Total fraud! They took $360 from me before I even properly set up my account on March 24. My credit card company later informed me they'd been charging me since January 19.

I was charged $229.72 for a subscription connected to a second account I didn't even realize I had. When I found out about the duplicate charge, I looked into it and discovered I'd accidentally created another account with a different email address I rarely use. I right away cancelled that subscription and let Domestika know about my mistake. Since I never actually logged into or used that extra account, I shouldn't have been billed for it. When I contacted their customer service team to explain what happened, all I got back was a standard template response. They didn't look into the problem or do anything to fix it. This whole situation has left me frustrated. Charging customers for subscriptions on accounts they don't use and ignoring the issue when customers reach out is not okay.

UPDATE (April 1, 2026): Domestika claims they sent an email back in November 2025. That's not a real excuse. Email Not Enough: A generic email five months before doubling my price doesn't count as proper notice for a recurring charge. Card networks like Visa and Mastercard require that significant price hikes come with explicit approval from the customer or at least a clear reminder right before they take the money. Charge Without Approval: They pulled $329 straight from my card and gave me no checkout screen or confirmation dialog. This is deceptive. Not Worth It Anyway: I haven't actually used this service in two years. Hitting me with double the cost for something I'm not even using is unfair and predatory. Your terms can't override laws that protect consumers from shady billing. I've already sent everything to my bank to start a chargeback. Give me my money back.

Their own records would show zero activity on my account, yet they keep taking my money through auto-renewal. False Promises: Customer support said they'd get back to me within 48 hours but never did. Domestika needs to give me that $329 back immediately.

This gives you a solid understanding of how to move from a starting idea all the way through to a finished set of images. If you're not super comfortable in Illustrator, having a quick one-page reference with the key steps and software settings would be helpful.

Great overview of how the whole process flows from initial concept through to the final completed images. For people who aren't as comfortable using Illustrator, a single-page reference guide with the key steps and settings would be a nice bonus.

Everything was explained in a clear and engaging way with tons of helpful information. Would love to see a follow-up course to this one.

The instruction is thorough yet easy to follow and actually gets results. In my opinion it beats what you'd get in a traditional classroom setting.

Maddy Bellwar's Landscape Painting for Beginners was such a rewarding experience. She teaches with clarity and breaks down gouache painting into manageable, understandable pieces. You can tell she really knows her stuff with this medium. I especially appreciated how she discussed color values and techniques that translate well to other painting styles. Taking this course was definitely the right call.

There's a ton of variety in the course selection and all the learning materials available. It's been a great platform for building different creative skills. I've been a member for a couple years and picked up a surprising amount.
