Went to the Mount Prospect location yesterday to find some fabric. I asked a female associate if she could cut three yards for me and she said sure. Turns out she had no clue what she was doing when it came to cutting fabric. I've been shopping for fabric across multiple stores for many decades and I've never seen someone work the measuring yard stick the way she did, constantly pushing the material away from the beginning point. I would have gotten significantly short-changed, we're talking an inch or more per yard. I stopped her and asked for a manager. That manager was dismissive, curt, and made it very clear he wasn't going to give me anything beyond the exact three yards. I won't be going back to that specific location. I miss shopping at specialty fabric stores. Frustrated and insulted by how I was treated.

Just received my shipment and I'm unhappy with the packaging quality. Among other things, I ordered a wooden easel and some ink. The ink wasn't wrapped and had popped out of its cardboard container. It's fortunate it didn't spill, but it could have ruined everything else, especially the wooden item it was sitting next to. That's lucky timing, not good handling by their team. Several of my other items were wrong or broken. A tape roll came completely out of packaging, a drawing pen kit had the pens and nibs all loose, and I got a metal ruler I never ordered. The pen and nibs ended up okay, but once again only by chance. Their packing approach is really sloppy. I get that wrong items happen occasionally, but sending an unwrapped bottle of ink is not acceptable.

Getting occasional wrong items is fine, but how do you send out an unwrapped container of ink?

The people running this business need to get a clue. Since late October I've gone in three times looking for things their website claimed were on the shelf with specific aisle information listed. Every single time, nothing was in stock. You can't find price information on items either. I asked someone about where the price checkers were and learned that corporate had them all taken out. I ordered holiday ribbon last night that their site said was available in store. This morning I got a cancellation email saying it wasn't actually in stock. That's three failed shopping trips in less than five weeks. Everyone working there looks drained and unhappy, and honestly I left feeling just as frustrated. Their online information is totally unreliable. The prices have always felt inflated. There's a Marshall's location close by that sells similar stuff for way less than what they're charging. They should probably just shut down and let customers move forward.

Management at this location needs a reality check. I've made trips there three separate times since October looking for products that showed available with exact aisle numbers on the website - and all three times the items weren't there. There are no price tags displayed anywhere. When I asked a staff member about scanners, they told me corporate had ordered them all removed. Last night I placed an online order for holiday ribbon that the site indicated was in stock. Got an email this morning saying the order was cancelled because it wasn't actually available. This has happened to me three times in roughly a month. The staff looks burnt out and frustrated, and honestly I felt the same way after wasting my time and effort. The website information just doesn't match reality. Their pricing strategy feels dishonest too. There's a Marshall's just down the street with comparable merchandise priced at a third of what they're asking. At this point they might as well close down and do everyone a favor.

I actually discovered them through Instagram while scrolling. I wasn't really into these kinds of things but I got caught up watching DIY and craft videos, and their social content got me interested in actually making something creative in my spare time. My friends must have noticed because I started getting their products as gifts from various occasions and trips. Never been one for puttering around the house, but somehow browsing their selection has made me hooked on activities like knitting, painting, and making home decor. It's honestly become such an enjoyable thing and our whole family gets involved now too. When we visited one of their physical locations, it was so cool that my family ended up converting our garage into a craft workshop space. Best decision ever!

Donna at the Leominster location in the framing section was phenomenal. She took a genuine interest in what we needed, was attentive and thoughtful throughout the whole process, and really helped us out completely. Great experience during my visit in mid-December at the Tower Plaza location.

The Roseburg location is truly excellent. I appreciate the huge range of craft options, the deals, the promotions, and the overall vibe of the place. An employee named Emalee came up to me during my visit and really stood out. She had such a positive attitude, was genuinely helpful, and so patient with me. She actually made me laugh, which is harder than you'd think. While the store didn't have the specific item I needed, Emalee went out of her way to suggest alternatives, explained how they'd work, and even shared some expert tips that made my project turn out easier and more fun, with results that looked professionally done. What a wonderful experience.

Went in on a Monday evening to look for some tee shirts. A store employee named Maria noticed my arms were full and right away got me a cart. She asked if I was looking for anything specific and helped me out. She even apologized that the shelves were a bit messy and mentioned they'd be doing a reorganization soon. I'm passionate about crafting and normally love shopping there, but Maria really made it memorable enough that I felt compelled to write this. The Boynton Beach location made a great hire with her.

My mother and I make regular purchases there for art materials, floral items, and craft supplies we need routinely. We've been customers since relocating to the area. The quality is good, but yes, the prices are on the higher side.

My family and I visit this store regularly to stock up on art supplies, flower pieces, and various craft items we use frequently. Ever since we relocated to the area, we've made it our go-to shop. The cost is reasonable, though not exactly budget friendly.

It would be nice if the Mobile location added a fabric section to their store.

Visited on a day in mid-June and the customer service was outstanding. Jamie working the register at the location was incredibly friendly and made the whole shopping experience great. Honestly one of the nicest checkout experiences I've had in years.

Shopped at the Albany location in Georgia in May and had fantastic customer service. The person working the register, Jordan, was professional, attentive, and super helpful. Really impressive service overall.
