Really wanted to enjoy DavidsTEA but their US shipping situation is just not working. Placed an order the end of November and got countless emails saying it was delayed but still being processed. Mid-January I got notified the order was in transit but it never showed up. After reaching out to customer service, which felt like pulling teeth, I found out the package had been sitting at my local post office the whole time. Got it on the 15th. The tea itself is fine, but I missed having my Christmas tea during the actual holidays because of these shipping problems.

Used to be a big fan of David's Tea products but my latest purchase experience will definitely be my last. Ordered sale items on December 1st and on the 6th got an email about shipping delays which seemed reasonable. After it supposedly shipped on December 9th the tracking never updated and there was zero communication. When I reached out to customer service they claimed the package was already in my town, but the online tracking showed no such thing. For ten days the location didn't change at all, then suddenly I got a random partial refund with no explanation. Apparently items were out of stock but nobody bothered to tell me until I asked. The whole experience was terrible with slow shipping, cheap carriers, and basically no communication. Not returning to David's Tea.

Shop anywhere else but here. I was a loyal customer for years but they've really declined. I get that shipping takes longer sometimes but three different orders over three months all went missing in transit and that's unacceptable. Finally got through to an actual person and requested my money back. I've received one refund so far but I'm still waiting on two others. Getting anyone on the phone is nearly impossible, and their shipper is equally unresponsive. Might have to dispute the charges with my card company at this point. Not worth this headache over tea. I'm done shopping here.

Quality has really nosedived overall with this company. Had a terrible time with their support team when I ordered tea back in November. A Canada Post strike caused delays and after six weeks with absolutely no updates I sent a message to customer service. They never replied. After several more attempts over two and a half months I finally got an email saying my order had been delivered and the issue was resolved, except that wasn't actually true. The order status showed it had been reordered instead. I asked for some compensation since they weren't honest and the whole ordeal took months, but they just sent back a generic email saying they were glad I got my tea. The whole situation was frustrating. Their stock is limited and this is hands down the worst customer service I've encountered. I've switched to another Canadian tea company and the service and selection are both significantly better. I'd recommend making the switch too.

I'd give negative stars if I could. Really wish I'd read these reviews first before placing an order. Put in my order on January 6th and it shipped January 10th but then bounced all over the country before finally landing on January 29th. The reason for all the travel was that the box had shipping labels for two completely different customers and addresses on opposite sides. And here's the worst part, it wasn't even my order when it arrived. They have zero phone support and just send automatic messages saying they're too busy to respond. Probably too busy dealing with everyone else's complaints.

Bought Christmas gifts during Black Friday sale but never got the package. Now they're refusing to tell me when I'll receive a refund. They seem to be avoiding my messages entirely.

Absolutely abysmal customer service combined with poor business practices. Their new rewards system is a disaster and they have the nerve to accept orders they don't actually ship. I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company and won't be purchasing anything from them in the future.

Not sure what changed with David's Tea but after being a customer for years I took a break for a couple years. Ordered end of year gifts for my team earlier this month and my package has been stuck in transit ever since. What really frustrates me is they're shipping it from basically the same city, practically the same neighborhood, yet it's been three weeks with FedEx and still hasn't arrived when it used to show up in under two days. I've seen this is a widespread problem online so I won't be ordering from them anymore and just hoping this order eventually makes it to me.

I stopped shopping with DavidsTea years ago yet they refuse to stop bothering me with emails. Over many years I've asked to be removed from their mailing list but nothing changes. Requested account deletion in 2022 and was told it was complete. That didn't stick because now I'm getting their messages again. I've pleaded multiple times to never contact me and erase my data. Every time I unsubscribe or attempt to close my account, eventually more marketing emails show up in my inbox.

Haven't been a DavidsTea customer for a long time yet they keep emailing me constantly. I've tried unsubscribing repeatedly over the years with no luck. I even asked for my account to be deleted back in 2022 and was assured it was handled. Now the spam started up again and their customer support is completely unhelpful. I've made request after request to stop contacting me and remove my information, I keep hitting unsubscribe and trying to delete my account, but the emails keep coming back.

Initial purchase went smoothly until I relocated and needed to update my delivery address before shipment. Unfortunately when I tried to contact their team through their online channels to fix the address, nobody responded. Couldn't get any assistance at all.

Ordered a knitted tea mug through their website and when it arrived the construction quality was really poor and the lid didn't fit properly. Sent an email to their customer service explaining the problem but they said the product was fine as is and refused to accept a return since I'd bought it on clearance.

I absolutely loved David's Tea and recommended it to everyone, but that's changed. Made a purchase in early February with enough items to qualify for free shipping. The order arrived incomplete and I was still charged for shipping. Tried contacting customer service multiple times through late February using their website forms and social media with no responses. Beyond that, the tea quality has gone downhill. The loose leaves need double the amount now to taste decent, and I need three or four bags to make a good cup. Really sad to see this company decline so much. Honestly would advise skipping this brand. Should have checked reviews beforehand but having experienced it myself, save your money. Won't be ordering from them again.

I'm on the same page as everyone else giving bad reviews. Wanted to form my own opinion and unfortunately my experience confirms everything. My son gave me some of their tea as a Christmas gift and I liked it enough to order more myself. The site is poorly designed and they don't follow through with the promotions they advertise. Orders arrive with wrong items and when you complain, nobody believes you. It's clear the company doesn't value customer satisfaction and staff lack proper training. Not ordering from them anymore since it's more hassle than it's worth and the product quality isn't impressive enough to justify the trouble.

Absolutely terrible customer service and I won't be buying from David's Tea ever again. Dropped a significant amount of money but couldn't reach an actual person by phone. Got stuck with bots on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter instead. Incredibly frustrating and unacceptable!
