I should mention upfront that my experiences at the local Jared store near me in Maine have been really positive. Unfortunately, their online website is a different story and might be one of the worst shopping sites I've used. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but issues keep happening and I think I'm finally done. I've had two separate ring purchases where they charged me, then a week or more later told me the ring wasn't actually in stock and issued a refund. One was supposed to be a Christmas gift. This shouldn't happen. The site constantly shows items available, but once you select your size and proceed to checkout, the system removes it from your cart saying it's unavailable. Who's managing inventory? Some of these items have had this problem for weeks without explanation. To make it worse, they email you a $25 off coupon for items you abandoned, getting your hopes up. You go back on the site only to find out it's the same unavailable item. Shop at a local jewelry store or go with a different company to avoid this frustration.

What a rip off! I bought my center stone elsewhere and purchased a 10k setting from here. They set my stone in their ring and I paid for a protection plan that was supposed to keep it secure and handle cleaning and tightening. Well, my 13k stone fell out and they won't cover it because the diamond wasn't bought from them. Nobody mentioned that restriction when I signed up for the plan. Now I'm out the stone and the replacement would cost $16k to buy new. This is completely unfair and I'm looking into legal action over this deceptive practice.
