Paris City Vision Reviews
Paris City Vision receives sharply divided reviews that reflect inconsistent service quality. Positive reviewers praise individual guides, particularly Nina and Jose, for creating memorable experiences and maintaining enthusiasm throughout tours and show packages. These satisfied customers highlight specific attractions like Mont Saint Michel and entertainment venues as worthwhile despite premium pricing.
Negative reviewers report serious concerns about misleading information, unresponsive customer service after booking, and significantly inflated ticket prices for shows like Moulin Rouge (reportedly up to ten times standard rates). Complaints also include unfulfilled promises about transportation arrangements and unprofessional conduct from staff. The stark division between five-star and one-star ratings suggests that experiences depend heavily on individual guide assignment and whether promised services are actually delivered.
Jose made it an incredible day out. One hundred percent worth it. Mont Saint Michel was absolutely breathtaking!
Had a really bad experience. They gave me wrong information, refused to answer my calls after I booked, and acted unprofessional throughout.
We purchased a couple of packages from them and got mixed results overall. The prices were way too high, especially for last-minute bookings. Some of the shows cost nearly ten times what you'd normally pay. We got Moulin Rouge tickets that supposedly came with hotel pickup or at least dropoff nearby, but on the night of the show they said that wasn't doable. At eleven at night, we had to figure out our own way there. The Seine cruise was included but felt cheap and packed with people shoulder to shoulder. Not the romantic Paris experience we were hoping for. Then the tower had a labor strike on our day, and the company never gave us advance notice. We wasted time getting to the meeting point just to find out we needed to rearrange everything. Also, you don't really need a guide since they only take you to the second floor anyway. You can get the same information from the QR code on the ground floor. Overall, the prices just felt like you're getting robbed.
The guides and customer support were very misleading and dishonest. Stay away from this company at all costs.
Our guide Nina was fantastic - she had such a positive attitude, kept everything running smoothly, and really understood what we needed. It made for a wonderful day!
Had a blast with Nina! She kept everyone laughing and the whole show was spectacular. Definitely telling my friends to book this one!
Hugo is outstanding. If you're planning to see the tower, definitely book Hugo's tour. We had such a great experience.
We were out in the cold at the palace waiting for a pickup bus that simply never showed up. Nothing was sent to replace it. Really let down by the service here.
We stood outside in freezing weather at the Versailles palace waiting for a bus that never arrived. No alternative transportation was provided. This was disappointing service.
This was honestly the worst tour bus I've ever taken. The seats are terribly uncomfortable. You have to use your own phone and set up an audio guide yourself, which is a nightmare if your battery is low. The audio guide isn't even organized properly. The bus operator tells you which track number to listen to, but each description is only a minute long with almost no real details. I didn't learn much and most of the time there wasn't any information at all. It was pretty boring overall. I'd much rather take a hop on hop off bus or get an audio guide with proper earbuds. Would not recommend this at all.
Don't trust this company. We bought tickets for the museum and got a confirmation email instead of actual tickets. When we showed up at the museum, they rejected our receipt and said we needed actual tickets from the company. We ended up purchasing tickets at the museum for half of what this company charged us. Total ripoff and should be avoided.
The whole experience was frustrating from start to finish. Our bus showed up twenty minutes late. When we arrived at the site, we were herded over to a long line even though a short one existed nearby - supposedly to get information we'd already heard on the bus. That cost us an extra quarter hour in line. We were instructed to return by 11:45 for an 11:55 departure, and told anyone staying longer could take the train. When we got back exactly on time, the bus was already there packed with new passengers, but they wouldn't let us board the empty vehicle. We had to stand further back. At 11:55, we learned the bus needed to circle the palace because some people might still be coming, despite all the earlier warnings about being punctual. We didn't even get a proper headcount to confirm who had returned. The bus finally picked us up at 12:15 and we left twenty minutes behind schedule.
Started off great with the Eiffel Tower visit at midday, and we stayed until one o'clock, though it was pretty cold out. The four thirty bus tour was fine since we grabbed a long lunch in between. Everything fell apart at the bus part. There were no actual headsets, just a barcode system, and my phone battery was too low to listen to anything. Then we were supposed to take a boat tour. The guide said to walk to the end, turn right, and find the boat. No instructions, no tickets, and pouring rain made it even worse. My kid was with me and we had no idea where we were going. We jumped from one boat to another before finding ours, but I only had the barcode, not an actual ticket. When I tried to reach out on messaging for over an hour without getting help, I gave up. My daughter was crying and the company clearly didn't care. We decided to go home instead. Later they offered tickets for the next day, but by then my daughter refused to come back and just wanted to leave. We ended up booking earlier flights home at an extra cost of one hundred sixty pounds. This was supposed to be her birthday surprise, and I don't think she'll ever want to return to Paris.
