Made consecutive Thursday reservations for a sprinter van with a representative at the Michigan location. The day before, they called to say they no longer had sprinters available and wanted me to take a 16 foot truck instead. I had specifically requested a sprinter for my work needs. They waited until the last minute to tell me this was impossible, putting my business in a terrible spot. They expect you to just accept whatever they offer, regardless of what you actually need. Not a reliable company.

Booked a moving truck online several days ahead, specifically choosing them because their website promised guaranteed availability. Less than a day before my move, the local branch called saying no truck was available. Meanwhile, they kept sending confirmation emails about my reservation. The date couldn't be changed, so I had to scramble that afternoon and pay way more at another company. The branch kept pushing me to reschedule for three days later with a small discount instead of honoring my original booking. Then I get an email saying I cancelled, which is not true. Their guaranteed availability promise is misleading advertising and needs to stop.

Major issue with the fuel tank. My son, a police officer helping with a move, couldn't fill the tank because it kept stopping him after just 15 bucks worth, with fluid backing up to the top. We only drove 42 miles but got charged 65 dollars and change for over 8 gallons at premium rates. When I contacted corporate, they refused to look into it and blamed the terms and conditions. This seems like a deliberate setup to prevent customers from fully fueling up. Avoid this company.

Will never rent from them again. Returned my truck in July to a Florida location following their instructions to pull forward and leave the keys inside. The staff member said everything was fine. A week later they called saying the truck needed to be returned. I called that same location back and they confirmed I'd returned it on time. Then I got hit with a 555 dollar charge, supposedly for a late return. When I questioned this, suddenly it was about a missing key, which they never mentioned before. They charged me for gas on a truck they claimed to not have. Highly suspicious practices and dishonest billing.

First time renting with them and couldn't have asked for better service. Blake took me step by step through everything and made the whole process effortless. His attention to detail and genuine care for customer satisfaction really stood out. The pricing was competitive and actually cheaper than several other companies I looked at. With decades of management experience, I would've hired this guy in a heartbeat to help run a large team.

We arranged a box truck pickup from a home improvement store in the Orlando area to help move our son. On the drive there, they called saying the truck was already rented, then called back saying it was available, then called a third time saying it got taken for an emergency. What kind of emergency needs a box truck? We were left without a truck when we really needed one and had to scramble to find another company. Their service is unreliable and they don't care about the problems they create for customers. Won't be using them again.

Rented a truck that maxed out around 50 mph, which was unacceptable. After calling multiple times to report the issue, management insisted this was normal performance. Watched other rental trucks zoom past us for over 22 hours. Customer service was terrible too, especially dealing with one representative in California who wouldn't return calls and was extremely rude when she finally did pick up. Switched to a competitor and had a much better experience. Would not recommend.

Will go out of my way to avoid using them, especially when booking through home improvement stores. The entire operation from drivers to dispatch seems unmotivated and slow. Stay away.

Management verbally promised to handle it but then switched tactics and tried to limit their liability. They also made unauthorized charges to my card related to fuel, which violated our agreement. After the truck broke down and was towed, I discovered personal items missing from inside it. There was also an attempt to use a payment method that wasn't connected to my reservation, which is highly inappropriate.

Don't use this company under any circumstances. They make promises they don't keep. A young woman was promised an interview opportunity to launch her career in her field of study, but they never followed through with even a simple email. She blocked off her time waiting for communication that never came, affecting her other obligations. No professional business should operate this way.

Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with booking, but he also secured some great discounts for me. Adrian's willingness to help and his professional approach deserve recognition at all levels of the company.

I was going through a really tough move and feeling pretty stressed out, but Adrian's genuine kindness and understanding completely turned my day around. More employees like Adrian would make this company even better.

My rental of a 26 foot truck went perfectly. The equipment was in top shape and handled beautifully on the road. The rates were reasonable and everyone I dealt with showed real commitment to helping me out. Penske made what could've been a stressful day much better.
