Just received the Acuvue Oasys Max multifocal for astigmatism and what a disappointment. The blue tint is really noticeable around my eye and looks bad. Plus, they're incredibly thick and unbearable to wear. The blue ring effect makes it feel like I'm looking through binoculars. I called my doctor immediately and got a firm no. Why don't they make a version that works for people with brown eyes? The coloring makes it look totally strange. I'm 53 and have been in contacts since I was 14. These are absolutely the most uncomfortable lenses I've ever experienced.

These have been perfect for me. I made the rookie mistake of putting them in backwards at first, but the 123 markers on the lens make that easy to fix. While they are thin, they work incredibly well with my eyes. They stay hydrated all day long, and I never need drops, even in very dry environments. Everyone's eyes are different, but for me, these are the best lenses I've found. Can't speak to differences between countries, but I'm really happy with mine.

Hands down the worst contact lenses available. Don't fall for the Johnson & Johnson name. These lenses are super uncomfortable and keep shifting around in your eye. The quality is poor and a total waste of time. They're not even safe and shouldn't be sold.
Taking these off is such a pain. My eyes turn red every time I remove them, and I'm worried it's creating wrinkles around my eyes. I wouldn't recommend these contact lenses to anyone.
Worst lenses I've ever tried on my eyes. My eye doctor recently switched me to Acuvue Oasys lenses after saying they'd be better for my dry eyes. Before that, I wore monthly Biofinity lenses for about a decade without any problems, and before those, daily lenses worked fine too. I only went for the appointment because my glasses prescription changed. These new Acuvue lenses are incredibly uncomfortable from the moment I insert them. It feels like I have grit in my eyes, and even after an hour it doesn't really get better. I can barely tolerate wearing them for a few hours. They're also really difficult to handle when I take them out because they're so delicate and keep folding over on themselves. I'm certain these lenses are the problem since my eyes were totally fine before and feel great once I remove them. Really frustrated that I paid £70 for a 3-month supply that I basically can't use anymore.
Super cheap and low quality lenses. They won't stay in place and are really hard to put in because they keep folding up. I'm throwing out the whole batch of 30 lenses.
I ordered a year supply of Acuvue 1-Day Oasys Max and was promised a $200 rebate when I bought through my eye doctor, which made it a better deal than ordering from online retailers. The contacts themselves are mostly okay. I'm working through the first box and only had one defective lens that was clearly messed up. But seriously, don't count on getting that rebate. They rejected my first attempt outright. After I fixed it, I got an email on July 11th saying it was approved and I'd receive another email within two weeks to claim it. That email never came. Now it's August 22nd. I've sent another email to their customer service, but I'm not expecting much at this point.
