What Shoppers Say About Baskin Robbins
Baskin Robbins receives predominantly negative feedback, with 15 shoppers rating the chain 1.5 out of 5. The most serious concerns center on food safety and hygiene practices, including reports of potential contamination in frozen treats, unsanitary food handling by staff, and cases of suspected foodborne illness. Additional complaints highlight poor customer service, including inattentive staff, employees neglecting customers while on personal calls, and dismissive attitudes at certain locations. Some reviewers also note potentially deceptive business practices such as hiding smaller size options from customers.
The small number of positive reviews praise the quality of the ice cream itself and friendly, helpful staff when service standards are met. One shopper highlighted appealing in-store flavor displays and quality churros. However, these isolated positive experiences are significantly outweighed by the frequency and severity of hygiene, health, and service-related complaints that dominate the feedback.

Sorted by: Most recentI ordered a milkshake and when the girl handed it to me, it was basically just milk. I asked if she could make it thicker and she made another one, but it was still basically milk. She was a young teenager, so I'm guessing she was just doing what she was taught. I hadn't ordered their milkshakes before, but it seems like maybe they need to be putting more ice cream in them or they need to figure out a better method for making them.
This brand is just terrible. The ice cream flavors are completely bland and way too low quality for what they're charging. I've had many disappointing visits. The vanilla is probably the worst offender, it's so incredibly dull and tasteless when it should be rich and creamy instead. These experiences were all from locations in India and honestly the whole thing is a letdown for the price.
Watch out if you order fresh pack quarts because you're getting shortchanged on the amount. I ordered 2 quarts that should have weighed around 54 ounces total but only received 30 ounces. When I reached out to the local manager about this issue, they never called me back. I've also tried contacting the corporate customer service team multiple times, but all I get are empty promises that the manager will reach out within 24 to 48 hours. That was three weeks ago and still nothing. This whole situation has been frustrating and unhelpful.
Worst drive-thru experience imaginable. The Longmont spot has been going downhill for the past year. There are only young staff members working, and they never follow basic instructions like putting lids on cups before handing you a bunch of them. But here's the real problem: you ask for a flavor that's on the menu and they don't have it, so you pick another one and nope, they don't have that either. Meanwhile they've got flavors available that aren't even listed. And when the menu board is supposed to be lit up after sunset, it's just dark. Last week I asked a teenager to turn it on so I could see what they actually had. He said he couldn't and then just ignored me until I rolled up to the window. I asked again if there was any way to see a list of flavors. His response? A shrug and 'nope, sorry.' No accountability, no solutions, nothing. That's when I told him they just lost a loyal customer, didn't buy anything, and when I asked for a complaint form he refused. I'm not spending my money at places charging premium prices while their young staff acts disrespectful and clueless.
I'd give this zero stars if the system allowed it. I ordered a custom ice cream cake for my son's birthday through the website and it was supposed to be ready for pickup three days later at the Lake Worth location. I got a confirmation email and my card was charged almost fifty dollars. When I showed up on the pickup day, they hadn't even started making it. Not a single apology or discount offered, they just told me to pick something out from the display case instead. The selection was tiny. I ended up leaving with a cake I didn't want in a color I hated, and I wasted 45 minutes driving there and back. I'm seriously upset about this and I've already disputed the charge with my credit card company. Be very careful if you're planning to order anything from their website.
