About Olive Garden

Olive Garden is a part of the Darden Group, a family of restaurants featuring Italian specialties. It was founded in Florida in 1982.

Olive Garden has long embraced the spirit of Italian generosity, making it a welcoming place to gather with family. They believe the happiest moments are those spent sharing a meal with loved ones, and their menu is crafted to offer something special for every age and taste.

Olive Garden has also impressed me with its commitment to giving back.

In 2003, the brand launched the Harvest program, which collects wholesome surplus food from every restaurant and donates it weekly to local nonprofits. With more than 900 locations nationwide, Olive Garden is in a unique position to fight hunger in the communities it serves.

The company also partners with Feeding America® and supports mobile food pantries by providing trucks to reach areas most affected by food insecurity.

Olive Garden demonstrates concern for its customers by publicly providing nutrition and allergy information on its website for customers to review in advance.

New competent customer service oriented…

New competent customer service oriented control must be implemented as Olive Garden is run extremely poor. I filed a complaint with corporate and remain ignored.

Ebony Taylor

My server, Ebony Taylor, at the Olive Garden on Whittlesey Blvd. in Columbus, GA, was incredibly warm, pleasant, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. It has been quite some time since I last visited, and I was pleasantly surprised. The meal prepared by Chef Alex was absolutely delicious—the flavors, seasoning, and presentation were outstanding. Ebony ensured that my friends and I were well taken care of throughout our visit, and the overall ambiance was wonderful.Thank you for such a lovely dining experience!

Olive Garden - Austell, GA. Hate to give a 1 star...

Hate to give a 1 star.... but this location is AWEFUL. Not only is the service bad, but the management is worse. A little background: We had 5 people at our table 11/23/25 @ around 5:30 - 6:30 in the evening. Jay (Jalilah)was our server. Ashley was the manager we later talked on the phone immediately after our visit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.To start out 3 of the 5 meals ordered were incorrect or messed up. My daughter ordered eggplant Parmigiana and received Chicken Parmigiana and was questioned about it like she didn't know what she had ordered.( she is vegan) Another ordered chicken scampi and was brought Shrimp Scampi. Also questioned her the same way. She graciously took the Shrimp Scampi assuming she could have been mistaken (She always orders Chicken Scampi when at Olive Garden) * she was told by Jay that she would bring her the chicken separately and not be charged for it! and my wife's meal was absent altogether. My meal was correct although not good. Tour of Italy and the Chicken Parmigiana was very dry. I didn't get to eat much else because of the proceeding incident about to be explained. A manager came to the table and said the cook had chopped the asparagus up for my wife's meal and was that ok? We had no problem with that and stated so. Still it took another 10 - 12 minutes before her meal actually arrived at the table. This is after everyone else had their meals. During this 10 - 12 minute time the table next to us left and a bus boy came to clean that table. He ended up spraying cleaning chemicals in a spray bottle sending these chemicals into the air in the direction of my wife who happens to be an asthmatic... sending her into an asthma attack. She tried moving to the other side of our table to get away from the airborne chemicals but continued to be in distress. Her food arrived during this time with a dried out piece of Salmon without any seasoning sauce on it, but in a plastic cup next to it. By then, she could not even attempt to eat so we asked for to go containers. My wife was accompanied by my daughter to our car to administer a breathing treatment. We proceeded to get the on table kiosk to pay the bill and after doing so, another bill pops up for the added chicken. Embarrassed to leave without this being resolved and a red flashing light on the kiosk showing an unpaid bill. No server returned within 5 minutes so it was paid begrudgingly separate. We just left.On the way home we called the restaurant and asked for a manager. Ashley was the one we ended up talking with about our miserable experience. She apologized for them spraying airborne chemicals at my wife and stated they were not supposed to be spraying in the dining room at all. She then said unsolicited that she would take care of our ticket and reverse the second charge as well. CRICKETS..... Nothing happened. We proceeded to email the corporate office a few days later, explaining our experience. Katie guest relations responded and she said she would follow up and talk to the restaurant management and get back with us. She later said the local manager would call us and take care of the matter. CRICKETS AGAIN. We have yet to hear back from this place!!!!!! We were frequent customers of Olive Garden and I reiterate WERE!!!!!! HORRIBLE RESTAURANT.

The food has changed

The food has changed. There is too much garlic salt on the breadsticks, the salad didn’t look fresh (colors), my eggplant Parmesan was over cooked and the food just wasn’t like it once was. We had a very nice young man as our server though. I just don’t think we will be coming back anytime soon.

Olive Garden's Generosity to Cancer Patients

I’d like to share with others that Olive Garden generously provides FREE SOUP to the residents of Hope Lodge, Jacksonville, FL. Hope Lodge provides free lodging and support to people with cancer and their caregivers far from home for treatment. It means a lot to us have the warm delicious soups right in the Lodge. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY.

Disappointed

Ordered 2 meals to go in lobby. Several people came in with kids in which kids acted like they were at a playground instead of a restaurant. No discipline at all...What in the world has happened.....ridiculous

My best friend takes me on my birthday

My best friend takes me to eat in November on my birthday every year. We hadn't been to the Olive Garden in two years so the last time I was there it was cheerful, clean , and festive. Not this year. The restaurant looked abandoned from lack of care, and dingy, also dirty. The host took us to a table that had been very evidently wiped down with a dirty cloth. The streaks were proof. We ordered the soup and salad. She usually orders the potato soup w/ kale. I am newly diagnosed diabetic so I choose the one with the veggies in the tomato base with pasta shells. The waiter brought the plain teas, no ice. The salad was ,3/4 lettuce, with three tomatoes slices, two peppers, 12 croutons and a smattering if purple onion pieces. The parmesan cheese saved it.When our soup arrived it wasn't hot, mine was about a cup and a half and the tomatoes soup base was about one cups worth. It tasted terrible. My friend was unable to eat her soup because the kale wasn't in diced pieces but big chunks and there wasn't any potatoes but five pieces.I could not eat the bread sticks because of my sugar issue. My best friend paid$ 35.00 plus gratuity for the worst experience we ever had in this restaurant. After years of coming here I will make sure never to return. It use to be charming, fun, and clean with excellent food and flavors. Public equity must have bought it. They can have it.

A cut above some of our recent dining experiences.

My wife and went to the location at 5740 Youngstown Warren Rd, Niles, OH 44446 about three PM, Nov. 23 Our waitress, Mary, was very pleasant and took every means to make our experience exceptional. The food was tasty, hot & There was plenty. The background music was muted, not blaring to the point of pain & came from an age long gone by.We left feeling relaxed.

8136 W Irlo Bronson Highway

Have eaten at the 8136 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34747 for years but tonight 18th was diabolical - if it had been my first visit I would never go back . Arrivied 5.30pm - 4 adults and 2 infants . Requested 2 high chairs. The place was perhaps 20% capacity but the guy insisted in putting us in a corner in the BAR under freezing fans - and only one high chair- he said they only had one avaiallbe which was tubbish- he did this because the table they gave us in the bar had no room for 2 high chairs yet the main resturarant had many free large tables . spaghetti with meat sauce was one of the mains which was cold so sent back and changed - sauce came back hot , pasta still luke warm -, but had to eat as rest of family wanted to get going . NO water brought with drinks for 1 of the infants - when we asked for the check it took an age - was this a training day for new staff?
