Cobra Golf Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Cobra Golf
Cobra Golf receives sharply divided reviews, with shoppers either experiencing significant product quality issues or praising exceptional customer service. The dominant complaint centers on durability problems: paint and finish peeling or wearing away prematurely, structural failures in drivers (cracking or weight port breakage), and clubs deteriorating faster than expected for a premium brand. Multiple reviewers report that warranty claims are either denied outright or met with unresponsive customer service, leaving customers frustrated when seeking recourse for defective products.
The smaller segment of satisfied customers highlights Cobra's customer service when it functions well, noting that direct contact with Cobra (rather than working through retailers) can result in expedited replacements and upgrades. These positive experiences suggest the company is willing to stand behind products when claims reach the right department, though accessibility and consistency of this service appears inconsistent. Overall, shoppers express disappointment that a premium golf equipment brand delivers questionable build quality and reliability.

Sorted by: Most recentI picked up a set of Cobra King Oversized irons a couple years back. A backing came loose on two of the clubs and had to be replaced. The first time this happened they were only 3 months old, so it was covered under warranty and they took care of it. Now the same thing happened again on another club, but this time the company won't sell me the backing and won't fix it either. This kind of manufacturing issue combined with poor customer service is unacceptable. I'd recommend looking at other brands before buying from Cobra.
I won't be buying from Cobra again. The quality and materials are really disappointing. Never again.
I bought a set of Radspeed irons back in November and the second time I took them out, about a month later, my pitching wedge snapped clean in half. Now I'm stuck waiting until sometime in January for a replacement because they say they can't replace anything until they finish their inventory count. It's frustrating to be without a club for that long when the equipment failed so quickly. Once I get the replacement back, I'm probably going to trade the whole set in for Titleist.
I accidentally split the head of my Cobra driver at the range one day. Since it was past the warranty period, I wasn't expecting anything, but Cobra stepped up and replaced the head completely for free with just a couple quick questions. I'm really grateful because a new driver would have cost me over $350. That's the kind of support that makes you want to stick with a brand.
