About Jared
Jared is a jewelry and watches retailer offering engagement rings, diamond jewelry, watches, and fine accessories. Shoppers search for Jared promo codes and coupons to reduce the cost of purchases on high-ticket items, with discount opportunities ranging from percentage-off deals to dollar-amount savings on specific product categories.
How to Use a Jared Promo Code
- Visit jared.com and browse jewelry, watches, or other items you want to purchase.
- Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout when ready.
- Look for a field labeled 'Promo Code,' 'Coupon Code,' or 'Gift Card' during the payment step.
- Enter your code in the designated field and click 'Apply' to see the discount reflected in your total.
- Complete your purchase with the reduced amount.
Promo Code Not Working? Try This
- The code may have expired or reached its usage limit; check the offer details for active dates.
- Some codes apply only to specific product categories or minimum purchase amounts; verify the code's restrictions match your cart.
- Codes may not combine with ongoing sales or other promotions; review the terms to confirm eligibility.
- Capitalization sometimes matters; try entering the code in all uppercase or all lowercase if the first attempt fails.
- Clearance items or final-sale merchandise may be excluded; check the fine print before applying a code.
- Your browser cache might prevent the discount from calculating properly; try clearing cookies or using an incognito window.
Jared Savings Hacks
Clearance jewelry sections often allow additional percentage-off codes. Apply a code to already-reduced items for cumulative savings on rings and watches.
Jared frequently offers dollar-amount discounts when you buy a loose diamond with a mount together, which can yield larger savings than percentage-off deals on high-value purchases.
Many Jared offers apply to purchases above certain amounts. If you are close to a higher threshold, adding a smaller item may qualify you for a better discount percentage.
Retailers in the jewelry category commonly send welcome discounts to new subscribers. Providing your email during your first visit can unlock an immediate coupon code.
Jared Shipping Policy
Jared ships orders to customers, though specific rates and thresholds vary by location and order value. Review the shipping details at checkout before finalizing your purchase, as jewelry items may have distinct handling and delivery timelines compared to standard retail goods. For valuable purchases, consider any insurance or signature-requirement options the retailer may offer.
Jared Returns & Refund Policy
Jared allows returns on most jewelry purchases within a specified return window, though high-value or custom items may have different policies. Review the retailer's return and exchange terms on its website or contact customer service before completing your order, as conditions can differ by product type and whether an item was final-sale or clearance.

Jared Reviews
Jared's reviews are sharply divided, with shoppers rating the store either very positively or very negatively. Those who praise Jared highlight attentive in-store customer service and loyal relationships with local staff. However, the majority of negative reviews center on serious issues: defective products (wrong items shipped, diamonds falling out, discoloration), poor quality control on fine jewelry, restrictive return and cancellation policies that require in-store visits, and unresponsive customer service when problems arise beyond a 30-day window. Several reviewers report that Jared refused to fix manufacturing errors or honor warranty coverage as they understood it, leaving customers frustrated and disappointed.
The pattern across complaints suggests systemic problems with online order management, product quality assurance, and after-sale support. Customers expect better service and accountability from a major jewelry retailer, particularly when purchases involve significant amounts of money. While in-store experiences sometimes earn praise, the online ordering experience and handling of disputes appear to be consistent pain points that undermine trust.
Extremely unprofessional experience. I bought an Omega watch online for $5,500 plus tax that turned out to be a modified model, making it essentially worthless. When I called to discuss it, after a long hold time they suggested I contact a local store. That was a nightmare. No manager would take my call because the purchase was over thirty days old. I'm prepared to pursue legal action to get my money back.
I ordered a necklace online and tried to cancel it within twenty minutes of placing the order, but the system wouldn't allow it. I called them the next morning at 8 am and they told me my only option was to go to a physical store to return it. I've never experienced customer service this bad from any other company.
I ordered a mother's necklace as a gift and it arrived with the wrong birthstone. When I contacted them about the error, their only solution was to process a refund. They wouldn't even fix their own mistake or send a corrected version. Very disappointing way to handle a manufacturing error.
The ring itself is gorgeous, but I've had some problems with it. It's turned my finger green several times, and after about six months, a diamond chip fell out of it. I bought this 14k gold ring as a gift to myself for starting fresh after a difficult chapter in my life, so I'm disappointed that it hasn't held up better.
I've bought several items from Jared over the years and generally appreciated the sales staff and service. However, I'm really upset about a warranty I purchased on a diamond cross. When I needed to use it, they told me that particular part wasn't covered under the warranty. I was completely confused because nobody explained these limitations when I bought it. I've also purchased a luxury watch, expensive rings, and high-end necklaces from them, so I drove four hours to the store expecting to resolve this. Instead, they told me my issue wasn't covered under the terms. Be very careful about their warranty offerings because they don't seem to stand behind them the way you'd expect. I'm a disappointed customer and won't be shopping at their stores anymore.
I'm a loyal customer of the Virginia Beach location, but I decided to check out a couple other jewelry stores last Saturday before Mother's Day weekend. At the first two places, not a single salesperson greeted me, acknowledged my presence, or said they'd be with me shortly. I walked around and left without anyone even noticing. That's when I decided to go to Jared. The moment I walked through the door, Michelle welcomed me with a genuine smile and warm greeting. She made me feel genuinely glad I was there. While I didn't absolutely need the earrings I bought, I wanted them because of the excellent customer service experience. I could've gone home empty handed and been fine, but there's no way I was spending money at places that couldn't even say hello. Jared is now my first choice for all jewelry shopping.
Since mid-January we've been dealing with frustrating delays at our local gallery regarding an opal ring. The stone fell off and we sent it in for repair, but they said it couldn't be fixed and wanted $486 to replace it. They sent a replacement in February that was clearly inferior to the original, and promised we could exchange it. We never received a call about a new ring and nothing was ever shipped. After three months of back and forth, we asked for our broken ring back in early April. They refused without corporate permission, then claimed the repair shop was still working on it despite our email documentation showing it couldn't be repaired. Now we can't get our $1,300 ring back even though we own it. The runaround and contradictions have been incredibly frustrating. We would've been better off taking it to an independent jeweler instead of assuming the big name would handle it right. We're out over $1,300 and still trying to retrieve our property from this company.
I had a really frustrating customer service experience. There are two versions of the same ring listed on their site - one marked as clearance but out of stock, and another listed as preowned that costs almost $1,000 more than the new clearance price. That doesn't make sense. I asked customer service to at least match the pricing on their own listings, especially since the preowned version should be cheaper than the new one. They refused. What's also strange is that both listings show different original retail prices even though they're identical in every way - same gold, same diamonds, everything. Something feels off about how they handle pricing and inventory.
I should mention upfront that my experiences at the local Jared store near me in Maine have been really positive. Unfortunately, their online website is a different story and might be one of the worst shopping sites I've used. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but issues keep happening and I think I'm finally done. I've had two separate ring purchases where they charged me, then a week or more later told me the ring wasn't actually in stock and issued a refund. One was supposed to be a Christmas gift. This shouldn't happen. The site constantly shows items available, but once you select your size and proceed to checkout, the system removes it from your cart saying it's unavailable. Who's managing inventory? Some of these items have had this problem for weeks without explanation. To make it worse, they email you a $25 off coupon for items you abandoned, getting your hopes up. You go back on the site only to find out it's the same unavailable item. Shop at a local jewelry store or go with a different company to avoid this frustration.
Tod was fantastic to work with - knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely kind. He spent time with us without rushing and answered every question thoroughly. His expertise gave us confidence in his suggestions. After nearly 40 years of marriage, we needed our wedding rings resized and he handled our sentimental pieces with such care and respect. We really appreciate everything he did and would definitely recommend this store, especially for working with Tod.
What a rip off! I bought my center stone elsewhere and purchased a 10k setting from here. They set my stone in their ring and I paid for a protection plan that was supposed to keep it secure and handle cleaning and tightening. Well, my 13k stone fell out and they won't cover it because the diamond wasn't bought from them. Nobody mentioned that restriction when I signed up for the plan. Now I'm out the stone and the replacement would cost $16k to buy new. This is completely unfair and I'm looking into legal action over this deceptive practice.
I ordered a pendant with my kids' names engraved on it and received it with the names in the wrong order and one name completely missing. Customer service gave me a discount code to reorder. I returned the flawed piece and placed a new order. When the replacement arrived today, it had the exact same problems - names missing and out of order. I contacted customer service again and they were unhelpful this time around. I will absolutely not be ordering engraved items from this company online again.
I brought my rings in for a quick inspection and found out my larger diamond had come loose. Sonya was incredibly patient and kind throughout the process. They kept the ring overnight to tighten and polish it, and best of all, they expedited the work so my husband and I would have it for our trip Sunday. Everything was covered under the warranty too. Their customer service really is fantastic!
Outstanding service from start to finish. After 51 years, my spouse finally agreed to upgrade her wedding ring. The team, particularly Alaura, didn't just meet expectations but really exceeded them and brought her vision to life beautifully. My spouse has never looked happier with a piece of jewelry. We're incredibly grateful for the professional care and attention.
