  1. Visit carnival.com and browse available cruise itineraries by destination, departure date, and ship.

  3. On the booking page, look for a field labeled 'Promo Code' or 'Discount Code' and enter any active code you have.

  5. Check your email for a booking confirmation and receipt showing the discount applied to your cruise fare.

Promo Code Not Working? Try This

  • The code may have expired; check RetailCoupons.com at the top of this page to confirm the offer is still listed as active.
  • The code might be restricted to specific sailing dates, destinations, or cabin categories that do not match your booking.

Carnival Cruise Line Savings Hacks

Book during off-peak seasons

Cruise fares typically drop during shoulder seasons and winter months outside major holiday periods. Combining an off-peak booking with a promo code can result in more substantial savings.

Stack onboard credit offers

Carnival frequently offers onboard credit as part of promotions. This can be used for beverages, dining packages, shore excursions, and other extras, effectively lowering your total vacation cost.

Book early for future sailings

Carnival often advertises discounts and reduced deposits for cruises booked several months in advance, allowing you to secure a lower rate before prices climb closer to departure.

Check for group booking discounts

If traveling with a larger party, inquire about group rates or group promo codes, which may offer per-person savings beyond standard promotions.

Carnival Cruise Line Shipping Policy

Carnival Cruise Line does not ship physical products; instead, passengers receive their cruise documents, boarding passes, and any digital materials via email. Travelers are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the designated port of departure before the cruise begins.

Carnival Cruise Line Returns & Refund Policy

Cruise bookings are generally subject to Carnival's cancellation policy, which varies by fare type and booking date. Shoppers should review the specific terms and conditions at the time of booking, as refund eligibility and any penalties depend on how far in advance the cancellation occurs and the cabin category selected.

Carnival Cruise Line FAQ

Does Carnival offer promo codes regularly?
Carnival runs promotions throughout the year, though availability and terms vary by season and sailing. Check RetailCoupons.com often to see what offers are currently live, as deals rotate in from Carnival's affiliate programs regularly.
Are there promo codes for first-time cruisers?
Carnival occasionally features promotions aimed at new guests, including discounted fares or onboard credits. Review the offers listed at the top of this page to see if any first-time passenger deals are active.
Can I use a promo code on an existing reservation?
Most codes apply only to new bookings rather than modifications to reservations already made. Contact Carnival directly to ask whether an existing booking can be adjusted to reflect a current promotion.
What if my promo code does not work at checkout?
Verify that the code has not expired by checking this page, ensure it is entered without typos or extra spaces, and confirm it applies to your specific sailing date and cabin type. If problems persist, Carnival's customer service team can help troubleshoot or manually apply the discount.

Advertised cruise fares typically do not include taxes, fees, and port charges, which are added during checkout. Promo codes may reduce the base fare, but taxes and mandatory fees are calculated separately.
How far in advance should I book to get the best deal?
Cruise pricing generally decreases as the sailing date approaches, but early booking promotions may offer better value. Monitoring Carnival's offerings and RetailCoupons.com for emerging deals can help you time your purchase strategically.

Carnival Cruise Line shoppers are sharply divided in their experiences. About half of reviewers rated their cruises five stars and praised friendly booking agents and overall enjoyment, though some noted they would like to take another trip. However, the other half reported serious problems: dirty cabins, malfunctioning locks, complete Wi-Fi outages lasting days, food quality issues causing illness, noise and smoke disturbance from other guests, billing errors, and frustration with customer service responses to complaints and policy changes.

Common complaints suggest systemic issues beyond individual bad luck. Reviewers mentioned that newer, undertrained crew members affected service quality, that security failed to address onboard incidents appropriately, and that policies communicated by phone (such as rescheduling fees) were not honored as promised. While some shoppers expressed willingness to give Carnival another chance, others felt let down badly by the company's handling of their concerns.

We'd taken several Carnival cruises before and enjoyed them, but this trip was really the worst we've experienced. Our cabin area had constant problems with other guests creating noise and commotion throughout the day and night. We also dealt with cigarette smoke drifting into our room at odd hours, even though neither of us smoke. When I tried to report it to Guest Services, I kept getting transferred around and calls would drop after being on hold forever. On top of that there were mix-ups with food orders and items we dropped off for laundry disappeared. Once we got home I reached out to address these problems. They acknowledged the smoking situation but after that the back and forth just stopped, and nothing really got sorted out.

It was a really good time overall. Unfortunately I got charged for an excursion twice, which shouldn't have happened. The food made both me and my grandma pretty sick for the duration of the trip. I was told this sailing had a newer crew that was still in training, and honestly you could tell. I'd like to give it another shot.

Zero stars because that's what my experience deserves. Carnival Cruise Lines let me down badly. I had to bail on my cruise suddenly because of legitimate health problems. I called first to ask about rescheduling and was assured I could shift my booking for only fifty bucks per person. That sounded doable given what was happening, so I felt relieved knowing there was a way forward. When I phoned back to lock in the change, I got completely different information, which turned out to be a seven hundred dollar penalty instead. I was stunned. I asked for a manager and talked with someone in the resolution department who basically blew me off. Then I was told to submit my medical records to a team for review, which I did right away with a full explanation and proof of my condition. Even after providing legitimate medical documentation and being given wrong info by their rep, they refused to give me any future cruise credit. Nobody took responsibility for feeding me false information and no one showed any compassion for a real medical crisis. Life gets complicated sometimes and

My cruise on the Carnival Firenze was a complete disaster and terrible from start to finish. By the second day, the internet and Wi-Fi went out completely across the whole ship. For two solid days passengers had no Wi-Fi access and couldn't watch on demand programming or reach guest services to handle business. The app also wasn't working so we couldn't message anybody. Our room steward didn't bring the items we requested. In the dining areas the staff hovered over you like they were rushing you to finish eating so they could clean up your table, which made dining feel stressful and unwelcoming. I've tried contacting Carnival multiple times asking about compensation and never received a single response to any of my complaints. This is the last time I'm sailing with Carnival because the way they operate shows zero respect for passengers and their support system is not up to standards.

I wish I could rate them lower than one star because they deserve it. The stateroom was filthy with stains on the furniture and the door lock didn't work. An incident occurred on board involving my wife and another passenger that security completely ignored. When I stepped in to help her, I was the one who got blamed. She's a woman of color and was assaulted by someone else, yet he faced zero consequences, which makes me wonder if race played a part. The crew looked completely exhausted and underpaid like they were being worked way too hard for too little. I've been on multiple cruises and it's now crystal clear that Carnival is only interested in grabbing your cash and nothing else.

Just locked in our winter getaway. The booking agent was really friendly and went out of her way to help. We're pumped about this!

Our family had to cancel our cruise for reasons totally out of our hands, but Carnival was incredibly rigid and unsympathetic. As green card holders with family origins in Iran, our immigration lawyer told us it wasn't advisable to travel given government-related travel limitations. Additionally, my doctor provided written documentation that I was not medically fit to fly or cruise. Even with both legal and medical proof in hand, Carnival only gave back $350 and made us forfeit $1,250. They flat out rejected any offer of a future cruise credit. We weren't even asking for our full money back in cash, just the chance to apply it later when conditions improved. This created a real financial burden and left our kids devastated since they'd been looking forward to this trip for months. This wasn't careless planning or us changing our minds on a whim. We had legitimate medical and government reasons. The way Carnival handled everything showed a complete lack of understanding and basic fairness, which really bothered us. I'd caution families to think twice before booking with Carnival if you value decent customer service when life throws you a curveball.

Our Carnival cruise aboard the Sunshine turned out to be really unsafe and underwhelming overall. Starting from day one we noticed mold and grime throughout our stateroom. My daughter suffers from asthma and began having serious breathing problems and coughing fits while in the cabin, which completely stopped once she went outside. My husband also struggled with his breathing the whole time. Around the middle of the trip we discovered water that smelled moldy leaking out from under the sink and pooling across the bathroom floor. When maintenance came they basically tried to hide it with tissues instead of fixing it properly. The air filter was disgusting and clearly hadn't been serviced in ages. Even after they swapped it out, they left dirt all over our mattress and carpet. We documented everything with photos. Carnival first denied seeing any mold, then offered an onboard credit and gift card, and after I filed complaints elsewhere they offered some discount on future trips. The food and shows were just okay, and while the port stops were nice, that filthy unsafe cabin really ruined the whole thing. Carnival won't admit responsibility for what happened. My family's health was put at risk and their weak offer to make it right is insulting. We won't cruise with them again.

We wrapped up our first week long cruise on the Carnival Glory and had such a fantastic time. The crew treated us incredibly well with genuine respect and jumped on anything we needed. We felt secure at every port we docked at. I worried the days at sea would be boring but that wasn't the case, we stayed busy having fun from sunrise to sunset. The value was great. Between the restaurants and various dining spots we ate constantly. I walked off that ship probably twelve pounds heavier. The food quality was really outstanding. If you're looking for a fun cruise at a good price, go with Carnival. What a wonderful trip.

I want to start by thanking everyone at this company for everything they do. Over the years I've cruised with Carnival repeatedly and every single time has been fantastic. From the moment I booked my reservation all the way through to special promotions after getting home, it's been first rate. I had a cruise lined up but unfortunately needed to cancel today because I accepted a job offer I couldn't turn down. I did lose my onboard credit and some money in fees, which I totally understand given the short notice. I hadn't purchased insurance since I've never run into problems before. I'm hoping there might be a way to get some kind of credit applied to reschedule for later in the year. Thanks so much for everything you folks do.

The Carnival Magic was absolutely stunning and I had a blast. Spending time in the youth club area and getting to know the staff there made the whole trip unforgettable. Those people were genuinely wonderful and made me feel so welcome. It's an experience I'll treasure forever and I wish I could stay in touch with everyone I met.

Carnival Cruise Lines was a really enjoyable experience for me.

The Carnival Sensation delivered an amazing experience that I'd rate a perfect ten across the board. Every staff member we ran into went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our cabin attendant was incredibly attentive from the second we checked in and did a phenomenal job. The cruise director kept the energy up and had everyone entertained constantly. At dinner our servers were genuinely fun people who treated us fantastic and actually remembered our names and what we liked. The whole team in the dining area made our evenings special. We got to enjoy an excursion with snorkeling and stingray encounters in the islands that was absolutely fantastic. The tour guides were knowledgeable, made everyone feel at ease, and kept things entertaining from start to finish. I couldn't recommend the Sensation or that particular excursion more highly to anyone looking for a great cruise experience.

These cruises are awesome, and the price point is solid. You get incredible food and top notch service while traveling to amazing places and seeing new things. Zero stress on the ship, only pure fun and good times from beginning to end.

I normally like to keep things low-key but I took a chance on Carnival through a discount travel site and was blown away by how good everything was. The food quality exceeded my expectations and the staff treated everyone with real care.
