What Shoppers Say About Capezio
Capezio receives sharply divided feedback. Shoppers who praise the store highlight quality products, particularly mentioning excellent fit, durable construction, and soft materials in items like dance pants and slippers. However, the majority of reviewers report serious frustrations with customer service and operational processes. Common complaints include unresponsive email support, phones that direct callers to email without follow-up, inability to apply sales retroactively, return processes that take excessive time with unclear instructions, and return label issues for international customers. Several shoppers describe repeated attempts to contact the company without receiving responses.
The store's return and refund policies appear to be a significant pain point, with customers reporting 30-day refund timelines, delays in receiving return instructions, and issues with the online return request system not accepting order numbers. These service gaps stand in sharp contrast to customer expectations from modern retailers and appear to undermine otherwise positive experiences with the actual products themselves.

Sorted by: Most recentCapezio seems completely out of touch with how modern online shopping works. I bought a pair of full price ballet slippers and literally the next day they ran a sitewide sale for 22% off. When I asked if they could apply it retroactively, they said no. Most decent websites do this without question.
Their customer service basically doesn't exist. The site automatically used my billing address as the shipping address and I immediately called and sent emails to alert them. Here's what happened: the voicemail says to email them, they apparently don't check their emails, and when you do reach management they just make excuses instead of actually fixing anything. I even got the same runaround at the executive level. It's like ordering from a vending machine with zero human oversight.
Their product knowledge and return policies could definitely use improvement. I consulted with a rep before ordering some shoes, but the sizing ended up being way off. They offered free return shipping which seemed helpful, but when I got to Ireland the return label wouldn't work. Now I have to pay out of pocket to ship them back, which costs nearly as much as the shoes themselves. The whole situation was frustrating because the representative clearly didn't know what they were talking about.
Their return process is a nightmare. You have to wait for an email telling you where to send items back, and that can take forever. I kept having to bug them for a response. Then they say refunds take 30 days from when they get the package, which doesn't match up with what UK law actually requires. It's been over a week since my tap shoes arrived there with tracking confirmation and still no receipt acknowledgment. I had to email them again just to get them to confirm they got it. This whole thing feels sketchy and I definitely won't be ordering from them again.
We purchased two bras from them. One fit great but the other was too small. We tried submitting a return request but the system wouldn't accept our order number. We kept trying multiple times without any luck. Then we sent several emails and never got a single response. The level of service is just unreliable.
Got these lightweight rip stop pants for my teenage daughter and she absolutely loves them. The fit is spot on with a nice wide cut and high waistband that adjusts down if you want it at hip level. The material feels amazing, has a subtle sheen, and is incredibly soft against the skin. The stitching is solid and the seams hold up great even with the thin fabric. She wears them constantly for dance class, running, everyday outfits, and even packs them for trips since they barely take up any space. Would love to see them make a matching lightweight hoodie in some new colors like sky blue or purple. Service was fantastic with quick responses and fast shipping throughout.
I was hunting everywhere for a specific pair of Tap Shoes, the Capezio Roxy iridescent style, and couldn't find them in the UK anywhere. As a last attempt I reached out to their European team and got connected with a manager who really went the extra mile for me. She dug around and somehow managed to locate exactly what I needed in my size. It was totally unexpected that she could pull it off! The customer service and communication were incredible. I'm so grateful for her help and Capezio's support.
Avoid wasting your money here. There's no way to try items on before buying, and if something doesn't fit, forget about getting your money back. You're stuck with clothes you'll never wear. It would make sense to at least provide a decent sizing chart if returns aren't allowed? They tried to sweeten the deal with 20% off a future order, but why would I come back? The whole reason I'm unhappy is that I can't get the right size for an item that won't be refunded anyway.
Totally disappointed with this experience. I received a poor quality item and the shipping was a mess. On top of that, their customer service was absolutely awful. It's clear that Capezio's team needs real training on how to treat customers properly. Just really, really let down by the whole thing.
I picked up these Capezio shoes in early February and was thrilled with them at first. They were super comfortable and made a real difference during my dance classes. Then after wearing them for just about a month, and only using them once or twice weekly, one shoe cracked right near the arch! How does that even happen when I only wore them in class? A lot of reviews claimed these would last for years so this is really disappointing.
