This is one of the worst airlines I've flown. The aircraft was in terrible condition - busted tray tables, broken seat reclines, and a completely dead entertainment system on my 13-hour flight from Seoul to Warsaw. Beverage service was practically nonexistent with only two small cups given per person. If you wanted a drink, you had to get up and walk to the galley yourself. Food was brought out at takeoff and again after 10 hours. That's wholly inadequate for that length of flight. When I filed a complaint after landing and asked for partial reimbursement on my expensive ticket, I got a dismissive response that you can't address every issue and that was the end of it. I have serious concerns about the actual maintenance standards for your fleet. I'm finished with this airline.

The space is cramped, seating isn't comfortable, food selections are minimal, and there aren't nearly enough bathrooms for passengers.

Rebook me 7 days earlier or later on that exact same route, which has the identical impossible timing every single weekday. They're basically offering to make me miss my connection on a different day instead of rebooking me through their Star Alliance partner. When I asked about other options, they either ignored me or pushed me toward getting a refund. If you're counting on a reliable Star Alliance connection, you'll be let down here. This airline seems to systematically ignore passenger protections under EU regulations.

When I asked what drinks were available on Sofia to Warsaw, the attendant pointed to the cart without much enthusiasm. On the Warsaw to London flight though, the crew member enthusiastically described every beverage option. Those attendants deserve recognition for their hospitality. The pilots were excellent too - we had nearly a 2-hour delay and they communicated clearly about what caused it, which really helped passengers stay patient. You also get full seat selection during booking without forced upgrades.

That transparency made all the difference in keeping everyone calm. Plus, during online check-in you get to choose from all available seats without being pressured to pay extra.

Terrible experience with your check-in system. I had to show up at the airport early just to check in manually. The system won't let me swap out my ID for my passport. Your online check-in process is completely broken.

At the gate, I was forced to surrender my carry-on bag and have it placed in cargo, even though I told them it held irreplaceable personal items and valuables. The stress and worry during the entire flight was overwhelming. This was coercive and careless handling by your staff. No compassion shown whatsoever toward passenger concerns. I felt like my belongings and my peace of mind simply didn't matter. I will not be flying with this airline again.

Your baggage handlers destroyed my suitcase and refused to accept any responsibility for the damage.

Never had complaints with LOT people. I've experienced way worse with KLM where flights that should take 8 hours stretched to 16. Western European carriers are always understaffed with pilots and crew, constantly lose baggage, and have perpetual delays. Central European airlines like yours do just as well or better. My friends all fly Western European carriers and they constantly lose bags and miss connections. Since covid things got even worse everywhere with cancellations.

I cannot speak highly enough of station manager Tomasz and his colleague Cynthia at Los Angeles airport. They spent two full hours working through an incredibly complicated ticketing problem that your customer service team simply couldn't resolve despite 10 different phone calls. Their professionalism and dedication completely changed my mind about this airline. I was ready to never book with LOT again, but these two showed me what true customer service looks like. My sincere gratitude to both of them.

I had some doubts after reading negative reviews, but my experience turned out great. Yes, there was a 30-minute delay, but that happens with just about every airline these days. The crew was friendly and professional. The plane itself was absolutely wonderful - brand new, immaculate, with premium leather seating throughout. Every seat had a personal table with USB charging and a power outlet. The flight crew really made up for the delay by pushing to arrive on schedule. I honestly have nothing negative to say. The flight was smooth and the landing was flawless. Very satisfied with my trip.
