The assembly support here is basically non-existent, which is completely unacceptable. This bench has so many individual pieces and there's no video walkthrough to help you put it together. The customer service experience in the US was even worse with rude and unhelpful staff. This says a lot about what Marcy thinks of their customers. They sold you the product but then left you hanging after purchase. That's just bad business.

I bought the Marcy model MKM-81030 and if the assembly instructions are any reflection of the product quality, then there's no rating low enough. I had no problem putting the frame together, but the cable and pulley setup? That's where things fell apart. The instructions for that part make absolutely no sense.

This piece of equipment is sturdy and straightforward to operate. Expecting to get a lot of good use out of it. Really appreciate it.

I ordered a Marcy upright exercise bike and it showed up on time, but when I opened the box I found one pedal just loose inside with no protection around it. I didn't think much of it at first, so I went ahead with assembly. The right pedal went on fine, but the left one had damaged threads on the end so it wouldn't screw on properly. Now I have a loose pedal and a bike I can't fully assemble without major work. This is an American company but I can't get anyone on the phone. I've left tickets and haven't heard back. I'm really disappointed and won't be buying from them again. I'd tell everyone I know to avoid this company.

The quality here is not acceptable. I have the Olympic bench model 857 and the pegs that secure the bar are way too long at 4 inches. Every time I pick up the bar I'm hitting those pegs. They should be around 2 inches to properly catch the bar. I contacted customer service but they said there's nothing they can do about it. I really need pegs that actually work for this bench.

Marcy pulls every trick in the book to keep your money. I accidentally ordered the wrong model bike (ME-708 instead of ME-709) and called them two days later to cancel. They said it had already shipped and I'd have to pay $55 for return shipping plus a restocking fee. That was false - their website showed it hadn't shipped yet and my payment was still pending according to my credit card company. My dispute was upheld, but then Marcy rebilled me for parts of the original charge anyway. I ended up paying $57 for shipping and $25 restocking, and only got $114 back, losing money overall. They won't tell you the truth about anything. I paid almost $170 for this order and they only gave me back $114 after my credit card company investigated. Be careful dealing with this company.

Even before assembly, I'm frustrated with Marcy's whole setup. Their registration process is honestly terrible. You literally have to write everything out in an email since that's the only way to reach their support team. And of course it doesn't even work properly. Good luck trying to solve a real problem through email with them. It's clear they just don't care. I'm seriously considering returning this right now before I deal with more headaches.

This shipment arrived with completely wrong screws, so I had to use zip ties to hold the whole thing together. Marcy is just another company making junk products. This is genuinely one of the worst things I've ever purchased and I'm really frustrated with how it arrived.

He was really impressed because it's the first piece of equipment in a long time where he could just follow the directions step by step and everything fit together perfectly. It even came with all the tools needed. He said it's built really well. We had a different brand years ago that was decent, but this Marcy is even better quality. I was nervous about the price tag, but my husband convinced me it was worth every penny. I'm excited to start using it to build muscle and get in shape. Highly recommend this one!

Buying home gym equipment from this company is genuinely risky. The welding quality is terrible and if you load weight on something that's not properly welded, it could break and hurt you. Even the seat support is badly welded. My BE1000 barbell bench had the preacher curl attachment snap off when I added 25kg to it after just a month of use. When I tried to use their warranty, they told me they don't send replacement parts to customers outside the US. If you're not in America, stay away from this brand. They don't care about customer safety and most parts aren't even properly welded on.

Really disappointed with the quality control on this equipment. A major welded component came completely off-center - hanging over half an inch on one side while being flush on the other. The whole thing isn't level or straight at all. Because of how badly the welding job was done, my machine tilts to the left. How does a company ship out products without checking them first?

Just got the Marcy Smith Machine and Cage System and this thing is absolutely solid. At 600 pounds of heavy-duty steel, it took a while to put together but totally worth the effort. You could pretty much ditch your gym membership because you've got everything you need right at home. Plus shipping arrived in just 7 days which was fantastic. Definitely money well spent.

Picked up a Marcy incline bench at a local store and the price was reasonable. I worried the quality might suffer at that price point, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything in the box looked solid and well-made, and putting it together was simple and straightforward. Marcy just isn't the brand it used to be. I bought a Marcy Onyx 80 elliptical trainer 10 days ago and had to return it yesterday because the flywheel completely failed. The third party supplier who handles replacements actually called me right away and was honest that they have had issues with the flywheels, so I decided to go for a full refund instead. The only good thing about this machine was how simple it was to assemble and it did work fine for the short time I used it. I'm going to hold off and save up for something else later when there are better options available and prices come down. My advice is to stay away from this brand for now, or at least keep your box if you do buy one. Marcy used to be a solid name but their quality has clearly gone downhill.

The equipment itself is pretty solid but I wish Marcy would let people know upfront that the leg adaptation attachment for model Pro 4400 is no longer made. That's really disappointing information to find out after you've already bought it.
