ask about the missing leggings and was told they were out of stock. So why charge me $108 for something you don't even have? Then they tell me I have to go to the post office myself to return the wrong sports bra because they won't arrange a pickup. I have to deal with their mistake? They offered $20 in store credit, which doesn't help since nothing costs that little. Why would I buy anything else from you? When I asked for a manager, the rep actually asked why. Really? To discuss how badly this was handled. You should refund me for the leggings you never sent and don't have in stock anyway.

This has been a complete disaster. I sent back my return over a month ago and the tracking keeps showing delays week after week. This is totally unacceptable. I need my refund but I can't reach anyone in customer service to help resolve this. I'm definitely not ordering from here again.

I used to be a loyal customer but things have changed since the pandemic hit. Customer service has really taken a nosedive. I mailed back two items in mid-November using their prepaid label, but it's now December and I still haven't seen a refund. That's nearly 30 days, which is way too long even accounting for pandemic shipping delays. When I emailed customer service, the back and forth with the representative was incredibly frustrating. My order info was clearly stated, yet they emailed asking for it again. Another email asked which items I returned, even though that's already in their system since you have to select items to get a return label. The latest message says they're checking with the warehouse. Each email takes a day, so this is dragging things out even more. It feels deliberate to keep my $300+ stuck with them. So when my Black Friday order arrived, I immediately sent it back too. Now I've got another $300+ tied up and probably won't see that refund until January. This is completely ridiculous. Your service used to be so much better. The pandemic excuse doesn't hold up anymore.

I bought a pair of white Nike shoes from Carbon38 and they were true to size. My order showed up super fast so I could start wearing them right away. I'm already eyeing that trench coat I saw while shopping for the shoes.

These leggings are seriously fantastic. The quality is amazing and they look incredible. I've received so many compliments whenever I wear them out.

My only disappointment is that whenever I need to speak with someone, it takes forever and I end up on hold for really long stretches. I try to handle everything online, but sometimes you need to talk to an actual person and it's becoming harder and harder to reach anyone. Wait times just keep getting longer. They do end up helping me, but getting through to them is such a pain.

I had such a great experience when I needed help with a defective item. The customer service representative was super responsive and incredibly helpful with my issue. The quality of products I get every time is outstanding. Thank you Carbon 38 for being so awesome!
