One collar showed up with the wrong phone number engraved, which was their mistake. I emailed them and got a cold response with no apology, just a 'we'll send a replacement.' A month went by and nothing, so I had to email again to find out where it was. They said it had just shipped. When it finally showed up six to eight weeks later, the number was right but the color was completely wrong. I sent clear pictures of the problem and they never even responded. On top of everything, the numbers on my collars are really hard to read because of how the stitching and layout covers them. The light blue collar with dark lettering is especially bad, and when you put it on the dog the number gets blocked anyway, which defeats the whole purpose of having ID. They claim they guarantee one hundred percent satisfaction, but I haven't seen that at all. You can't even call them on the phone so you're stuck waiting for slow emails.
I got this dogIDs collar for my husky seventeen years ago and it's been absolutely incredible. The build quality is seriously impressive and it kept up with her through her whole long life. In all those years we had just one problem when a stainless steel rivet failed. dogIDs honored their lifetime warranty without any hassle and replaced it right away, which showed real commitment to standing behind what they make. The personalized nameplate actually brought my girl back home three separate times throughout the years. Having her name and phone number on that plate made it super easy for good people to reach us and get her back safe. Lost thirty-five dollars and got absolutely nothing in return. The company claims they never got my return, but my tracking shows it arrived a month ago. My money is just gone. Hope sharing what happened to me helps you avoid the same situation.
Look for a different company instead. I bought an embroidered collar and it looked nothing like the picture I was shown. Their customer service was completely unhelpful, just kept saying 'that's our turquoise' over and over and refused to do anything to fix it. Now I'm out thirty-five bucks and have nothing to show for it. This is not a business I'd ever recommend to anyone.

Warning to all shoppers: I'd give this zero stars if possible. Got a tag in decent material but the phone number was printed all crooked and misaligned. When I complained, the company said it was my fault for picking that particular font and I should have noticed in their tiny preview image. Look, I did choose the font and I looked at their sample, but I didn't catch that the numbers were off. The real issue is dogIDs needs to show you exactly how your tag will actually look before you order, not some small sample. I never would have used that font if I'd seen the real thing. They offered to remake it at half price, but I'd already paid nearly as much for rush shipping as the tag itself. I asked for a partial refund instead since a remake would cost them less than redoing the tag from scratch and would actually make me a satisfied customer. I was willing to compromise with something like fifty percent back or even just twenty-five percent.
Don't waste your money with this company. I ordered a two-sided dog tag with different contact numbers on each side, but the engraving quality was terrible. Both sides had a number that looked like an 8 instead of a 6, making the tag completely useless. I sent the company photos showing the defect on both sides and was shocked by their response. They told me there are no refunds for engraved tags and blamed me for choosing the font. Their only offer was a 50% discount to redo it. This company clearly doesn't care about delivering quality or keeping customers happy.
The nylon collar with the scruff design came with a plastic clasp that just doesn't work right. The ID tag looks beautiful but it weighs more than the plastic clasp, so the clasp ends up sitting on top of the neck while the ID hangs down underneath. I had a leather version before that used a metal clasp and it stayed where it was supposed to. This one is a real letdown.
This company has really dropped the ball on customer service. I've been ordering from them for a long time and honestly never had issues before. Items always arrived in perfect shape and were exactly right. Recently I ordered new collars for my dogs and one showed up wrong. I reached out and they asked for a picture and order info. I sent a screenshot straight from their site showing what I ordered, light blue collar with dark blue tag and white lettering. They came back saying their system showed light blue collar with silver tag and white lettering. Besides being incorrect, that color combo made the tag almost impossible to read in sunlight. I'm a loyal customer and their system messed up, but they flat out refuse to send the right one. I spent years in retail and that's not how you take care of people. When there's any confusion you side with the customer. If you're reading this take note: don't throw your money away here. They make good products but if something goes wrong with your order you're going to lose out. Good luck getting them to actually help.
