I had the same problem as a lot of other people with J Lo Beauty. The website said I'd get new shipments about every three months, but one showed up in just one month and cost three times what I paid the first time. I didn't even open it and wanted to send it back. But customer service said I'd have to cover shipping costs both ways. I stopped the subscription, but the very next day I got a notice that they were sending me another box for $308.49!

This company is absolutely terrible. I spent $90 on a gift box for my girlfriend for Christmas and they've charged me $90 four times. I caught the charges and called their awful customer service asking why I was being billed repeatedly. The rep told me 'you didn't read the fine print in the terms and conditions' like I was being pranked or something. Turns out they created a Christmas package but buried in the terms and conditions that it's actually a $390 subscription. I told them to stop the next charges and that I'd send back what I got. They said okay. Next month rolls around and I get charged AGAIN! I finally had to call my bank, dispute the charges, and put a stop payment on the account. It's insane. Do not buy from them.

I ordered something in December without realizing it automatically puts you in a subscription. Come November, I saw another box was scheduled to ship. I tried to cancel right away, but there's no way to do it online. The only option is calling. They claim you can manage your subscription easily, but you can only pause or change dates, not actually cancel without talking to someone. So I call them. The rep told me three different times that they'd pause my shipment, asked how much product I had left, and said they'd hold it until June. I kept saying, 'No, I want to cancel,' but they weren't listening. I was about ready to just cancel my credit card at that point. Finally they said it was canceled and sent me confirmation. It's sketchy how they automatically sign you up without making it obvious, and there's no simple cancel button. You have to call customer service and deal with them trying everything to keep you as a customer.

I ordered the Facial Effects Kit. Some items were decent, others definitely weren't. The cleanser has a really strong perfume smell and it dried out my skin. The moisturizer felt kind of waxy though it did provide decent hydration. The eye mask pads were nice and hydrating with some caffeine, but the main component is hyaluronic acid which you can find in tons of products. The formulas have a lot of synthetic ingredients so it's probably not the best option out there. It looks really nice in the box and feels expensive, but I'd rather have better ingredient quality. Watch out because you get automatically signed up for a subscription, though I have to say canceling mine was pretty easy.

I really loved the JLo kit! I got one as a gift at first and liked it so much I bought another one. The fine lines and wrinkles on my forehead and around my eyes have gotten way better! My skin is pretty sensitive too, and the nice smell from the face wash and moisturizer doesn't bother it at all. I was really happy to discover that. I plan to keep ordering this kit.

These products are fantastic! My skin has really improved and the cleanser smells amazing while delivering excellent results. Definitely worth trying!

I ordered the complete JLO product set and was really disappointed. The products are super greasy and made my pores clog up, giving me breakouts and irritation. Their account portal keeps going down so you can't update anything on your subscription. That leaves you stuck using their chat, and you need to budget like 30 minutes minimum every time you contact them. Their refund process is sketchy too. I followed the return steps after chatting with support, and they said seven business days to refund. Three weeks after my stuff got delivered to them, nothing had happened. Customer service finally said they're processing it once I gave them my tracking info. Then when I asked for my refund total, it was just one payment instead of the three monthly payments they told me I'd get back after they received the products. Since they ship a three-month supply but charge monthly, this made a big difference in what I got back.
