Customer service reached out and worked through it with me, but it still wasn't working right. When I requested a return, the whole process went smoothly without any complications. They respond fast and will help however they can. Definitely ordering again next week.
Not sure what FishUSA understands that the bigger retailers miss, but every single time I've ordered from them the experience has been fantastic from start to finish. Really top quality service throughout the whole process.
Think carefully before ordering from FishUSA. I bought a rod online and had to cancel it hours later. I submitted the cancellation on a weekend and followed up with an email Monday explaining the situation, but got no response. A few days later my account showed the order as closed with zero cost, so I assumed they processed the cancellation. Then UPS contacted me saying my rod was being delivered and the charge appeared in my bank account. I've sent numerous messages through every contact method available and still haven't received any reply. I can't call during their business hours, and their customer service is inexcusable. The rod wasn't what I needed but I don't have confidence they'll issue a proper refund if I send it back, so I'm stuck with it. My account still displays the same order information, showing they have serious problems managing orders. I won't order from them again and plan to share my experience publicly.
Placed two separate orders and got excellent service both times. Even though my orders came in late in the evening, they shipped out the next business day. The standard delivery through USPS isn't the fastest thing out there but it does the job, getting to delivery ready status in about 2 days.
FishUSA shipped my package through UPS by mistake when I specifically requested USPS priority mail. This caused an unexpected $20.70 charge for customs and brokerage fees. When I brought it to their attention, they reimbursed me right away without any hassle. That's outstanding customer care.
