Josephine deserves a promotion

Greetings to whom it make concern, I had a problem with the online booking going from Rome to Boston on the 17th of December 2025. I called the airlines and spoke to a very nice lady called Josphine. She was calm, polite, professional and very very helpful. She sorted out the problem almost immediately and called me back to let me know. She also sent me my boarding pass. Thank you Josephine for making a potentially bad situation light and carefree. (By the way, both her Italian and English are very good)

Absolutely no issues!

Absolutely no issues!Travelled with my wife London City to Rome and then Rome to Athens. I only read the reviews here after booking my tickets so was quite apprehensive. However both flights were punctual to the minute, checked bags arrived as expected and check in was swift and polite. Overall a great experience.I noted a few complaints here about old planes, checking the models ours were all 2020 on wards, in one plane the seats were coloured cream and did look a bit grubby, wrong choice of colour.

I know we often tend to leave feedback only when we’re upset and expecting a quick response from the company. This time, however, I’d like to share a sincere compliment for ITA Airways. Yesterday (September 28, 2025), I arrived too early at Fiumicino, and the staff kindly allowed me to move to an earlier flight instead of waiting three hours for my original one. Thanks to their team, I was able to get home earlier than expected. Grazie mille, Domenico! I will definitely choose ITA Airways again for my future trips.

Delayed but still excellent

Kind of strange to give five stars when your flight has been delayed. But upon missing our connection because the previous flight was 2 hours late Ita airways employees were already waiting for us. We didn't have to look for them or anything. We received all in (food only) vouchers for a decent hotel since it was immediately clear no other flights were available. Next day everything went smoothly. Granted, this was on our way home. If this would have happened at the start of the vacation i would have been more annoyed.The claimproces was also clear, quick and generous. Based on this experience we would definetely choose Ita airways again.

I am extremely grateful and impressed…

I am extremely grateful and impressed by my recent experience with ITA. I arrived Rome from Singapore for a connecting ITA Rome-Nice flight over 5 hours later. I enquired at the desk about an earlier flight and was promptly ticketed, ushered to check in and assisted in catching a flight which saved me a long layover. Thanks to the staff that were on that morning. I will now be flying ITA at every opportunity.John

Problem-solving

My experience was bumpy. Of the two flights that didn't go so well, the first one was a connecting flight that I barely missed due to an aircraft delay plus taking an inefficient route through the airport. ITA immediately took accountability and put me on the next flight without any additional costs. In the second instance, I had called ITA and changed the date of my returning flight (also for free, less than a month prior to departure) and upon arrival we found out that there'd been miscommunication between airlines and one of the airlines didn't know about the change. In that sense I wasn't listed as a passenger in the system, but calls were made and they managed to fix the mistake and get me on the flight still.I wish my experience had been smoother, but I believe ITA made a display of problem-solving capabilities and proactiveness despite the issues.

My second flight from Milano to Bari…

My second flight from Milano to Bari was scheduled earlier so my Exchange time was only 35 minutea at Milano. Obvisouly i was late at the gate for the Boarding. They first said, i am too late and cant proceed the Boarding anymore. I told them i only Had 35 minutes to geht from arrivals to departure and apologized for inconvinice. They then somehow managed to still get me a Boarding Card and i was able to Take flight. So thankful for the Crew 🫶 thank you so much italian Airways cabin and gate Crew 🫶🫂🫂

Best airline I’ve flown with so far

Best airline I’ve flown with so far. Did a short flight Rome to Barcelona but not only we got bumped to business class, flying 26 weeks pregnant they were extremely accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and if I needed assistance (I didn’t but it was nice they asked unlike other airlines I flew with Ethiopian airlines, Ryanair, Lufthansa). Their care was consistent on all flights and every staff member was really nice. One thing I wasn’t happy with was asking me for multiple copies of my fit to fly letter which I don’t need to provide until week 28.
