What Shoppers Say About Electric
Electric has earned a 1.4 out of 5 rating from 16 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. The primary complaint across reviews centers on unresponsive customer service and unresolved refund issues. Shoppers report being unable to reach the company by phone, email, or voicemail, and many describe waiting weeks or months without receiving refunds on returned items. Several long-time customers note that product quality has declined and that the company's advertised return policy is not consistently honored, particularly on sale items. A small minority of reviewers acknowledge that the products themselves are satisfactory, but this is vastly outweighed by frustration with the company's inability or unwillingness to process returns and communicate with customers.
The pattern of complaints suggests systemic operational problems rather than isolated incidents. Reviewers describe repeated failed attempts to contact customer service and refund delays that have stretched from weeks to months, with some customers characterizing the situation as a potential scam. The lack of any positive reviews praising customer service or the return process indicates that these issues are not exceptional but rather reflect how the company typically operates. Even previously loyal customers report permanently ending their business relationship with Electric due to these experiences.

Sorted by: Most recentMajor red flag with this company. They said they owed me a refund when I returned my purchase, but six months later I still haven't seen the money. This feels like a scam. I won't be ordering from Electric ever again.
I've been buying from Electric since the early 2000s, but that loyalty is done. Picked up a pair of polarized sunglasses for about fifty bucks that just don't fit right even though the dimensions match my other pairs. When I tried returning them I hit a wall because they were on sale. The policy on their site says returns are accepted for unworn items in original packaging as long as you keep your receipt and tracking, with a credit issued within seven days, but it doesn't mention anything about sale items being excluded. I asked about a return or refund and got back a standard message saying sale purchases are final and can't be returned. Pretty disappointing after being a loyal customer for so long.
Their quality has really gone downhill lately, and so has their customer service. I've been into Electric for years with multiple sunglasses and snow goggles in my collection. Just bought a new pair of shades and was let down by the frame quality. I figured their generous return policy would cover me, so I started a return request. It's been over a month and customer service keeps saying my return is stuck in their finance department. At this point I've just given up on my hundred dollar plus investment. I'm pretty frustrated with Electric and can't recommend them unless you're able to see the product in person first.
Their customer service is terrible. They won't answer the phone, won't return voicemails, won't respond to emails. It's been over two weeks since they received my return and I still haven't gotten my refund.
Customer service at this company is nonexistent. I've sent numerous emails and called multiple times, even left voice messages, and heard nothing back. It's incredibly frustrating because this is the second time I've had this problem with them. I returned my glasses and I'm waiting on the refund. That's the last purchase I'm making from Electric. You've lost a customer who was ready to stick with you.
Would give this zero stars if I could. The actual sunglasses are nice, but forget about getting any help from their customer service team. It's absolutely terrible. I've been trying to sort out a refund for months with no luck. Don't waste your money here or you'll regret it.
Getting a refund from this place is a nightmare. They don't have many retail partners, so if you order straight from their site expect to jump through hoops. I had to send like three to five emails, make two phone calls while they claimed they were switching their systems, and it took almost three weeks to finally get my refund. Still waiting on the full amount and I'm not happy about how little they seem to care. The products themselves are decent and reasonably priced, but the company's inability to process refunds within their stated timeframe is ridiculous. Better off finding an authorized retailer.
I dropped two hundred fifty dollars on these sunglasses, the most I've ever spent on eyewear. After wearing them once, the material warped in the heat and the fit got completely messed up on my face. I had an optometrist adjust them twice and the same thing happened both times. They were basically brand new and covered under warranty, so I emailed the company with instructions to send them in. I mailed them out in January and was told I could pick a different pair. Then I spent six months trying to get someone to respond through email and phone calls. I even sent a certified letter that was signed for, but still nothing. I threatened legal action and no one would even call me back. After all that time I still don't have my sunglasses or my money. This company feels like a total scam and I'm exploring my options. They've had my two hundred fifty dollar pair the entire time.
Avoid this company completely. I ordered two pairs of ski goggles and one arrived damaged. I contacted them twice about wanting to return it and they ignored me both times. Now I'm trying to get my money back through my credit card company, but they're fighting me on it. This whole experience has been a nightmare.
Don't buy from this company, seriously. I got some sunglasses for my brother's birthday but they needed to be returned. We sent them back within their timeframe and I have the FedEx tracking to prove they got them. Almost six weeks have gone by and still no refund. I've tried calling and emailing several times and they won't respond. I'm starting to wonder if they're shutting down or something. They're really awful to deal with.
