Got turned away because I'm under 18, and I'm 17. I just wanted to buy some earrings. This is ridiculous.

Claire's in Ireland has let me down more than once. Bought my daughter an expensive character backpack that had a broken zipper within three weeks. Got her an anklet for about twelve euros and it fell apart after wearing it just a few times. Other items have had issues too. Most stores actually ask for your contact info to build loyalty programs, but they don't seem to do that either.

My visit to the store location was really disappointing. I bought two hair clips and paid six dollars each. I thought the price was steep, so I asked about it and the worker basically said they don't control pricing. Later that same day I checked the website and found the exact same clips on sale for two forty. The price gap between the physical store and online is ridiculous and indefensible. I wish I'd looked at reviews first because Claire's clearly has a serious reputation problem.

Seriously Claire's? Low quality items, super high prices, staff that's rude and clearly not trained, and customers ending up with infected piercings. This place needs to shut down permanently. It's hands down the worst shopping experience I've ever had.

Took my baby to get ears pierced and was really nervous about how it would go, but Michaela and Dana made the whole experience amazing. My little one didn't shed a single tear. Really impressed with how they handled everything.

Bought something at the store a few months back for a costume party, but didn't end up needing it. Two days later I came back to return it with everything still in the original bag and receipt. The manager asked for a number from the back of my card, said it didn't match the receipt, and basically accused me of stealing it from someone (the item was only around eleven euros). When I mentioned that the number might be different because I used a mobile payment method, she insisted it doesn't work that way and refused the return. Any retail worker should know that card numbers can vary, and I confirmed online later that they absolutely do. This person was supposedly a manager but had no idea what she was talking about. Terrible place to shop and she was incredibly disrespectful.

Never experienced such poor customer service. Bought my granddaughter a water bottle for Christmas that cost twenty dollars, but it arrived cracked. They won't replace it because of their sixty day return window, and they're measuring from when I placed the order, not when I actually received it. Terrible service all around. I won't be shopping with them again. Really awful.

Went in for my two year old to get her ears pierced. The first staff member was helpful and really nice. I asked if I could record a video to keep as a memory since I've seen other people do it there. But then a senior employee shut that down. My daughter was getting fussy and uncomfortable during the piercing, which I feel is pretty normal. So what's the actual policy on this? I left pretty unhappy about how things went. The overall service was okay, but it could've been a better experience. If I misunderstood something, I apologize.

I'd give zero stars if it was possible. My wife asked an employee about getting our daughter's ears pierced that day. The staff member just smirked, pointed at a sign, and didn't say anything. We'd already read the sign that's why we asked, plus it had happened before that staff wasn't trained for piercings. When my wife pointed out the rudeness and explained why she was asking, the employee got defensive and just kept saying 'it's on the sign.' My wife was over it so we started to leave. I turned back and asked for the manager. She said she was the manager. I asked for her name and she literally said 'don't worry about it.' Are you kidding me? This is what customer service has become? Our eight year old daughter had finally decided she wanted her ears pierced and chose Claire's because she loved the store. Not anymore. We're done shopping there. This whole interaction was unprofessional and showed such a bad attitude.

Had a really bad experience with the piercer. My 5 year old's ears came out completely uneven. That's honestly all I need to say about it.

Just don't. Stay away. Avoid it.

Placed another order because my previous one went smoothly, and this time was great too. Shipping took a little longer, probably due to the holiday rush, but that's understandable. The packaging could use some work though, at least nothing broke this time. They really should focus on better packaging materials and improving their tracking system so customers know when to expect their items.

Absolutely would recommend. They did an amazing job piercing my 15 month old daughter's ears. One hundred percent happy with it.

If you're ordering from Claire's and shipping to Ireland, watch out for surprise customs fees. After visiting a local shop and not finding what I needed, I ordered a couple backpacks online. Waited two weeks and then got hit with a customs charge on top of what I already paid. Won't be ordering from there again.

Jamie working at the mall location was absolutely wonderful. Super kind, really sweet, and went out of the way to help me out.
