I'm extremely upset with how the Container Store handled my situation. I made one purchase on February 21st and another on February 13th. The February 13th order was supposed to arrive in about 10 days. On February 25th I got a notice saying that the first order might take 2 to 4 weeks to process because of the Texas weather situation. I live in a different state where we get natural disasters too, so I understand these things happen. I called to ask if I could just cancel and pick up the items at a store about 2 hours away instead, since waiting a month wasn't going to work. The person told me it was already being processed and couldn't be stopped. The only solutions were to get it shipped and then pay to send it back myself, or make the 2-hour trip to the store for a return. I'm older, those items weigh a lot, I can't load them into my car by myself, and I'm not willing to drive that far to return them. Neither option works for me and I find this behavior selfish and greedy. I've been a customer for years and spent thousands of dollars, but this lack of flexibility has me rethinking where I shop entirely.

Skip buying anything from this place online if you value your time. Expect to wait multiple months just to get your stuff. Three plus months to receive a plastic storage box is absolutely crazy. Come on, Container Store. How is it that Amazon, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and essentially every other retailer can ship things quickly and efficiently but you can't? I seriously doubt you'll last much longer in business running like this.

Frustrating customer service. When I found out my order was going to be delayed, I tried to cancel it right away but they refused. They also wouldn't allow me to return it without bringing it into a physical store location. The merchandise itself is nice and shopping in the store goes pretty well, but the online platform and how they handle customer support for web orders is absolutely terrible. I'd pick Wayfair for organization stuff any day.

Had a few orders arrive from this company that seemed good until one showed up with a crack in it. I contacted them several times about it and got nothing back. So their return policy is basically useless if they don't actually respond to customers. Won't be ordering from them again unless things change. Pretty sketchy behavior.
