Their customer service is really disappointing. I called to talk about a product and an issue I was having, and the representative was incredibly rude and dismissive. The products are expensive too, and honestly they don't even work that well. I'm done with Obagi.

Been an Obagi customer for years and always shopped at my med spa. Their online store has major issues though. You can see your order details but there's no way to track where it actually is. Given how much this brand costs, it should be standard to get updates on when your package will show up.

Free shipping is great. They run decent sales with solid discounts. The hydro ultra luxe product is seriously the best - leaves skin smooth and clean with an awesome feeling. I love that it's odorless too. Ordering is simple, packages arrive fast, and their chat support is easy to work with. I keep coming back because of how reliable they are.

They insisted it was necessary so I tried it for six weeks. It was a disaster. My face and neck became severely irritated and dry, even a turtleneck felt uncomfortable. Wrinkles got deeper and the constant peeling was awful. I stopped and switched to some affordable Korean skincare products instead, and my skin got back to normal in a couple weeks. Obagi is too harsh for someone with normal fair skin. Unless you have a serious skin condition, I wouldn't put yourself through it.

I was told the Obagi Nutraderm treatment would help with my hyperpigmentation issues. Nearly five months and about nine hundred dollars later, I've seen basically no improvement. That's really disappointing considering I followed all the directions carefully. A specialist at a London clinic was overseeing my treatment.

She recommended Obagi which is pricey, but I was able to use a payment plan to make it work. Starting in August I introduced three products: a cleanser tonic for pores, the nu-Derm foaming gel which is great for long-term use with consistency, and then added the daily hydro-drops facial serum in September which I really love using. The professional in Liverpool gave me solid guidance on building the right routine. My only complaint is that the serum is pretty thick and the dropper could work better for dispensing it. I do recommend these products though.

The Obagi Nuderm RX prescription version didn't work for me at all. It's pricey and the routine is intense with five steps twice daily plus an extra tretinoin tube. It's honestly a hassle to keep up with. My aesthetician really pushed it on me, saying it was amazing. I used it for five months and didn't see real improvement. Instead I got red patches, constant peeling and flaking, and soreness that wouldn't go away. Putting on makeup was impossible because it would just flake off immediately. After I quit, my skin took two months to bounce back, though those red patches linger. I wouldn't recommend this if you have fair, delicate skin. There are much nicer products out there that actually feel good to use.

I tried the Obagi nu-Derm system and the first week seemed promising. After that things went downhill fast. My skin developed severe breakouts, raw patches, and weeping areas week after week. They told me to stick with it, then at week 6 they said to stop and blamed it on my medical background. The aesthetician was wonderful and did refund me, which I appreciate, but I'm really upset with how Obagi corporate handled this. They had photos of my progress the whole time but offered absolutely nothing to help fix the damage. My skin is way worse now than when I started and I feel let down that they didn't step up to help at all.
