What Shoppers Say About Earthing
Earthing is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 17 shoppers, with reviews sharply divided between detractors and advocates. Shoppers who gave low ratings consistently report that earthing products (mats, shoes, and other items) failed to deliver promised health benefits even after months of use, with several reviewers noting improved pain or worse sleep rather than relief. Return policies frustrate customers, particularly the no-returns-after-opening restriction that prevents testing effectiveness before commitment. Shipping issues also emerge as a complaint, with some customers reporting hidden charges or confusing tracking information. International shipping is noted as particularly expensive with surprise additional invoices.
Positive reviews are sparse but present, with some customers reporting satisfaction with product arrival and customer service responsiveness, though even these reviews often contain caveats about delivery confusion. The recurring pattern across negative reviews suggests skepticism about the scientific basis of the products and frustration with the inability to test claims risk-free. Customer support responses to complaints reportedly lack helpfulness or fail to follow through on promised actions like exchanges.

Sorted by: Most recentAnother bait and switch scam operation. I bought multiple products and used them for months without seeing any real benefit. My arthritis is exactly the same or actually worse. Wasted my money on false promises. Plus they advertise free stuff but when you look closer in tiny letters it says you need to buy ninety nine dollars worth of other stuff first. That's not free. Thought this might be legit but I'm let down.
Bought some shoes and an earthing mat and ran into problems. The shoes run small so I had to get a bigger size. When the replacement arrived I tried them on and they were still too tight. Asked for another exchange and shipped back the pair I had. They told me with shipping proof they'd send the new size right out. That didn't happen. After I sent them back I was told they went into inspection, which doesn't make sense for brand new shoes. It's been over a week since they got the shoes back and I still don't have them. It's been thirty four days since I ordered and I'm still waiting. Really unhappy with how this went considering I spent close to two hundred dollars. Would never handle a customer like this if I ran a business.
Skip this purchase. I've had the mat for about three months now and it hasn't made any real difference for me. My pain went up and my sleep got worse. This whole thing feels like a scam if you ask me. The biggest problem is they won't take it back once you open it, but how else would you know if it actually works? If anyone's interested I have mine sitting around and would let it go for cheaper.
Used these mats for several months now, bought multiple ones and use them for hours with direct skin contact. Haven't seen any difference in my inflammation at all. Tried wearing one while sleeping too, same result. When I called support they weren't very helpful and just suggested I wasn't using them enough.
Living outside the US makes shopping here pricey. Shipping costs are actually two parts. First you get the quoted shipping and handling amount, then after you receive the item there's another invoice for additional charges. You basically have to pay it since it's required. The support team, especially Lisa and Nivea, was helpful though. As for the actual products, I'm testing the mat and can confirm it works. I'm comparing it against another brand I've used without any issues. Their wall adapters look well made and the mat is pretty thin with blue on the ground side and black on top. Haven't used the sheets yet since I already have another brand that feels nice and cottony.
I had to update my earlier review because my order actually arrived perfectly with everything included. There was some confusion about shipping since the tracking showed FedEx with a tracking number, but when I checked it said canceled by the sender with no communication from customer service. Turned out USPS delivered it to me today instead. Not entirely sure what went wrong there, but my items showed up and I'm satisfied. There's tons of research supporting earthing, and I really think this is what I need for managing my arthritis and age-related discomfort. Thanks Earthing.com!
Can't speak to how well the mattress cover kit will work yet, but Nivea from their support team was absolutely wonderful. I thought I bought a bundle deal but realized I only got the cover. She immediately sent out the rest of my items without any hassle. Excited to test everything out. Big thanks to Nivea and Earthing!
This whole grounding thing has seriously changed my life. I'm not specifically endorsing any product or brand, just the practice of grounding itself and how much it's helped me personally. Since 2020 I've been unable to work due to osteoarthritis that affects almost every joint in my body. I had scans and imaging done including MRIs, CT scans, bone scans and X-rays all confirming pretty severe osteoarthritis everywhere. One hip was already replaced and I was facing surgeries on the other hip and both knees. I was taking the maximum allowed anti-inflammatory medications and painkillers just to function, and while they helped some, I was still dealing with constant pain. Once I started grounding I noticed some improvement, though I wondered if it was just placebo. A few months in I started feeling worse again, so I checked my mat and found the cable wasn't working properly. After getting a new cable the improvement came back stronger than before and has been getting better each week. I've actually stopped all my medications, can walk normally again, and even tried running which I hadn't done in years.
The universal sleep mat actually works great for me. Helps with soreness from working out, hiking, or just general muscle pain and stiffness from getting older. The regular sleep mat I bought didn't do anything for me though. They will give you your money back but you have to cover return shipping costs. If you use the postal service there's automatic insurance added on up to one hundred dollars with tracking included. They got my package but nearly two weeks passed without an email confirmation of receiving it. This company doesn't operate the way a legitimate business should. Give them a one for customer service.
Be careful with returns if your home's electrical system isn't grounded properly. I got a delivery and it didn't work because my electrics aren't grounded, which you only find out after testing the actual product. Their only options are paying to return it, hiring an electrician to fix your house (crazy expensive), or buying a grounding rod from them (extra cost and not practical for a normal bedroom on the first floor). Shipping it back cost me sixty seven pounds. Company was no help whatsoever. Yeah sure the fine print says it's your problem, but I ended up losing eighty pounds overall and wouldn't recommend dealing with them. At least skip sending the books back if you make the same mistake, that'll save on postage.
